Y Bwyty Bach is the new restaurant from highly-renowned chef Connor Turner. Set in a converted two-centuries'-old barn opposite the iconic Tretower Castle, Y Bwyty Bach is a short drive from the picturesque town of Crickhowell, where Chef Connor grew up.

Having mastered his trade across some of the best restaurants in South Wales, Chef Connor's taken the decision to launch his own venue, offering his own vision and passion for food and destination dining. Through the best produce our local suppliers have to offer, the regularly changing menus are designed to provide our guests opportunity to try as much as possible through small and large plates - whether they're sharing, or not sharing. Six-course taster menus are also available for those searching for the full Y Bwyty Bach experience.

Unlike dinner and Sunday Lunch, we don't take reservations for Lunch Tuesday-Saturday, so please walk-in and we'll be sure to find you a table.

Restaurant and staff very nice, some dishes from the taster menu was really good, some not that good Had higher hopes for a special meal. Also found it really pricey for what it was in comparison to where we usually dine when wanting a treat

The whole experience was superb, from the setting, the ambience, service and last but certainly not least, the food, which was tantalisingly tasteful. All very special indeed.

Beautiful boutique restaurant in scenic rural setting. Absolutely delicious food and wonderful service. Very good value, too. Will definitely be back.

This was a wonderful experience and was incredibly atmospheric. The staff were lovely, extremely knowledge and accommodating to our specific dietary requirements.

Exceptionally good, high-quality food in a historically modern atmosphere. Extremely friendly and courteous service staff. All in all, a thoroughly recommendable culinary experience. Thank you Ybwytybach!

The starters we good. Vegetables with the main course were fresh and plentiful. However, roast pork was not pleasant at all and roast beef was extremely rare - even for my rare-loving husband. Vegan daughter had no protein content - not a nut or bean in sight- one of the reasons we chose restaurant was because vegan menu looked good but obviously not the case for Sunday lunch (we did forewarn that we had a vegan diner!). Staff were all lovely and discretely attentive.
