Yen is set within the historic north rotunda building on the banks of the River Clyde. We serve Thai, Chinese & Japanese cuisine, have a fantastic selection of Oriental beers and an extensive wine selection enjoyed in relaxed surroundings. We are located directly across the road from the SECC, Clyde Auditorium and Hydro Arena. We have free parking for patrons.
Upstairs in the Oriental part of the restaurant there is a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
We serve a selection of Oriental beers in bottles and draught, and have an extensive wine selection.

Upstairs we serve Thai, Chinese & Japanese food, spicy Thai curries, healthy and tasty Japanese noodle dishes.

Usually love Yen,go to before all concerts. Booked well in advance on opentable and got a email the day before asking me to confirm my booking if I was still planning on going, confirmed and then got an email at 7.30pm that night saying that they could not honour our booking so lucky and surprised that we managed to get booked elsewhere but we met people who had phoned to book and got no warning whatsoever and were left with no where to go as everything was full.

Booked weeks in advance for a pre-concert meal and was called 3pm on the day of the booking to be told they couldn't honour it as the restaurant would be closed. They were aware of this in advance and should have informed customers before this.

Restaurant took our booking last april but we were advised the day before on the 4th june that it was closed for redecoration. I feel we should have been informed well before to make other arrangements as you plan redecoration work

This was booked weeks before the date and with less that 24 hours notice got an email to say my booking had been cancelled as restaurant was closed until further notice. Wouldn't have been so bad but the day before I got an email asking me to confirm I was still coming then I noticed a review 6 days earlier stating she had turned up to the restaurant to find a closed door. It was closed a week before the date I was going so why give less then 24 hours notice. By that time other restaurants in the area were all fully booked. Very poor communication!

Received an email at the last minute to say the restaurant was closed for the foreseeable future. I had received an email earlier that day to confirm I would still be going to the booking. Very disappointed at having to book somewhere else with less than a day’s notice.
