Great service from Alberto! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. Food was delicious as were the cocktails. Great find!
Celebrated birthday dinner with family and friends! Everything was delicious!
We were here for an annual ladies trip to Miami Beach and have eaten here in the past. We all agreed we had to dine here again - it did not disappoint! Staff was friendly, and attentive. Food was wonderful and generous portions. The flavor levels of our different entrees were right on point and we plan on coming back here for dinner next year.
I thoroughly enjoyed visiting Yuca while on a trip to Miami. Great location being in a popular shopping mall and close to the beach. We made reservations on Open Table even though we didn't need to, for a Saturday night the restaurant was surprisingly empty around 7pm but was filling up by the time we left at 9pm, interestingly. The Yuca fries and paella were very good but the Churrasco was amazinggg! So flavorful, a huge portion, and the sauce over top was to die for. I highly suggest the Churrasco if you go there! Top notch and great restaurant with a beautiful bar, even if you're just popping in for a drink.
The Un Coco Muy Loco is one of the best desserts I have ever had anywhere n the world! If you love coconut like I do, this dessert is to die for!!!
Great!!!! Lamb was the best thus I have ever tasted.
I was in Miami on vacation with my 2 daughters aged 12 and 10. This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend who had visited when he was in town on business. I booked the table on line and it was ready waiting for our party of 10 which included 5 children. The young lady who served our table was very warm and welcoming and knowledgable of the fish sea. She is Cuban so this helped with our selections but also added to the ambience. I had the calamari which was very well presented and cooked perfectly. To follow I had the Cuban lamb shank which was out of this world. We had drink including 2 bottles of red wine and the bill for 10 was $550. This included children’s meals. For Miami this was reasonable and our over all experience was very positive. I would highly recommend!
Food and service were excellent. The only issue I had was the price of the daily special. Most items on the menu were around $15. I ordered the special and when the bill came, was surprised to learn that it was $36!!!! The server should have mentioned the price...(yes, I could have Al's asked before ordering )
The food was great! We ordered the stuffed pepper appetizer which was great, just small - they only gave us 2 very small peppers. The Churrasco was good and the sauce that came with it was great. The tuna dish was the highlight of the night! The atmosphere was awesome and there was a live violinist that even came outside to play for the outdoor crowd. I would definitely go back!
The food was not that good. The plantain chips did not have salt. The mashed sweet plantains seemed more like mashed potatoes. The ceviche was ok, not great. The yucas were good. They had state tax, city tax, and a forced 18% tip.
We were on vacation in Miami and was on the historic Lincoln Road. It was time for dinner and searched for a nice place to try. Yuca seemed like a nice pick- food was delicious, ambiance is very lively with loud music. Pricing is rather high given the tourist area, and Miami adds a standard 18% gratuity onto bill no matter what kind of service is provided. We received good service, but would have liked to decide on tip.
My first time eating Cuban food and Yuca was definitely the right place to do it! I highly recommend it!
Todo estuvo excelente. Muy buena comida y muy buen servicio. El mesero venezolano muy amable y atento a cualquier detalle. El violinista le encantó a mi esposa. Cada vez que vamos a Miami este es nuestro lugar favorito para comer. Gracias yuca.
Our server was very pleasant and the food incredible
Service and Food were excellent. It was my 2nd attempt at paella on this trip and they nailed it! My entire party was pleased and Kristoff’s service was delightful!
The food tasted very fresh, which is so important since we ordered seafood. Had dinner on father's day, the restaurant was quiet and we enjoyed the violinist playing all along the evening. The hostess remembered the preference that I jotted down when I reserved and the service was excellent.
We sat outside so it wasn't too noisy. This was probably the best meal I had in Miami Beach. The paella, lobster mash, and Cuban corvina were all excellent. Would go again!
We had a group from out of town, this was a fantastic dinner experience! We highly recommend
Brilliant Cuban cuisine, authentic in a vibrant location. Staff very knowledgeable and friendly.
Food was delicious!
I have already recommended Yuca! It has a GREAT menu & very good quality - everything we had was quite good. The issue was with the noise in the restaurant, it was so loud, we couldn't visit. So, we sat outside, but, the table was far too small for a party of 4 and it was not great weather to be outside. But, I would return.
We came to yuca to celebrate As part of our friend’s bachelorette party. We had a great time dining on their patio, dancing with their musician, and eating their delicious food. I look forward to eating there again.
Great food and cocktails. Lovely location on Lincoln Road, not smack in the middle were it gets really crowded but just at the beginning of that so people-watching is still good. It is Miami in May (warm & humid) but we had a breeze since the tables are so jammed together. Definitely will go back.
Loud music inside but pleasant outside. Good Cuban food.
The restaurant itself is really cute. It's on the busy streets of Lincoln Road. I had made a reservation on Opentable and was running late so I tried to call the restaurant to change our reservation time, but no one picked up. We decided to take a chance to go to the restaurant anyway and it turns out it was pretty empty and had plenty of availability. The waitstaff is extremely nice and gives great recommendations. We ordered the cucumber mojito which was great (ended up ordering two of them) ceviche and calamari as a starter. The calamari was recommended by the waiter and it truly was delicious. The breading had such great flavor and wasn't overly oily. The ceviche was tasteless and didn't even have salt pepper or lime. It didn't have any flavor at all. For our main dish we ordered the Churasco and the meat was cooked really well and tasted amazing with the potatoes but I do think it was salty so it was hard for me to enjoy it fully. Overall this place is good but was not one of my favorite places in Miami. I did appreciate the great service here!
The seafood paella was great! Loved the live violin player.
Absolutely loved every dish we tried. Very fresh veggies, delicious meat, bright flavors and colors. We are already talking about returning next week!
Everything was good, except our waiter. He had a real bad attitude.
Very nice wait staff but the restaurant doesn’t have much of a vibe. The food was over seasoned. My daughter’s pasta bolognese was saturated in olives, was very salty, and was a very dense meat dish with no tomato sauce. I had the tuna which was plentiful but not very tasty and overly coated with seeds. It wasn’t seared as I had ordered and it almost tasted like it was steamed. The vegetables were awesome but barely there and the mashed potatoes weren’t fresh.
My wife birthday party.
Not authentic. More of a
The hostess and servers were delightful and friendly. Food presented in a lovely manner and everything was delicious. This was our third visit to Yuca and probably the best; will definitely return
Great service and food!
Great food, great for people watching
Young Hungarian server top notch. Food was enjoyable; not great but good enough. Prices were okay, especially for the Beach. Music is tuned too loud, but otherwise the ambiance is fine.
the food is delicious and the service is exceptional. special comment to Salvatore the waiter. I have provided us with a 5 star service. If you want to have a excellent dinner then you know where you could go: Yuca Miami.
We left. The waiter was rude and impatient and did not inspire confidence. When asked if the guacamole was spicy he said it’s “hot” not spicy- huh? Said it was already made and no adjustments could be made...
Food was good, but nothing that wowed us. Calamari appetizer was delicious. We ordered the Osso Bucco and seared tuna as our entrees. Both had good flavor but nothing we couldn’t make at home. Our server was friendly and attentive though we we felt a little rushed to order when we really just wanted to take our time. Definitely request outdoor seating - it’s great people watching and in April, the weather was pleasant.
I dined at Yuca as a "final night in Miami" celebration dinner. I enjoyed the paella and the guava BBQ ribs were "fall off the bone!" The service was great too. Outside seating is more "casual" than inside seats, but still nice.
One of the best restaurants in south beach. Make this a stop on your trip.
