We had one night in Miami and wanted some good Cuban food. I found this place to be overpriced and just ok. Our waiter disappeared for a while, a long while and apologized. Our guests liked the sea bass, but the steaks we had were slightly tough. There was a lovely violinist playing which was nice. This place needs to have a little more creativity in their presentation of their dishes and more complex flavors. My octopus just had four tentacles sitting on the plate with one piece of broccoli rabe. It tasted ok but just not appetizing as a presentation.

Food was good

Yuca is a lovely experience. The staff are welcoming and look great in their Cuban fedoras. The food is amazing and portion sizes just right. We were slightly unlucky with a large stag party taking place behind us but the staff were great

The restaurant was location was great and the serves was brilliant.

Food was amazing. Very delicious. Service was outstanding. We had calamari, goat cheese and truffle croquettes...all were amazing. The coconut shrimp and gnocchi entree were excellent. The gnocchi had a spice sauce which was delightful. We had the panacotta and mango tiramisu for dessert. I would have to say hands down the mango tiramisu is he go to dessert. The have an wide variety of mojitoa and margaritas, both of which were delicious as well.

It was one of our long time go 2 when visiting SOBE for past 15 years. We always get the whole red snapper, because it was the best anywhere. Except this time sorry to say very disappointed. The snapper wasn't fresh and the coconut rice had no cocnut. Sad to say, probably won't be a go 2 any longer.

Yuca was recommended to us by a bartender at our favorite restaurant in New Jersey. We opted for outside seating. Beside the great food and service the people watching made the night a very enjoyable experience. We recommend to all when staying in South Beach.

It’ so tough to tell what to order, because it’s all so good. We skipped lunch so we could try more dishes at dinner; that was an excellent strategy. Try the fresh tasting Mojito, the date appetizer, and the sugar shrimp, and the vegetarian plate, and you won’t regret it!

Honestly, like too many places in Miami Beach, this is a tourist/drunk sales force people trap.
The food is okay, but not spectacular and quite blend. My ox tail dish was dry and seriously lacking onto vegetables side. Desserts were sugary,
Noise level is atrocious if you happen to be seated next to a table of 20 business revelers, already drunk when they walked in.
But, make no mistake, even for a party of three, you will be automatically billed for the 18% service charge as Yuca correctly assumes not too many sophisticated clients visit their place. :(

YUCA is on Lincoln Road in South Beach. If you eat outside it is great for people watching. Also great location if going to the New World Symphony as it is a short walk. Great Mojito cocktail. Interesting and very good Cuban/American based food and not heavy like some Cuban food. My wife and I go there every year as our annual Lincoln Road dinner outing.

Great time

Honestly, don’t waste your money. The place looks good but the food is bad. Ceviche wasn’t fresh, tasted fishy and poorly seasoned. Paella tasted like instant rice seasoned with a flavor packet, tossed with old seafood.

did not have a pleasant experience. was seated in corner table next to a very very very loud table of about 15 people. could not even talk to my date without having to raise my voice. second floor was closed to my dismay. online I understood there was dancing. food was good and server was kind and attentive however overall experience was poor.

The food is very good. The service, well, let's just say that everything that we ordered arrived at the same time; appetizers, entrees, salads on large plates that were too bit for the table of 4

The restaurant is located in a great location and the service is very good. The food has a nice presentation but is mediocre. This was my second time to dine here. Both times the service was good but the food was lacking.

This is a great place for appetizers and drinks. We had the paella for dinner and it was good, but apps were the highlight of the meal.

Nestor was our waiter, he was very good- we had friends from London and the south Hamptons first time in south Florida- they were very impressed with the delicious meals. Only negative was the noise level- very hard to hear each other - otherwise we will go back

Yuca provides an excellent venue on Lincoln Road Mall to enjoy Nuevo Cubano cuisine while taking in the eclectic celebration known as Lincoln Road Mall. I recommend it to all my friends who come in from out of town. Thanks.

This restaurant was amazing! From the minute we walked in the door, we received the best customer service!! The manager, Orlando, was great! He greeted us warmly, attentively took care of us, and made us feel very welcome. Drinks, food, service and atmosphere were all really amazing!! The food was authentic upscale Cuban food, and it was delicious! Throughout the meal, we were serenaded by the talented violinist! My friends and I all agree that Yuca was definitely the highlight of the trip! Thanks to the restaurant and staff who made our night so special and fun!

It was our first visit- Six of us enjoyed every bite! Our waiter guided us through the menu and made wonderful suggestions!
The noise level was a bit too much for meaningful conversation but a great time!
