Yokozuna - Yale St
We had a great server and a great time. Food was not bad but was not outstanding either. Booths were very uncomfortable, cocktails and beers were way over priced
Great! They reserved the loft for us and were very attentive!
Food took forever with an almost empty restaurant and was cold on arrival
The best sushi in Tulsa always a great spot for date night
The service was quite slow. We ordered a poke bowl and thought it would be a decent bowl but when it was served, turns out that it was only an appetizer.
We frequent Yokozuna Friday nights and normally dine at the sushi bar. Our food and service have always been exceptional.
Love the food. Service was great. A little pricey but okay to splurge for special occasions. Would eat there more often if the food cost about 20%less.
This is my 2nd time to this location. Ambience was nice. We went around 8:30pm on a Friday. We started with spicy edamame which scorched some of our party’s tounges so we quickly switched back to regular edemame with salt. We ordered yellowtail nigiri and octopus then 4 rolls, hot mess, nothside, nutty professor and flaming lips. All delicious. Hot mess and nutty professor were the tables top 2. We asked for one last roll to be chefs choice which turned out to be our least favorite it was similar to a california roll. All in all great experience and will go again.
Loved the food, but the restaurant was freezing cold.
The service was pretty bad considering very few customers were there. We were ignored while employees were chatting and standing around. Maybe it was an off day? We had decent service the last time we were here.
The food was good; we all ordered sushi rolls. My partner is allergic to milk fat (i.e. not lactose intolerant), and he was disappointed that there weren't a lot of options for sushi rolls that didn't have cream cheese. I thought the variety of sushi rolls was fine, but I will ask for modifications to accommodate my allergies. I am allergic to cucumbers, and they were able to modify my rolls.
This and their other locations are a good place to take someone who is trying sushi for the first time. The menu isn't overwhelming, and there are plenty of options for people that don't want sushi.
Didn’t bring out our appetizer but tried to charge us for it. We told server not to bring a second cocktail if sushi was almost ready, but bar was running behind and it came after. This is not usual, though. Normally service is better.
Amazing food and experience. Will be going back.
Great food. Great time. Great service.
Phenomenal food, cocktails and service!
Great service, great drinks and great food!
Food was excellent and our server was super friendly.
Great service and great food as usual.
Went with my wife, service was great. Sushi and my wifes dish were good but calamari was over cooked and my General Taos chicken tasted only of red wine. I would go back for the sushi, very reasonably priced and tasty.
I always enjoy a moment to myself and this place always delivers with just the right placement. The service was excellent and the staff very pleasant.
Overall a great experience, service was a bit inattentive at times and it took too long to receive our drinks from the bar.
Amazing service, very very attentive!
I was pretty disappointed in the food during this lunch visit. It just didn't match up to previous lunches with the same entre.
I ordered the 405 roll and this time it's presentation just wasn't there. It just wasn't visually inviting that if never having it before, just didn't want to make me jump in and try it. AND, the albacore really tasted fishy. Maybe as it was the day after labor day and shipment hadn't been received, I don't know......but it was bad enough that i may not order that roll again.
I used my THANX free entree opportunity for the tempura caulifauer. There was honestly so much tempura batter that you wouldn't be able to identify the vegetable. The taste was just ok....not good or great. This is also the first time that I did not finish the appetizer. Sad....becuase it was free for me that day.
Good fun, excellent customer service and great location. We love to eat here and go often.
Overall Yokozuna is a nice place to eat. The steamed buns are wonderful, the spring rolls super yummy and the presentation is lovely. We were there for lunch and they were quite busy. Unfortunately the floor needed a good scrubbing. It was very sticky near our table.
WE always have great service here. The rolls are amazing. Our favorites are the Nutty Thai, pub roll, rising sun roll. You must also have the sweet potato fries. They are the best I've ever had. Good food, good service, comfortable place.
This is my preferred sushi restaurant within the Tulsa area. Great food, and great atmosphere.
Yokozuna has become a regular destination for dining for our business and our family! Great sushi and great service!!
Fathers Day! The food was great as always, but service was a bit backed up. Not slow enough to leave. We will return. Highly recommended for quality and value.
Love Yokozuna! It is my favorite sushi place in town. Perfect for a date night or special occasion. Casual enough for everyday dining. Amazing food and great service!
Service was great.. We arrived late at night and they were very accomodating. The food was good, but not anything to rave about.
Had a great experience. Server was very amiable and knowledgable of the menu and helped us pick our entree. So glad it is close to our home.
Table wasn't ready upon arrival.
Thought that's what reservations were for.
Great food for the $
Took my 14 year old daughter here for lunch because she is dabbeling in sushi :) She had the shrimp tempura and the california roll and loved them both. I had pork belly tacos. They were great. Everything was really fresh. Service was very friendly as well
Enjoyed the food.
It was good. Sushi was amazing...
Great food, great vibe, excellent staff.. Will Return!!
Food was excellent. Service was horribly slow with a waitress that keep out forgetting about us. Forgot to take our order, never got refills (had to ask the manager), and never came to take my money so luckily I didn't need change. Go to the downtown location, it's always great there.
Good thing I called the restaurant to change the number of people in the reservation: they never got the OpenTable reservation. I also requested to be seated in the main room, not in the little room off to the side. The little room is cold and ugly, and I would pay high dollars on the fancy food and have to be in that environment. The food was good and service as well. My favorite is Dilly Roll.
We had great service. The food was amazing-including the sweet potato fries. We had the chefs choice which was to die for.
Only one star for the food because I ordered the vegan curry and there was a piece of chicken in it. They said that it must of fell off another plate but it had the sauce on it. They were very nice about it and gave 2 free deserts. But when you are vegan and order a vegan dish you don't want to find meat in your food!!!
