Yolo's Mexican Grill
The fun-loving crowd and bright interior at this casual Las Vegas Mexican restaurant makes for a great cantina experience on the Strip. Delve into all your favorite Mexican favorites and even sample dishes with Pacific Rim, South American, and Caribbean influences.
Service average...food better than service. Had issues with being overbilled.
Great guacamole and excellent shrimp tacos. Will give 5 stars once they stop using plastic straws
Food was delicious ! I had the shredded beef burrito. Drinks were fantastic! Eric was our server. He did a great job!
Food was not good at all. We got a ground beef burrito which they brought out a shredded beef burrito. Sent it back got the ground beef and it had no taste.
Service was very good, friendly and professional! 👍😊
Great food. Friendly and attentive staff. Will definitely return whenever I’m in Vegas.
Seriously the most Amazing food with Amazing service. Very impressed with table side fresh made guacamole. One appetizer was plenty for the 4 people in our group. Can't wait to go back. Loved it.
Based on the previous reviews, I didn't have high expectations for Yolo's, but wanted to have dinner before a concert, so we gave it a try. I was more than pleasantly surprised; the food was really good (shrimp fajitas were full of flavor with house made tortillas and served with ramekins of cheese, sour cream, salsa, and guacamole). Great value, especially for a restaurant on the Strip and good beverage choices. They also offer food until midnight (unlike most of the spots at Planet Hollywood - so good for after concert snacks).
My only complaint is that the temperature was very warm in the restaurant, but I'll definitely be back!
Great food and great service. The bar area sits close to the casino, so that is not ideal if you want a more quiet experience.
Still looking for a place in Vegas that has decent Mexican food. We moved from Colorado and haven't found anything that compares with the Mexican food we were accustomed to there. I had carne tampiquena at Yolos and it tasted like beef cubes with diced tomatoes with a touch of peppers.
Great service. Guacamole is a must !
On a recent trip to Vegas, we needed a medium-priced restaurant in Planet Hollywood that could accommodate a reservation for 16. I chose Yolo’s for that reason. However, I was very impressed with the quality of food and great service we received! They will no longer be a convenience choice for me, but a yummy choice! I recommend Yolo’s for good Mexican!
Fajitas were fatty and greasy.
Enchiladas were dry, I became ill after eating them.
Overall disappointing and would not go back.
It was fair at best the server was fine but was very distracted by a larger table that he was serving. The food was okay nothing outstanding. We were on our way to a show so gave ourselves an hour and a half we were done in 35 min.
Nice Mexican restaurant with plenty of choices. Servings are good size. Quick service.
Food nothing special. Thought it would be a better quality and choices.
Not the best Mexican food I have her had. All the orders came out wrong. The drinks and chips were good. The server was very friendly.
As an appetizer, we ordered to chips and salsa and the street corn. The salsa was mostly tomato based. I thought it would make a great pizza sauce rather than a salsa. The corn had a nice char however it lacked cheese and any kind of mayonnaise sauce which street corn has. I ordered the chicken tamales. They were mediocre. They lacked any kind of flavor. The plating was unusual. The refried beans are mashed to a almost liquid state. The way they were on the plate, it looked like something that came out of a diaper, a grayish brown puddle. Very unappealing to look at. The rice was luke warm and it had hard grains that were probably scraped from the side of the hotel pan. My wife had the vegetable fajita which consisted of 50% shredded carrots and had no flavor. Our server was attentive to the point of being a bother. He kept coming back checking on us and every time he told us, "No hurry, take your time." Funny because we were the only table in that section of the restaurant and it wasn't like people were beating down the doors to get a table. For a restaurant that has been at Planet Hollywood for 11 years, I expected way more. How has this place survived? To give any weight to this review, I am a Corporate Director of Food Operations so I think I know what I am talking about.
Great menu selection and delicious Mexican food. So glad that we ate there. The tamales and burritos were great.
Food was so good! Will for sure go there again when we are in town!
They couldn't make my wife's meal without mushrooms as the waiter said the meal was pre-made. Sad you spend so much money and the food isn't cooked fresh.
great food service was awesome, I had the steak Fajita's super tender and delicious, My wife had Pozole it was like home made
Food was tasteless . Guacamole wasn’t spicy , salsa was okay. Fajitas pretty much no taste. Maybe the worst Mexican food I ever had.
Very bright place and not much decor. Food was just mediocre. Fish tacos plain, guac was tasteless.
Great food and service. We had a large group and all the food came out fast.
I have Celiac Disease, we went after reading reviews the menu was Gluten Free Friendly. Many of the chicken and meat entrees cannot be made gluten free, chips aren’t fried in a dedicated frier. I ordered Shrimp Fajitas and found a large chunk along with little pieces of beef in my food, which were not gluten free. They took the entree off the bill and asked if I wanted them to remake it, but I declined. After ordering I specifically said I had Celiac Disease and needed to avoid gluten, so I couldn’t trust that extra care would be taken the second time around, when it wasn’t taken the first time around. This was out last meal on our trip to Vegas, so I was very disappointed with our choice to go here. Overall, would not recommend to someone with Celiac Disease.
Average food and service
Excellent service (Thanks Reagan)
Good food at a Good price.
Best Mexican corn the cob ever. Good margaritas and price seems fair
Food was average . Cheese enchilada very blah
Beans cold . Tasted like leftovers
We had a great meal, but our waiter was slow to refill our drinks and chips. And it took a long time after we finished eating to finally get our check.
The food was very tasty and the waiters were very friendly and accommodating. What I liked best, was that our waiter prepared the Guacamole in front of us.
The restaurant was not fully booked and we had a very nice and cosy booth for the two of us.
What we didn't like that much (but I guess that's Vegas ) are the omnipresents TV-screens.
Great service at the bar. Very attentive and great recommendations on drinks.
Reagan was an excellent waiter. He was kind and down to earth. The food was fresh and very good.
Disappointing---Chicken Taco was dry and Queso was very unusal----But our server was great
I live in Las Vegas so I can go to any of the many restaurants available. However, I would go back to Yolo's in a heart beat. Good food. Good Service. Good Atmosphere. Our waiter was awesome!
Only had appetizers and drinks before the Gwen Stefani show but it was really good! Fresh tableside guac!
Tortilla soup was overly salty. nachos were just ok.
The food, service and atmosphere were above par at Yolo's Mexican Grill. The margaritas were very good and the price was great! The table side guacamole was acceptable, but not the best we have had. The rest of the food was amazing. The portions were huge! If you are looking for Mexican in Vegas, Yolo's is highly recommended.
