First time. Loved everything about the experience. Thanks
Always a great place for fresh seafood! Wife is a huge oyster fan, and their happy hour for oysters is awesome. We ended up with 18 for $36. Very reasonable. Drinks were great (good rocks pours) and service was top notch. Servers work hard there and deserve good tips!
One comment...we've had the lobster rolls several times, and this time both (Maine and Connecticut) were a little underwhelming on the amount of lobster. Never truly noticed before...but maybe it's because prices are sky high now. Even so, a $29 roll shouldn't leave you questioning. But, the food and service is still great and we will be back!
Nice selection of entrees and the appetizers are excellent. Prompt service. Nice ambience.
We sat outside on the patio. Our waiter was very accommodating and helpful. Everyone enjoyed their lobster rolls. We shared their two desserts, which we all enjoyed. I will go back again to try some of their other items.
This restaurant was amazing!!
Excellent lobster roll and fish & chips. Wonderful tartar sauce too.
Amazing! Kelsey was great!
I am from New England and could not have been more pleased with the menu selection and quality of the seafood. We sat outside and it was very comfortable in the shade. For those avoiding carbs, all tacos and rolls can be wrapped in lettuce, love that! The alcoholic drinks were great too. What brought it all together was the outstanding service by our waiter.
Very expensive lunch but by far the best lobster roll I've ever had
Great food and services!
Excellent food and atmosphere. Loved it 👍🏻
The lobster roll, oysters, and Louie salad were horrible!! It was very very disappointing
Beautiful restaurant but $30 lobster roll with literally THREE pieces of lobster. I was starving after dinner.
Great place for lobster rolls. Chucks of lobster in the rolls. A bit pricey, but I don’t mind paying for good food.
Great food, service and ambiance!! Will definitely go again.
I had a wonderful time during my date night at Yo! Lobster. My fiancee and I thoroughly enjoyed our food and drinks. We found lots of good options on the menu and loved the atmosphere.
Nothing amazing about this Lobster Roll that makes it worth $30. The seating staff was pleasant as was the waiter. The french fries are yummy!
Nice people watching by sitting outside. Good place to go just to grab lunch but not amazing if you consider yourself a “foodie”
Restaurant needs the hand wipes for eating lobster
Every heard of a lobster restaurant without the lemon
And do NOT spray the tables nearby when diners present
Wipe with cloth first
Was told that was part of server training !!
The seAfood was good but for the selection and portion, it was over priced. Overall it was a decent experience
The food was delicious as always. Brandon, our favorite server is ALWAYS delightful & we adore him! On a good day the acoustics can be problematic for conversation. When there is a table of far too intoxicated people (5) carrying on a much too personal conversation at very a very loud level there is no opportunity for conversation.
Music (speaker system)is too loud. Restaurant AC was too cold. Food great. Waiter great too.
Great food…a little pricey.
This was our first visit to Yo! Food was very good. We had Dyno-mite Toast which was very tasty but had a rather skimpy portion of lobster. Fried shrimp was outstanding. - some of the best I have had in Dallas. Lastly the Dressed Tuna and Avocado. Very good - outstanding quality tuna and tasty (although my wife thought it was a bit too sweet). The Freshly made and seasoned tortilla chips were excellent as well. Fun casual, atmosphere . We will return to try other stuff on the menu.
Food was good but rather pricey.
Love the available now feature on OpenTable. We decided to celebrate at the last minute, which can be a real challenge in Dallas if you don't have a reservation. Yo Lobster had availability. The food was outstanding. The service was top notch. We'll definitely come back.
Excellent service. Food quality great. Corn elote is amazing. Cheesecake for desert - best in Dallas. Happy feeling in the restaurant.
Food and drinks were great. Our waiter Brandon was one of the better waiters we have had in the 14 years we have lived in Dallas (and I mean at any restaurant). A good example was when our son’s mac n cheese came out, Brandon noticed immediately that it was slightly overdone and a bit burned. Without us saying a single word or even thinking about it he said “this doesnt work for me. I am so sorry but thats burnt and im not allowing it. Give me a couple minutes and I will be back with a fresh one”
Overall good, but not great Father’s Day lunch. The food and drinks are definitely good. However, this place is charging a HUGE premium for the food they serve. $30 a lobster roll and $30 for a 1/2 dozen small (yet extremely good wast coast) oysters is almost robbery. I grew up in CT and the same lunch would cost maybe $20 total. I get the premium for being in Dallas and Highland Park but its a lot of money for what you get. I would also say that the lobster rolls (delicious) are very small by comparison to other spots in town.
The biggest complaint we had was how slow it was for them to serve our food. It took about 30 minutes for them to get 6 oysters out first. 6 oysters should take no less that a few minutes to get to the table if its a seafood restaurant that offers them on the menu. It took close to another 30 minutes to get 2 lobster rolls and a side of mac n cheese for our son to us. The speed needs to improve regardless if we were there on a holiday Sunday.
The food is very good overall. We had delicious ceviche and fish and chips. We ordered a lobster roll however, and it was very disappointing. $32 and very little lobster. We brought it to the managers attention and they comped our ceviche. Honestly, I’d go back and order anything but a lobster roll.
Great little seafood find in Dallas! Casual yet dressy and good enough for a dinner with a friend or a date night.
Great Boss chopped salad, the lobster rolls were good (Connecticut and Texas rolls) but not something we would go back for what we felt were over-priced for what they were. I think the menu is over-priced by $10 on their lobster rolls and a few other items, but probably because of the location. Hope they can stay in business because I don't know how many people would be "regulars" for the price of a seafood salad and a glorified (added condiments) lobster roll. I think this is a "one and done" dining experience or maybe I prefer an authentic roll with a fun twist on it just not over-priced for what it really is. Most other restaurants at this price point are a bit more upscale and seem to have a combined better ambiance, service, etc. like Cafe Pacific.
Second time there and very good however; a tad pricey for portions… $24 for half dozen oysters as an example. Still enjoyed though.
service took forever. drinks took a long time to arrive. appetizer took even longer. the chilled shrimp tasted fishy and not fresh. the burgers were both extremely undercooked— barely medium rare and dropped so much blood on the plate, it was gross. my wife sent hers back. took forever for server to offer us a second round of drinks
Really tasty - enjoyed being out in a good atmosphere as an adult on Sunday
Ambiance was wonderful, the choices for Sunday brunch was terrific, we will be back!!!!
I had the Maine lobster roll and it was delicious. Definitely I will go back.
Great food and service!!
We had a fantastic lunch at Yo Lobster! We were doing low carb so we forego the much raved about Lobster rolls. We ordered the Boss Chopped Salad and the Chopped Louie Salad with Lobster and both were excellent! The seafood was fresh and delicious! The champagne vinaigrette was perfect! It was nice dining on the patio...can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!
