   Mother’s Day dinner was another YDC success! Our server was Thomas and he did a great job. Our party of 3 had the Grilled Mahi, Potato encrusted Salmon and the filet. For dessert the table shared the Bread Pudding (which if you’ve never had it really is a MUST — and I don’t normally even like bread pudding but this is a gastronomic delight!) and the crisp/crumble (flavor tonight was apple and raisin). Thank you Chef Stuart, Thomas and the rest of the staff for a lovely dinning experience!

   As usual, our visit to Yellow Dog was excellent. We went for Mother’s Day lunch and everything was delicious. Our service from Simone was the best! We never felt rushed or neglected even though Simone had several tables to care for, we were very well taken care of. The view from the restaurant is beautiful!

   We were sat by 2 tables of approximately 10 people and couldn’t hear each other over them. There were at least 20 empty tables they could have sat us at…we later asked to be moved and were accommodated. The same server with the large tables was also our server and it took over 30 minutes to place our meal order. It wasn’t her fault as she shouldn’t have been given our table as well. But it was Mother’s Day weekend and we were taking our mothers out to celebrate so expected a better experience. The food was just okay. This was all surprising because I have come several times before and never had bad service or just ok (for the price) food.

   Not as good as usual. I ordered a Filet, which was good…but the potatoes and veggies that were served with the entree were cold—like they’d been plated much earlier than the steak. My wife’s Sea Bass (offered as an addition to the regular menu) was also a little disappointing. My caprese salad was great—also enjoyed dessert—so kind of a mixed experience. Not up to our past dining experiences at Yellow Dog.

   Once we were seated, no one came to our table for at least 10 minutes for anything. Therefore, we left and went somewhere else

    Love this place, I've been going to this place for over 30 years. Great food, exceptional desserts, cozy atmosphere. It's a little pricey however you get what you pay for.
