Yokozuna - Downtown Tulsa Ratings and Reviews
Server misunderstood my order, bringing the wrong items initially then correcting. Problem with splitting the check. Put the full amount on one card and half on the other then disappeared for quite a while. Got that straightened out. Would go back, but get something other than sushi. CA roll was weird and nigiri not very fresh tasting
Delicious!!! I had the green curry and it was one of the best curry dishes I’ve had in a long time. My husband and son both had ramen dishes- son had the chicken and husband the skewered steak. Both were very happy. My youngest had the shrimp and chicken rice. It was a little too large for him to make a dent in (we didn’t see any kid options) but it was fine because we took the rest home and it was enough for the boys to split for lunch the next day. We will definitely go back next time we are in Tulsa.
Pork Belly Tacos were on point! They even offered me lettuce wraps without me having to ask! Took a minute to get drinks after we ordered them even though the restaurant wasn’t busy, however. Server also split the checks incorrectly, but all in all it was a great experience.
It was ok! One of the rolls was good. The other was so-so. The lighting is really bright, not the best for a romantic date. Also tables are very close together. Not the best for a date night. Not sure if I would return. But if so, I'd get the Volcano roll again!
Visiting Tulsa and I did some research regarding restaurants in the downtown Tulsa area and Yokozuna came up. Their menu listed some very unique sushi rolls so we decided to give it a try. I am so happy that we did, the food was excellent!
The Rising Sun roll was probably the most unique roll we have ever had! We also tried The 405 Roll, blackened ahi poki tacos and a My Ty. Everything was delicious!
Will definitely return here on next trip to Tulsa!
It was an off night. New bartender who didn't know how to mix a good, properly sized drink. When we sent it back because it wasn't enough, he clearly just poured water in it. Woman helping our waitress with delivery of food was surly at best. Management took care of us by removing said drink and giving us a gift card. Have eaten here several times and it was not an up to par experience. Appreciate the remedies, just hope this isn't an indication of things to come.
