Alaways an amazing time with great food And great people with an unmatched wine list. A must dine in Atlanta!
We just moved to the neighborhood and this is our new favorite spot. The service is always excellent and so is the food. Their lamb chops are the best I have ever had. The people watching at the bar is always fantastic too. Great restaurant!
Waited 30+ minutes after reservation time to be seated, manager gave us each a complimentary glass of sparkling wine so that was nice. We were seated in a nice booth by windows but the overhead light was out, I mentioned this but apparently they didn’t have any spare to change it out. The whole room was a bit too dark for me, I like to see my food. The pork belly tacos were amazing but $14 for the Queso dip was a bit ridiculous in my opinion. Great service but it was very loud and they had the music turned all the way up. It just wasn’t for us.
We haven’t been in about 2 years. When we lived in Buckhead and we used to go once a week for about 3 months straight. The food and drinks were amazing. We went on Saturday night with 6 other people. 95% of the drinks on the cocktail menus are tequila and the food had no flavor. Such a disappointment. Also the air conditioning vent above our table dripped water all over my friends lamskin hand bag and in her coffee and dessert. The manager asked if he could buy her a drink for her trouble. Nobody wants a drink at the end of their meal especially if your driving home. How about comp anything that we ordered. Will not be back.
We happened to stumble across this place during the day when we were out walking around Buckhead. We needed a place to go while our 16yr old was at The Buckhead Theater for the Beach Haus concert! The food here was terrific and for those that like grilled octopus, i highly reccomend it, very tasty and tender! My wife had the grilled pineapple salad, although very tasty we felt it could have had more grilled pineapple! The main course for me was the Red Snapper, this was very good! My wife had the Steak al Pastor tacos these were good just a little on the dry side. The corn fritters a awesome too! The inside is beatifully decorated and from what we understand it changes every 6 months or so.
Fun spot for me and a couple friends to end up. Seasonal fare. Good drinks
Awesome service and delicious food!
Wonderful dining experience! We love the menu changes every season. So much fun and always delicious.
Birthday dinner was fun and relaxing.
I had dinner here for my birthday on Friday. We were running late from the rain but, the hostess was forgiving and able to accommodate us. The service was subpar honestly, we probably had every single waitstaff come to our table at various times which caused confusion with our orders. I could tell they were trying their best but, I expect a little more order and accuracy when I'm leaving with a $240 bill.
What I did especially love was the frose-must try, and I actually ordered the octopus 4 separate times because it was just that good. The indoor ambiance is also beautiful and would be great for a date night as well as groups.
I really like this neighborhood, under the radar place. The vibe is alive, the crowd mixed with everyone having a super dinner, the servers were friendly and informative and the food was outstanding. The shrimp tacos are a must have.
Will be back very soon !
I’m not a huge fan of the Mexican twist this summer. $14 for relatively flavorless shrimp tacos at a South African restaurant just doesn’t make a lot of sense. The ostrich sliders and bolting was great though. I love Yebo, but I don’t know if I’ll return this summer.
Okay here we go again new chef trying to blend South African and Tex- Mex flavors. Can we please have the old menu back it was so much better I'm sorry but this used to be one of my favorite places and I eat out a lot as you can see.
Ashley was our server, she was totally attentive and new the menu well. She was also very pleasant and just overall happy she was our server😃😃😃
First time and the theme was great as the Beach Haus...can’t wait to try the Ski Haus menu!!
CJ was great. Awesome service!
I love this place but they changed the menu significantly and it’s too Mexican, too heavy, too spicy. Everything tastes the same- not good. I’m really sorry since Ithis was my place to go to and I’m not sure I want to come back 😟
Bring back the old menu please!!!
Great, we really loved our dinner. Good drinks, good tapas, and great company.
Great atmosphere and food. Service was outstanding. Lots of girls groups there on Friday night- so it must be becoming a girls night hangout. Was loud and pretty expensive for tapas to me.
Loved Yebo Beach House.. The decor is fresh and summery. The servers were all very nice and the food was delicious. This summer they have a South African/Mexican style food and it is all amazing and unique. We love that we can share plates and yet still have some of our own favorites. Can't wait until the next time.
The food was wonderful. We shared several small plates and each was better than the first. Every plate ended up empty! The service was phenomenal from the valet to the hostess to the wait staff. Attentive in just the perfect amount.
A very cool place with great food. We tried several dishes but can highly recommend the tuna and the corn fritters. A great place for date night.
We wanted to like Yebo, but the food didn't hit the mark. Chewy octopus, rubbery ceviche, and bland appetizers. We didn't finish any of our plates, and left early to visit another restaurant for entrees. I don't mean to bash - but this was our experience. Maybe they had a night off, as the restaurant was very crowded, so they're doing something right. It just wasn't for us.
Delicious food and drinks. Going back!
Nice experience but very loud restaurant!
Yebo is my favorite restaurant in Atlanta, but I was extremely disappointed to get there and then find out that they have completely changed their menu from the South African food they have always had to Mexican food for the summer. If I had wanted to eat Mexican, I would have gone to a Mexican restaurant. We chose to go to Yebo specifically for the food that they always have on their menu. I do not plan on going back until they change their menu back to their normal South African menu. If they want to “travel” to a new beach each summer, they should have a few specials from that region, but not completely swap out their menu.
My husband and I both LOVE Yebo! So good! Great service!
Most excellent! Love this place...the atmosphere, food and service are excellent😍
Great spot for my Wife's Birthday!!! Service, Food and Drink were top notch!
The host service was good start. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and explained the restaurant theme well. She tied in the other restaurants Biltong Bar and Cape Dutch, we've also visited recently.
The tequila flight with sangrita chaser was nice! The ceviche was the best I've ever had. The bobotie chile relleno dish was a great finish.
My wife has the El Diablo cocktail and enjoyed. She ate the red snapper, which was seated to perfection. She finished with the mango sorbet dessert.
Overall great time!
By far, best restaurant in ATL. Was recommended by a friend and had the best experience! Our favorites were the mussels and scallops but everything we tried was so good! Really beautiful presentation
New waitress. She needed a bit more training. But we would definitely go back!
This was a dinner to celebrate our honeymoon and we ended up adding to our reservation with a few great friends. The hostess didn’t bat an eye and even made n incredible table on their patio available immediately. Highly recommend for great service, incredibly fresh menu and crafts drinks. Did I say wine!!!!
We just moved to Buckhead and wanted to check this place out. It was great! Upscale fun vibe with great food and drinks. The lamb chops were perfect! Melt in your mouth good. We will be back!
We ordered the wings, octopus, kale salad, and shrimp tacos. Food was overall very, very disappointing. Tacos were ok at best, and the the kale salad, which realistically is very hard to screw up, was tasty. Won't be going back.
Great experience, highly recommend the Paella shared for 4 people. All the food was very nicely presented and delicious. The staff were very friendly and service was terrific.
GREAT patio. Gorgeous night. Food was terrific as usual.
this was our first time eating there. My husband and I were in Atlanta for a few days and took a chance to have dinner at this restaurant. We were not disappointed! I have had tapas at other dining facilities but this is the first time I had a tapas that was exploding with flavor. Every bite was memorable and delicious! The flavor profiles were Amazing! We had the chayote squash, corn fritters (this was the only thing that didn’t quite measure up as they were very dry) scallops, pork belly tacos (YUM) and steak & pineapple tacos (delish). For dessert I had the hazelnut cake with had a hint of spice. It was perfect!
It's a lovely spot, but I miss the old South African-inspired menu. It's now kind of an upscale Mexican menu, and that's just a lot easier to find, making this place less special than it had been.
