Youngbloods ambiance and decor was reminiscent of Parisian Art Deco, with a classical Greek touch. I found myself starting up at the beautiful, Himalayan salt looking statues framing the bar, and then when I looked down I found even another surprise. Our server, I believe Jenny, (you have awesome style by the way! Love your look!) was very kind and attentive and created a wonderful experience for us. I love the fact there’s no set menu! Jenny walked us through our three courses of cocktails asking for our preferences on various alcohols and flavor profiles, whether we wanted something bold and bright, or tall and fizzy. We received a welcome glass of champagne as well, served in a beautiful flute. Each of my cocktails were tailored to my preferences and were incredibly floral and arromatic, two of them being garnished with baby’s breath flowers that I watched them clip from the bar, as well as vibrant purple violets. My final cocktail was the best of them all- they called it a Youngblood original - if you want a creamy and bright cocktail ask for the orange creamsicle. I can’t recall the specific name they used for this cocktail but the group I was with was about to fight over who would drink it, it was that delicious. I will be definitely be visiting Youngblood again.
Youngblood has a great look and feel to it, pushed away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown businesses. The bartenders are some of the best in the city and the drinks are superb. It is a quiet and enjoyable experience!
Great date night. Amazing drinks. No food.
Great business and great service! Coming back whenever I find the occasion
AMAZING !!!!! Can’t wait to come back !!!
The service was amazing, and the drinks were INCREDIBLE. (Shout out to Tony!) Love the vibe. Already booked my next reservation to come back with my sister!
Such a unique experience! Great cocktails provided with a generous attention to detail. Fun speakeasy with grandiose ambitions.
Loved it, will be back soon!
Amazing place, I like the fact that they make the drinks specifically for you. It’s a pretty good experience.
Great experience at Youngblood. @MrSanDiegoRealtor
Young Blood is the new place to be. It was so much fun. The crowd was eclectic. We are in our early 40's, but the crowd consisted of girls out on a girls night, couples, business men, etc. The drinks were to die for and ALL of them were different even if the group all ordered tequila. So so much fun. The place itself is beautiful, quaint, and had the vibe of the 1920's. It is a must see place.
The ambience, service, and drinks were great. Definitely recommend for a date night. Just remember it’s through the barrels.
Upon entering neighborhood bar Brenden behind the bar was just the right amount of informative to not spoil the experience. Originally we were sat in a awkward spot in the pathway but luckily we asked to be moved and glad we did. Everything else was exceptionally amazing! We will definitely return for another date night and will gift this for my real estate clients. Lou was incredible. Food got a low rating because there isn’t any at young blood.
Excellent service, ambiance, and experience! (Food was n/a as it's drinks only)
I loved this experience so much, 10/10 recommend! The staff and Tony our bartender were so hands on and fun!
Drinks were well conceived and creative. The "customized" approach worked. And, they were open to requests; yet intentional about how requests were included (i.e., they didn't add something randomly because we asked). Bar staff were fantastic - knowledgeable, proactive. Atmosphere set the expectation that we were welcome guests - without being overdone. We let friends know immediately!
Decor is on point with a golden classy vibe. Best speakeasy I've been to, right on time after a year in quarantine: service was great from the minute we walked through the first door, drinks were surprisingly on point to our palates and delightful to the eyes as well. I'll definitely go back, just maybe have a bit more dinner before venturing into an all-drinks menu :D
Excellent service. The drinks that were curated for us were superb and ambiance was lovely.
Thoroughly impressed. Youngblood is it a league of its own! Imagine old Hollywood in downtown San Diego with a Las Vegas mixologist. While service wasn't flawless, Youngblood has only been open for a week or so... Keeping that in mind, the experience was spectacular. The staff was personable and professional. The drinks were incredible and truly catered to our taste. We cannot wait to go back!
Thoroughly enjoyed the curated 3-drink experience.
Amazing service by Tony, delicious & personal cocktails, a wonderful experience from all the staff, beautiful venue. Will be coming back.
Such a fun night, loved the entrance to the speak easy and the room had such a nice ambiance! All the drinks we had were amazing, such a good deal for the price! Highly recommend.
Came here to celebrate a birthday for a party of 6. Ambiance was nice but poor experience. Paid $65 for 3 drinks and an experience. Took 2 hours just to get 2 drinks and left after being there for almost 3 hours. It was getting late on a Thursday night and have work the next day. Waitress was not apologetic nor attentive to our needs. Drinks are horrible. First drink was super sour, second was too strong and sweet. I understand that they just opened and are still working out the kinks, but I will not come back nor would I recommend this place. Spoke to the GM, nice guy who was actually apologetic but our mood was already ruined.
The service sucked!
Great experience. Great drinks, bartender/servers and ambience. We love the speakeasies. We had to wait only 20 min past our reservation but it was worth it.
Amazing space, amazing service, amazing drinks. Wow

Lovely intimate space with a carefully curated ambience and delicious craft cocktails.
I really had high hopes I absolutely love anything that CH project do! All of their places are unique and always have the best staff.. since you had to pay and book weeks in advance I was expecting this to be better than raised by wolves my favorite CH project place.. nope same bartender though, when you walk in the place looks beautiful as always. My waiter yelled at me and did not give me any of the drinks that I wanted this is supposed to be personalized to your experience but when I looked around everyone had the same drinks.. she didn’t listen to what I wanted. the table next to me they sent their drinks back and shared the same experience we did I ended up liking one out of the three drinks that I got my date did not like all three so it kind of made it not worth the money since that’s what you’re paying. They re very strict with their time but they don’t seem to to have a good system in order I was asked to leave before guess that got there before me were asked to leave?!?! Deffs have a lot to work out before I go back... The front door man Lou is cool!!
A great place for date night. I suggest the experience at youngblood then grabbing dinner at neighborhood!
The bartender was very attentive to our needs. He asked about what liquor we liked and created cocktails to match our tastes. In addition, we commented about several custom blends they have and before we knew it, tastes of each showed up. It is hard to get a reservation, but well worth it.
What an amazing feel and look. The sconces are next level. How’d they do that?
It’s the first week and still getting the hang on things. It was super busy. I will certainly return and try it again.
WOW! Do yourself a favor and get yourself to YoungBlood ASAP. Drinks, ambiance, carpet, experience - all top notch.
Service was fantastic, experience was highly unique, and the drinks were incredible.
The best night of my entire life.
Youngblood is a great speakeasy and does not offer a food menu. This is a top destination for cocktails and conversation. I would suggest this place to anyone looking for these two things for the evening. Fantastic place.
Curated cocktails in an intimate, good looking setting. Come here for an elevated drinking experience!
You pay upfront prior to coming to Youngblood, taxes and gratuity included.
You enter in through the Neighborhood bar, which has undergone a remodel and now boasts a lovely interior styling that’s to be admired. If you’ve ever been to Nobel Experiment, you enter in through the same keg-disguised door at the rear of Neighborhood. But rather than going right towards Nobel, you walk straight towards the speakeasy that sits behind a door disguised as a refrigerator. The bar seats maybe 40 people max. Upon entering the space, you’re treated to a lavishly decorated room, complete with liquor bottles decorating the walls and a detailed styling that needs to be seen and experienced. No detail is spared, from the gold-plated roofing to the reel-to-reel music playing, everything is wonderfully detailed.
After an introductory glass of bubbly, we chose from a list of 6 cocktails, two options for each serving. The drinks work as a progression, from light to strong. Pick your own adventure off the menu or ask for whatever drink you’d like. It’s highly suggested you work off the menu for the full experience.
We had a wonderful experience here and we can’t wait to go back. Congrats to Consortium Holdings on yet another spectacular venue!
We came in for the first week of their opening, and there are still a few things they need to figure out so rezzos can be on time. The whole CH team was very accommodating, and since we had to wait for another party to finalize their experience, we were provided with complimentary drinks at JTonys. Once we finally were able to come in for our cocktail flight experience, we were glad we waited. The place really lives up to the expectation of what all the CH experience means and what they want to offer. The flight is all a surprise - drinks based on your tastebuds and mood for the night - and the mixologist’s knowledge of the ingredients. And the noise level is perfect to be able to carry on a convo and not have to raise your voice too much. Will definitely stop by again. Don’t forget to check out the carpet - you’ll know what I mean when you’re there.
Loved this unique experience and the ambience!
