Went with a date on a colder spring night and we were sitting inside. They had us sitting under an air conditioning vent in the corner. Our first waitress was able to turn the air off but 30 minutes later it turned back on, and we were unable to get it turned back off. My date had to wear her winter jacket for the rest of the evening due to the frigid temperatures. Towards the end of the night I was also freezing. The servers never checked in with us once the air turned back on and it ruined what had the potential to be a nice evening. I would not recommend this place unless you want to pretend you are out to eat in an igloo.

The view was amazing, the food was great and the staff was good as well. We planned this on our final night in Boston and it was definitely a good way to close out our awesome experience in the northeast.
Indoor experience: Out of flavored vodka options, though they have three pages worth of alcohol menus. Still on their winter cocktails and only 5 to choose from. Food options are basic, minimal, and lack luster. The only thing worth going to this “restaurant” for is the outdoor views. That is it.

Amazing views, all quite good with two exceptions: no draft beer and lack of care for sustainability. Instead of asking if the customer wants tap or bottled water, they automatically bring you single use plastic bottles of water (without you even asking). Please care for the environment and help to reduce waste.

We showed up and was not greeted by a host for quite a few minutes, and then were told our reservation was for indoors, even though it definItely was for outdoor dining.
Then! when we were finally sat (outdoors, luckily), the waitress took our order, was friendly... but unfortunately the order was wrong. Avocado crema on the side, not on tacos, was not followed. a complete wrong order was brought out.
nice view. had an opening saturday morning. wouldn't go back, but if you had no other choices, not SO terrible.

Lots of dishes breaking or slamming of dishes. Very loud. Server made it feel like he didn’t want us there.
Drinks were good. Gelato was excellent. The vibe of the place is fun and hip.

Amazing experience. Drinks to go, expensive but worth it, view is incredible, so glad I stayed at yotel and plan to stay again next time I am in boston!
I brought my family here while they were visiting me. The service was great, the drinks were fun, and the food was yummy. It was a perfect day to be on the rooftop and they loved the view. We had a great time and got some cute pictures.

Beautiful view and very open patio to make you feel comfortable during COVID. Staff was a little inattentive but I think they may have only had one waitress on.
12 noon outside, space heaters kept us cozy. Wonderful lunch!
The view was amazing the service and the food we will be back
Made a mistake and accidentally showed up 25 minutes late to my reservation. They had marked me down as a no show even though I was a guest at the hotel just two floors down, I would've expected a call from anywhere else before marking me as a no show. but all was well, they still had our table and sat us right away. View is absolutely gorgeous. drinks are tiny, but delicious, for the price and the food was awful. we only got the cheesy dip, though. Waiter watched us sit there cold and clearly done eating for 10 minutes before he asked us if we wanted the check. I will definitely come back, it's totally worth it for the pictures and view, but that's about it.

We loved our drinks and the nachos with crabmeat were amazing. Would definitely recommend this place for the view and the vibe.

The atmosphere was very deceiving based on the picture that is on the yotel website ,I was very disappointed with what I saw and expected,from this establishment.
For example: there was no lounge chairs,
The food was not tasty ,the tables throughout the area that they had available ,were high top tables more like something you get at a diner no atmosphere . I could not wait to leave!
Went here with some friends. Unfortunately it was raining outside so we had to eat inside. But the view was still great. The food and drinks were pretty good. However the wait staff could have been more attentive especially considering that we came at an off time and it wasn’t that busy in the restaurant

Our server left us, she clocked out and we sat unattended for an hour. The food was not worth the price, and the restaurant seemed to be a lobby, not a dining area.

Everything was perfect with our time at Deck 12, the only frustrating thing is that our reservation was at 1pm but we had to wait to get seated and served until about 120. After that everything was fantastic

Hi, I was looking to experience the roofdeck yet was sat inside. There should be specific seat choosing on this app. It was very disappointing when getting there and having to sit inside.
We are sorry you were not able to experience our wonderful rooftop deck this trip, as noted on our restaurant profile on OpenTable we do accept seating selection requests through the app. If outdoor was not available it may have been already booked to capacity. Food and service were great.....the cocktails on their menu are good.....but if you want a dirty martini or vodka/soda their vodka is a berry flavor, its odd. My bf mentioned his vodka tasting like grape and they got him a new one which also tasted like grape.
While were are glad you enjoyed your visit, we are sorry the drink wasn't up to par. While some of our favorite featured vodkas are produced with a grape blend, we do have plenty of grain based vodkas as well, we hope you will visit us again so we can make you a great dirty martini (we have a soft spot for those as well)!
Went to the rooftop bar and ordered $137 of food and drinks. 18% gratuity was included in the price and was confirmed with the waitress.
A day later I found a $270 charge on my card and now the restaurant will not pick up my call or take any messages. I’m trying to give them the benefit of the doubt that they charged us over 100%tip because we left the tip section blank because it was already included in the total price.

Debated whether or not to write this review because I hope it doesn't become too popular but this is truly a secret gem in Boston! Given that this is one of a few rooftops in the city, I'm always surprised whenever I can snag a reservation. Though you'll come here for the views and drinks, the food is pretty good as well. The service is also notably excellent and friendly - from the host to the waiter and everyone who attended to us.

The food wasn’t great and the drinks were gross
Heaters were not working despite my calling ahead of time and them assuring us they were. Patio was super cold and first they sat us out in open, with no heaters in sight. Gave us attitude when we asked to be moved closer to a heater. When asked if heater could be turned up, they nonchalantly said these are not meant for winter! At that point, we moved inside. Took a good while for anyone to take our order, even longer to bring our drinks. When we asked for hot sauce, took them 20 min to bring it. Changed the server on us twice. Asked us to leave at 90 min mark even though the restaurant was pretty much empty. Did not even acknowledge that we were there to celebrate a birthday. Food was good but the mediocre service and poor attitudes will prevent us from visiting again.

Always outstanding. Love the deck. Enough glass around to protect from wind for most part. Red tomato salsa is FAB. Love the Farmers Omelette, and good for calorie and health conscious. My friend had the burger and she is VERY picky. She loved it. Was sunny with a few snow flakes falling---which was kind of surreal. Their heaters are great. Was about 40 degrees and we were just fine. I bring my own chair cushions in a shopping bad to all outdoor restaurants so the derrière stays warm, plus I have a skinny butt, to counteract the cool seats, but think they have blankets for guests anyhow. Service is always great. I have so much respect for those who serve us. Please tip big.

Deck 12 has a fantastic view and is definitely worth the extra money for drinks and food. However, we went on a Saturday night and despite making a reservation that was supposed to have a heat lamp (and also showing up on time), we did not get a table with one and were freezing for the entire time. I would definitely not recommend going for outdoor dining during the winter. They were also unfortunately out of mint but that was no big deal. Service was fast and friendly, so it was overall a decent experience. We look forward to going to deck 12 during the summer though!
While we are glad you enjoyed the view and the food (Chefs menu is fantastic and that view is breathtaking) we are sorry we were not able to get you under a heat lamp. We try our best to accommodate all requests but unfortunately due to the limited number of lamps we are unable to always fulfill requests. Our staff do however keep plenty of blankets and hot water bottles available to make sure our guests stay toasty. We definitely look forward to hosting you for some summer fun on Deck 12!
This rooftop bar is extremely overpriced! We got a drink each and one appetizer and it was $60. My drink was very very tiny. It was something passion. My boyfriend got a tiki drink which was decent. You are definitely paying for the view. They also calculate in 18% tip automatically. They gave us a table with heaters that barely worked. Don't suggest going in the winter. Go when its nice out in the spring or summertime
We are sorry this was your experience, we can certainly vouch that our patio is the perfect escape during the warm summer months! We understand it gets cold on the rooftop this time of year and for our guests safety our heat lamps are not adjustable. Our table had a heat lamp next to it, as we sat outdoors, but it didn’t seem to put off any heat. Our food was cold the minute it touched the table and our drinks we’re so bad we left them at the table (albeit paying $30 for them). Very disappointed with the service received here.

I booked a reservation for a Friday and had outdoor dining as promised. The service was good and the menu was solid. The city views were great too. Definitely worth a visit!

the view is wonderful, but the waiter service left me wanting very slowly, I asked for a glass to drink beer the lady was going to see if she had a clean glass and even then it took more than 10 minutes for her to do that. the food is ok nothing wonderful the view is perfect and the 18% commission is already included in the bill
