   Yianni's is an experience like I've never had anywhere in Virginia. The atmosphere, wine selection, service, quality and flavor of food is outstanding. As a Las Vegas native, accessible fine dining experiences are cherished just as much as, if not more than, the tourist attraction placed dining. This established offered wine selections at every price point, for both the everyday wine drinker and more experienced connoisseurs. You don't have to pay an outrageous amount for a great quality wine, and Yianni's has the selection to prove that. The self-serve wine option is great for anyone looking to branch out from the noble grapes and experience a new wine profile. My girlfriend and I tasted 20 different wines in our visit and were never disappointed. The collection is curated to provide something for people of all different tastes. The food was worth every penny, and the creative menu options invigorated the palette with depth and diversity. From starters to desserts, each dish was formulated with care and consideration of complimenting flavors and textures. All ingredients were fresh, meats are aged in-house and sliced at order, and the bread is a family recipe. All of the staff were helpful and kind throughout our evening. You feel welcome and at home, and they can guide you through your food and wine journey with extensive knowledge. No one will come here feeling lost over wine verbiage or unknown food flavors. I would recommend this establishment to anyone, and encourage them not to be intimidated by walls of wine selections or international food ingredients. You can trust Yiannis with a new experience.

   We went there to celebrate our 25th anniversary because I enjoy wine. They didn’t disappoint. Bobby our server was phenomenal. Very helpful, attentive and went the extra mile to make our evening special (without knowing what we were celebrating). I will define back. The food was tasteful and the presentation was beautiful. My steak was cooked to perfection. Thank you for the great service and food.

   Requested a table, got a tall table with unpadded tall chairs. Was able to switch chairs. Noticed a table that went unused during our visit. That aside, the food and service were exceptional!

   Love this place. The sommeliers (Anthony & Josh) make it! Amazing wines. The food is good, the waitress service depends on who you get. But this is one of my standbys where I always bring friends & out of town guests. And once again I just love the service of the sommeliers! You go for the wine and the fantastic information from the sommelier, the food is an accompaniment.

   the very small yellowfin tuna special with two sides is worth 30-35$ at the high end. 60$ is absolutely ludicrous. The meatball special was amazing as always

    Great experience and restaurant, but make a reservation and be prepared to spend a ton of money. You can easily rack up a $100 wine bill with the charge cards if you’re not careful, and the entrees - while delicious - aren’t cheap. But it’s a great and unique dining experience, and I’m glad we found it. We will certainly go again!

    From the moment we walked in the door Yianni’s had a special vibe. We were greeted and taken to our seat in the wine room. Very intimate setting with just a few tables and then the center of the room was the wine on tap. Our waiter. Dion was excellent and made great recommendations. We also encountered Anthony, Josh and Bobby who were all fantastic, friendly, and made the evening a wonderful experience well worth the money. From the Waugoo beef appetizer to the crabcakes it was excellent all the way around. Beautiful presentations. We didn’t have a chance to enjoy the bar scene with Bobby, but we will definitely do that on another occasion. We will most certainly be back. Thank you for making it a wonderful date night for us.

    Went to Yiannis for my wife's birthday. The food was excellent, the wine was fantastic. The suggestions on both wine and champaign were superb. We had a wonderful experience, more importantly the wife had a wonderful experience.

    Nice spot, decent food and good service. When we left the restaurant our clothes smelled like we worked in the kitchen the whole night. The owner definitely needs to work on the smoke extraction of the restaurant

    We had a work dinner for a few of my out of town guests. The service, both from our server and sommelier we're outstanding. The food was just as good and so was the wine! Great spot for any occasion!

    Our server/bartender Bobby welcomed us immediately and gave us great advice and attention all night. His recommendations were on point, including his signature Old Fashion. We loved the ambiance and vibe of the place. The wine recommendations from the sommeliers were perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the lamb chops and filet, and the presentation. Next time we would choose something other than calamari for an appetizer. Terrific over experience with the entire staff providing enthusiastic service. We’ll be back.

    My friends and I had a great New Year’s Eve dinning experience at this restaurant. They were very accommodating. Although I made reservations for 4 I was able to add an extra seat incase another friend showed up. Every staff member we encountered were extremely polite and helpful. The manager even helped us while our waiter was busy with other customers. It was our first time there so the waiter and manager did a great job at explaining the cocktail menu and the food menu. The bartender brought our drinks to our table without waiting for the waiter to come get them. The food and drinks were amazing. The rock fish was our favorite. They also had a wine expert who came over and introduced himself to explain to us their wine club perks. The prices for the food were to good to be true,we got so much for our money. I plan to get a wine membership and introducing other friends to this restaurant 🤗

    We had the most delightful and fun dining experience at Yiannis on Christmas Eve. As usual, it was filled with happy diners and by end of the evening we were all chatting. Love it when that happens. Our server, Olivia, was excellent and so personable. Our meal was excellent: my husband had the lamb and I the Chilean sea bass. So good as was the app: Yiannis-made meatballs with an amazing bolognese sauce and fresh mozzarella. We topped it off with a wonderful 2018 Bordeaux. I’ll be back in to pick up another bottle soon! All in all, a wonderful way to celebrate Christmas Eve. We love Yiannis - don’t get there as often as we like but when we do it is always great.

    Thank you for seating us in the private wine room. The ambiance was amazing. Chef came in and checked on us, manager came by and deboned our fish for the ladies and our waiter Dominic was very attentive to our table. This has been one of many visits for us here. The restaurant is a total success. Will be back to see you all again. Happy Holidays and Happy New to all.

    Yianni’s never disappoints! The ambiance was perfect…not too loud, but sophisticated, lively, very clean & welcoming. Not only was the food delicious, but it was so beautifully plated by Chef Kevin, that I had to snap a few pics. Chef Kevin’s plating was probably some of the best I’ve seen. The service was also spectacular from hostess, Sissy, to server, Olivia, to maitre d, to wine sommelier, Josh…& of course Yianni himself. The team work & service at Yianni’s ensured we had a wonderful dining experience & a truly beautiful evening!

    Friendly and high service environment led by Yianni himself. Wine list is just a jumping off point----ask for a type of wine and they have a score of selections to choose from. Food is excellent and note that portions are large. Tucked away, but a gem worth finding!

    Food, service and wine was very good. Reason I did not give 5 stars was because the filet was over priced. It was a special that sounded very good when the waitress described it. I was anticipating a $50/$55 steak. When I received the check, it was $75!!! Steak was definitely not worth $75. If you are going to charge that much, wait staff should mention the price when reviewing the specials.

    Always love Yiannis - had not been there for Birger Night since they moved to their current location pre-COVID. It was delicious and delightful. Attentive service and good burger. Nice Wednesday night dining experience when you just want to relax.

    Friendly, neighborhood wine bar/restaurant that consistently overdelivers. Staff is friendly, abundant and helpful. Surrounded by wines that are fairly priced, with on site sommeliers to tickle whatever wine fancy you have. Food portions are larger than expected, and the "boards" are all winners....from appetizers to mixed grill. What a great place to relax and unwind!

    Wonderful gem of a wine/food bar just north of 264 and minutes from the Oceanfront! Knowledgeable, helpful service with an outstanding wine selection (and ask for selections off the wine list!). Anthony was an excellent and patient sommelier who brought choices out to select. He also gave the next table over a glass of a wine to try before buying (unusual but wonderful!). Food was excellent and the chef came out to check on how we liked our selection. Well worth visiting!
