The menu is equally impressive, featuring sizzling steaks and fresh seafood. Rustic style restaurant, enough appetizers and main course choices. Food was tasty and adequate portions. Service was slow and erratic. Seem to be short on staff.

had an opportunity to visit the mountain room for saturday night dinner. was glad to see dining room full and doing a great dinner service, bar was full too. ordered steak meal and i was over cooked server brought replacement back and it was perfect and delicious. have lovely seat by the window and could watch all the goings on. ice cream for dessert was perfect. was a nice dinner

After several days of camping and hiking, a fine dining experience was greatly appreciated. Our server- Jose was kind, patient and very attentive. The menu choices were excellent- something vegetarians, gluten free or dairy free. The pork belly appetizer was amazing. The burrata tomato salad was refreshing with fresh nectarines and heirloom tomatoes. The pork chop, halibut and Wagyu burger were cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. Lovely way to spend as a reward for hiking to the top of Yosemite Falls.

Our dinner was beautifully prepared and delicious. The endive salad’s ingredients were perfect together and the raspberries were the best I’ve ever had. The trout was delicious as well as the halibut. We really enjoyed the basque cheesecake, too! Our waiter, Eric, was great, too. Of course, the setting is very special!

From the greeting at the host desk to our outstanding server, Jose, to the delectable food, our evening was perfect. Then you add the back drop of Yosemite through floor to ceiling windows, you have a perfect evening and experience.

It was great to have gluten free options, and the food was delicious. It was very pricey though for the portions you get, and $17 for a drink is a little wild. It is Yosemite though, so it was worth the indulgence.
