Yellowtail - Bellagio Ratings and Reviews
I'm going to try to keep this objective... but what a waste of money and we left hungry. Guys, at the very least you could have given us enough food to be full. Look at the pic I included - half pieces of sushi - really??
We had the chef's special tasting menu The price of $190 per person (including sake tasting) + tax and tip left us expecting much much more. This is not Kaiseki or Omakase. Second rate food at sky high prices.
Service was unremarkable. Views of the bellagio water fountain was great!
Yellowtail is delicious. We went here during CES and were told that they have a 2 hour max allotment. That was fine with our group of 6. The waiter offered us the "greatest hits" menu which is a sampling of the most favorite items on the menu. The food was fabulous. It only included 2 sushi options and the rest was cooked fish and meat. Still amazing though and we would order again!
We asked for a table with a view and were given one – overlooking the beautiful fountains of Bellaggio. My daughter has coeliac disease and they were great in accommodating her needs. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. It’s not cheap but brilliant for special occasions .
I came across another review recommending I go here. I couldn’t be happier to have made that choice. The staff is excellent and att wive without being overbearing, and extremely knowledgeable. The food was very good, and the atmosphere was better. We sat outside at the veranda and it was one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had. Sit outside and watch the Bellagio fountains, you won’t regret it!!
We had dinner here for our 2018 New Year’s Eve. Dinner was based on their fixed menu selection. The Tuna Pizza was awesome and after that everything was not so great. Everything was salty including our main Kobe Beef dish which taste like over cooked stew. The sushi roll had thinly slice tuna which look and taste like what you get from from your grocery store. The mochi were chewy. We had many fine sushi dinner and I would rank this place more like your neighborhood sushi restaurant with a great atmosphere and great service. Our bill for 5 totaled $959. A bit pricey for your neighborhood sushi.
I went there with my wife on new years eve. They had a special six course new years eve menu. Most of the dishes tasted great. Especially the starters consisting mainly of sushi and other raw fish dishes. The entrees were a bit so-so. The salmon was over cooked. I were to ever go back to the restaurant I would avoid the cooked food and stick to the raw dishes
My wife and I have only been to Yellowtail twice, but this has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants when visiting Las Vegas. It has a feel of elegance, but not extravagance. Inviting, even though it might appear exclusive.
Portions are moderate, but what they may lack in quantity, is certainly made up for in quality.
Personal favorites: rock shrimp, California roll, spicy miso soup.
Our last visit was Christmas night, used OpenTable to book in advance and got exactly the location of table I requested. Outdoor dining, right next to the Bellagio fountains.
Highly recommend this place.
The food was good....but otherwise the whole experience was a flop. The food was so overpriced - I’m from NYC so I get it and I expect to pay up for meals in Vegas but this was the most expensive and worst meal by far. I’ve had better meals at all of the other “luxury” hotels in Vegas (Aria, Wynn, Cosmo). The waiter was also so strange and awkward - numerous times he moved the food around on our table (why was he touching our plates after he served them!) and even once touched my back and pulled my jacket up over my shoulder (so uncomfortable!). He kept pushing certain plates towards my sister who specifically said she had a gluten allergy and doesn’t eat meat, dairy or shellfish but kept pushing the shrimp roll towards her! The food also came out so quickly - we order slowly in our family to enjoy the experience and ambiance and the waiter kept hovering over us and throwing our food out on the table as if he had somewhere to be. For what we wanted as an upscale/trendy Asian fusion meal overlooking the fountains after our show, turned out to be a rushed, awkward meal where we couldn’t even enjoy the conversation because of our hovering waiter.
The shared plates are great and some awesome items but the rolls were a bit disappointing. Not sure if it was the rice or the fish itself but weren’t so good. However the ambiance is great and service was excellent. If you go here stick to the hot and cold shared plates.
From the moment you walk in they make you feel welcome. The ambiance and decor seem to take over and engulf your senses. The culinary jewels that are presented are both beautiful and exquisitely Prepared. As you begin to devour the succulent treats the only distractions come from the majestic fountains of the Bellagio. With a magnificent view the dining experience is complete. Definitely worth the trip.
We Love Yellowtail! This is my second time to eat here. We requested a seat outside by the fountain and were extremely happy with the choice. It looks over the Bellagio Fountain. We ate amazing sushi and had the best view of the strip! Do not pass on the Salmon pizza appetizer or is my favorite thing ever! My mouth is watering now just thinking of it!
Yellowtail is, hands down, our favorite sushi restaurant in Vegas! The service is always on point, and the food is excellent (do NOT miss the cold appetizer Hamachi - it is amazing!!). On our most recent trip, the service really shined! Guy, our server, was incredibly polite, friendly and just a superior server than most we have had - I hope we get to sit with him again on future visits! Cheers!
This is our go-to-sushi restaurant when in Vegas. This visit was exceptionally great, friendly attentive service, great wine and food. We are never rushed at this restaurant... slow and enjoyable conversation while incremental orders of sushi. A must order is the tuna pizza... very thin cracker with thinly sliced tuna, truffle oil and micro greens. The truffle oil wafts up while enjoying this unique flavor of the crunch of the cracker and succulent tuna. The Juje domi will excite your palate with a whisp of chili oil on the plate. And, recommend the seafood dynamite is exceptional with a variety of seafood and sweet corn, to die for...
Yellowtail Dining Experience was awesome!
The Bellagio Fountain water/music show was great- we got lucky and had a table on the patio and the weather was perfect!
We enjoyed the food- wife had the Scottish Salmon dish and also a spicy tuna roll & I had the Kobe steak....
Mitkha (spelling? Sorry if wrong) took care of our table with superb service. She was great!
Definitely a must go Dining hot spot!
Wife and son enjoyed our meal. He loves Sushi and chose Yellowtail predominantly based on the fact we were staying at the Bellagio but were thrilled we did based on our wonderful experience. So enjoyable overlooking the fountain show. Service was spot on. Attentive without being overbearing. Would defiantly recommend for all types of occasions.
