   There was only one other couple in to eat as they were getting set up for the morning brunch (which I'm assuming gets busy). They didn't ask if we had a reservation we did, I told here once we sat down. Came back to refill coffee only once, (it didn't even get a whole teaspoon into the cup) so I needed a refill pretty quick, (sorry I'm used to big mugs to wrap my hands around). Food was fabulous though, definitely loved the sausage gravy and biscuits and hubbies regular breakfast was a full plate!

   Decor could use some cleaning - booths looking worn and a little dirty, light fixtures above tables very dusty. Food was OK, but it seems to have taken a decline since previous visits (goldfish crackers on the charcuterie board?), chicken sliders had a chicken nugget texture, fruit was mostly honeydew and limited. Service was decent and the servers were pleasant.

   The service was good, however the food was not worth the price. We ordered the rib eye, asked for it medium rare, it came out medium. The server offered to get us another one, he said it would just be a few minutes. however, 20 minutes later it came out, once everyone was done eating. It was not an enjoyable dinner at all. There are so many better options with good quality food for the same price or cheaper.

   We were looking forward to eating your brunch this past Sunday. However, it is not even a brunch, it is breakfast and honestly for 200$ for 4 guest not even worth it. Upon being greeted by our server the tables beside us all were asked how was it, ever table around us said it was terrible and for the price not worth it. At first, I just ignored what I heard maybe they just had bad experiences. Then we went to the buffet. First thing you notice it all brown, nothing eye catching. We eat with our eyes first and this was depressing. The Buffet had maybe 11 dishes : -croissants -cheese board with Brie cheese/white cheddar/ japleno as garnish and 2 thin bread sticks in each corner. This was all on top of salami I think -tomato soup, with fish crackers -grilled cheese -Caesar salad -sausage/bacon -tater tots -hash browns -Chico waffle -egg Benedict After looking at the option on the menu I could not believe what they called brunch buffet. Only 1 salad, no vegetables or fruit, no craving station or protein. I understand food cost is high but come on you have to do better than pre made croissant/tater tot’s. Also, it would be good idea to ensure working heat lamps and or warmers most the food was cold or luke warm. This also is not friendly to the following allergies: celiac, vegan, vegetarian. If you cannot accommodate stated it, be honest. If you are looking for breakfast at hotel arts that is less than desirable and your not looking for any wow food moments this is the place. Disappointment.

   Very disappointing brunch at $34.00 a person. The list on the website of what was supposed to be available on the buffet was not accurate. That aside, the food that was available did not anywhere meet the requirements of the price range. It all sounds good when reading the labels, but when eating it the quality was greatly lacking. Chocolate waffles were cold and so dry they were unedible. The croissants were dry, and had no flavor . . . just horrible! The scrambled eggs were watery and really cold. There was one salad which was a ceasar so drenched in dressing that it was a soggy mess. There were supposed to be hash browns but the warmer was empty during the entire time we were there. The steak eggs benny were very tasty but the warmer also sat empty for over an hour. When it finally came out of the kitchen we were long done our meal. Myself and my tablemate did go and get one each to try. When we began eating it mine was piping hot and my guests was not even luke warm . . . actually cold to touch! The best thing was the tomato soup,( which we both added sugar to which greatly improved the flavor ), grilled cheese sandwiches, and the tator tots with cheese and salsa. ( sounds like the lunch of a six year olds - lol ) The desert cart at 12:30 pm was virtually empty. We had a choice of jello, a dried out strawberry mouse square or a piece of brownie - which incidentally was cut up and placed repeatedly on multiple trays to create the illusion of many desserts. ( as if we couldn't see the obvious ) We also ordered cappuccinos which were horrible. They followed the theme of cold. There was no crema and the espresso was watery. How is this even possible? We did tell our server that the coffee's were not anywhere near servable. Not once were we asked how our meal was by our server! When we were ready to leave our busboy who started clearing our table asked what we thought? We politely said we were very disappointed, he replied he understood and agreed it could better!

    Food is pretty good but quite expensive. Service was fine, but could always use improving. Drinks are excellent, bartender nice. Hours could be extended and best to get rid of those two giant chairs and open up the space visually. Just a suggestion.

    We booked under the "Experience " Tab on the App. I'd say they really weren't even ready for us as a booked reservation. We were the only ones in the restaurant at 8:30 and the experience buffet didn't open until 9. When new tables arrived they placed directly beside us even though the restaurant was never completely full. Felt like they were trying to keep 2/3's of the restaurant unused and clean. Food was good, slightly cold, not as much variety as expected for priced experience. Will be awhile before thinking of repeating but better than most breakfasts that we have for options in deep SE suburbia.

    The server and kitchen worked with us to cater to specific dietary needs. Tenderloin tartar was excellent, as was the Duck main. Each dish (4 in total) was well prepared, and despite the modification to a couple of the dishes, flavourful.

    Yellow Door’s unique brunch remains one of the best in the City. It is not completely COVID recovered but certainly on its way. A gem and my favourite.

    Had a nice birthday dinner for my boyfriend. The service was professional and the food was delicious. My boyfriend's duck dish was great. The rest of our table had the vegan dumplings and they were delicious but only came with 2 dumplings per plate at a high price. We enjoyed how quiet the restaurant was with nice decor and jazz music.

    For that price there should actually be lobster in the Mac and cheese, not just a tiny tail. But the service was great and the other dishes were delicious, thank you!

    Absolutely AMAZING! Went and enjoyed a 5 course 5 star meal with 5 star service. Charm went above and beyond for service for my birthday. The food was incredible and probably some of the best food I have had in Calgary. Quinn (manager) greeted us upon arrival and made up us feel welcome and at home. Chef Cassandra personally came out to make sure everything was up to her standard and explained the incredible dishes that she and her team created. Food was abundant, flavourful and beyond expectation. A special meal for a special event. Highly recommended and looking forward to our next visit. We will definitely be asking for Charm when we return.

    What a fantastic experience, from atmosphere to the food, to the weird yet beautiful furniture. It was my mother's first time in almost 35 years of not cooking christmas dinner and my only want was for her to feel like it was worth it, and it absolutely was!! My only request is to offer more non alcoholic drink options, I would have liked to have drank something nice whilst my mother sipped fancy cocktails.

    Attended the Christmas dinner buffet with my mom who is slightly disabled, I got her food for her from the buffet first and then went to serve myself after. The man serving the prime rib gave me a really nasty look when I came back to fill my own plate after I got hers and made a comment about me getting seconds. It was really not nice; I had even mentioned to him the first time that I was filling my mom's plate and would be back. He clearly was not listening when I was there the first time. I would not buy $85.00 Christmas "buffet" tickets again over his look and remark. Our waiter was lovely, and the food was good though.

    Rather unique but delicious with some items not usual to a brunch buffet. Also some international dishes such as fried rice, stollen and a tender wonderful sirloin roast . There was some sort of turkey dish in individual casserole dishes which looked dry and unappealing There was quite a good selection of alcoholic beverages with great wintery names as well as juice and coffee. Charming server kept coffee replenished

    Food is great! I love this place for their buffet breakfast. However coffee that was served to us was cold but immediately gave us a new one when we told our server. We requested to be seated somewhere else but they said the table we wanted was reserved but there was no one came and used the table 😔
