Wow! What can we say? This continues to be one of our favorite restaurants in Vegas and our overall favorite Japanese restaurant. The food is outstanding. What a great value. The seafood is so fresh. Cooked items are cooked to perfection. Service on January 23, 2017 was superlative.

Lots of food on the menu were out of stock. The food was not good. Tempura tasted weird.

Very good meal with inventive presentations. Some of the flavors were a bit repetitive from dish to dish. Table a bit cramped for amount of food being brought out and service a bit spotty but earnest.
Value very good on Omakase for the quality of ingredients and amount of food.
Limited parking out front, there is a lot on the back. Good find for off strip Vegas, still prefer Raku overall.

This was our second time dining at Yonaka. We were celebrating my wife's birthday on this occasion. The service, quality of food, flavor and presentation were all outstanding. After discovering Yonaka this is now our go to place for Japanese cuisine. My family has owned three Japanese restaurants in the L.A. area and I have been trained as a chef assistant. After moving to Las Vegas six years ago my wife and I have been searching for a good Japanese restaurant. Our search is over.

We did the 14 course option for a party of three. It sounded small but we left full and fulfilled. The taste profile of food is exceptional and the portions were just right. The servers were informative and the sushi chefs behind the bar were very delicate. Their food plating is creative and the mixture of different textures in each course we had was extremely pleasant to the palette. The course meals change seasonally so I will definitely try to be back again during a different season to see what they have.

Creative looking food. Creative flavours. The sake orengi is my favourite. Definitely going back!

The 14 course Omakase is the way to go! Selection was great, tasty and fresh. For 4 people it was only $215 which is a steal!

Great Japanese tapas type restaurant with very good food with prices to match. Quiet and unassuming in a very small strip mall on Flamingo, food is top rate plus service i.e. Exceptional.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Yonaka. My guest had the mixed salad that included greens, asparagus, avocado, and Asian pear. She said it was an excellent salad but could have used a little more dressing. I had the seaweed cucumber salad topped with octopus. The octopus was very tender and tasty as was the seaweed. My guest then had the restaurant's best selling cold plate. This was salmon with orange supreme, yuzu tobiko, and orange oil. She loved it but it was a bit too tart for my taste. I had an order of salmon belly sashimi. It was topped with salmon roe and on a bed of snow. It was spectacular. I also had a spicy tuna roll that was great. It had a better rice to filling ratio than most other places. The presentations of all the dishes were top shelf. Service was professional and friendly.

The most horrific service organization I have seen since the beginning of my trip mid August.
What's happening in the kitchen is clearly more acceptable but the overall experience doesn't let you enjoy the dishes.

Quality modern Japanese! I've been going there since they opened 3 years ago and every time I take new friends there, we all have a great meal and awesome experience. There's always something new to try so it feels like a new adventure every time!

After reading the reviews, I was expecting my socks to be knocked off. However, I was disappointed. Some of the dishes were outstanding, and others were just so-so. The toro belly was especially delicious and the rolls were very good. We had the 11-course omakase, which was a good value, relatively speaking. Perhaps it would've been better to order separately.

Very fresh and unique sushi off the strip. This is NOT your local sushi place, this is special and delicately selected fish, from tuna belly to salmon belly, all around wonderful. Quiet place, great escape from the strip but I think they can do so much better with a twist on the setting.

Everything was perfect!!! First the service was amazing!! The drinks where all so delicious and some of the best food I've ever had in Vegas. We didn't eat one bad thing! In fact we had to order double and triples of some items because they were so good!

Tried the 8 item tasting menu for 4 people with a couple extras. Everything was amazing. The standouts for us were a salmon sashimi in an amazing orange colored sauce and wagyu beef served with a hot stone for searing at the table. I think we over ate with 11 dishes but besides one plate (a yellowtail sashimi with apples) we all enjoyed everything very much. The restaurant was an easy lyft ride from the LV strip and I cannot imagine that you'd find anything better in the area. Our waiter was very friendly and just the right amount of attentive and definitely steered us in the right direction when he recommended the tasting menu.

Very creative and satisfying cuisine with a wide range of choices. Ken, our server, was very helpful in suggesting dishes as this was our first visit. We met the Chef Owner - Ramii(sp?) and complemented him all round. We were there for lunch, and will definitely return for dinner!

My restaurant! When I come to Vegas, I make sure to eat at Yonaka as often as I can.

This place it's off the beaten path but we'll worth the visit. We got the eleven course meal. There maybe two courses I didn't like, but that is just a matter of personal taste and part of the adventure of eleven courses and you don't know what any of them are beforehand. Service was excellent. Though the eleven course was expensive the main menu item prices looked very reasonable given the upscale ambiance and gourmet presentation.

We love this place. The dishes are creative, fresh, and beautifully presented. Everyone is nice and accommodating. We highly recommend this place!

A friend told us the next time we were in Vegas, we simply HAD to try Yonaka. I'm SO thankful she recommended this gem. The service was outstanding and the food was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. They offer such healthy options, but you'd never know it because they are SO incredibly tasty! I can recommend Yonaka without any hesitation...you'll be glad you tried them (and if you live in Vegas, you'll likely return often!)

Hands down, one of my top 3 choices when I'm in Las Vegas. The flavors are incredible and the offerings are simply art on a plate. I usually go with the Omakase and have never been disappointed.

This is one of those places where you roll the dice and hit it big. The food was well prepared and very fresh. They have dishes that range from the traditional to modern takes on sushi. This will be top of the list to take friends for casual dining or business meals.

Very unique Japanese dishes. I had a great time. Needs a little more air circulation to get rid of the grease scent but that's easily forgotten once you taste the food
