Not much to say here. Very expensive for what we got. The quality was low, the menu was extremely limited. Chips we're good but the guacamole needed salt.
Some items were good like the Elote, but most weren’t worth it. A bit pricey for what you get. Drinks were sent back and service wasn’t the best. It’s a drinks and hang out spot. We expected a bit more but the atmosphere was really nice. Just won’t be going back any time soon.
Food was subpart, service was nonexistent. Won't return it recommend it.
I love YDT! Certainly a staple, and the pineapple cucumber margarita is unreal.
I keep coming back here, hoping that the food will one day surprise me, but I am consistently amazed by how bland it is. I remember having a mushroom taco once that was great, but the ones we had last night (tofu tacos and broccoli tacos) were incredibly boring and I needed loads of hot sauce to add any flavor. Vegetarian food needn't be an afterthought and this place makes it seem as such. Similarly, the salad was bland and underdressed. All this for a fairly expensive meal -- $60+ for two people who didn't eat a ton and only had a cocktail.
Amazing drinks and fresh food!!!
We sat outdoors, which is a nice space. The food was delicious. The service was great.
Nice restaurant, inventive cuisine in cool, up & coming location. Bit pricey for the food but it's Boston. And the quality of the food and drink was very good. Would have liked to have tried the broccoli tacos, but enjoyed the fish, duck, barbacoa, scallop, carnitas and chicken tinga.
The chips & guacamole were very good, again, $12 seems a bit on the high side but the chips were very good and the guac was very good and plentiful.
Will probably be back.
The space is amazing such a cute location. I loved the drinks I got the spicy margarita and it was delicious. The service could have been better.
Compared to the Dorchester location which we love, the south end location was an enormous disappointment. Service was terrible and the food was a disappointment. Multiple items on the menu were not available.
Nice friendly place. Prompt service. Elota was excellent. Worth it. Loud but ok.
The queso Carne tacos are to diiiie for. Everything else we got was great, too.
Gringo mexican but nice aesthetic and cute location, decent margaritas.
I live in Dorchester so I usually go to the Lower Mills location. Really enjoyed dining in the courtyard in the South End this time. As usual food and service were both great.
Food just ok. Good atmosphere. Good service. Nice outdoor area. Great margaritas!
The tacos are inventive and delicious. My fav is the chili duck. The guacamole is excellent. And their cocktails are delish. A delightful experience!
I like this place a lot for a casual meal, but my dinner was not great this time. The duck tacos were completely dried out, so it was almost like eating duck jerky. I am hoping next time is better!
Best margaritas in town! Loved the decor of the outdoor patio and the drinks were all amazing. There were not many options for food for vegetarians so I stuck with the guac and chips and street corn as my meal.
I really love Yellow Door when the vegetarian tacos are on point, sometimes they are amazing and sometimes they are really awful. I keep coming back because they have great service and I’m always hopeful their have been improvements or perhaps some consultation on what non-meat eaters are looking for in their tacos.
Great outdoor seating area and fun atmosphere. Excellent drinks. Most tacos we tried were underwhelming.
Great brunch, the people are super nice starting with the young lady (Jenna) who seated us. Thanks all.
Nice outdoor setting. Great food, and good music
I ate at the Dorchester location before COVID and LOVED it. So I was really disappointed with my experience last night in the South End. The fish taco was soggy. The tofu taco was bland. The beef taco was bland. My drink was all soda no booze. So the food was not at all worth it. The outdoor picnic tables and the vibe were great though.
Tacos were okay.. The fish and carnitas were good. Margarita was pretty bad…Seemed like pure margarita mix with no tequila. Servers were very nice. Quick service
Other than the lively scene, disappointing experience. Compared to the other location the foods and drinks fell short of the usually quality.
Prices on bill don’t seem to match menu.
The bathrooms could have been cleaner
Duck taco was soo delicious
Great ambiance but food was okay. Drinks were wonderful
Yellow Door is a FAVORITE! Great drinks, fun vibe, sweet staff.
This place is amazing! the food is delicious and the staff is so friendly!
Amazing food and drinks, service was really on point. The outdoor section was so cute. It started raining and the staff just managed with flying colors.
Everything was delicious! The fish tacos and the elote really stood out. Such a fun vibe in here!
Was a very good restaurant with good food.
Very cute restaurant with nice service but the food wasn't very good. The tacos were underseasoned and the vegetables were undercooked and cold.
Our server was lovely, but the tacos were very bland! They didn't have much seasoning or flavor to them at all and we didn't end up eating much of the wide variety of tacos we ordered.
Great food and drinks, great atmosphere, great service.
As always, delicious. Great drinks, chips, and tacos.
Have been a big fan of the original location and decided to try the one in the Ink Block. And while the food and cocktails were quite good, the service was not. First all of our food came before we even received our first cocktail. And since the entire order came out at once, much of the food was cold by the time we got around to eating it. Will wait until they sort out some of their service issues before returning.
Everything we had was insanely delicious! Guac with homemade chips, and those TACOS! The margaritas and the atmosphere totally transported me to somewhere tropical. We savored every moment and bite.
