YAYA is a term of endearment for grandmothers all across Mediterranean and Latin American cultures. Originating in Greece, the name evokes a sense of home, comfort, and generational passed-down wisdom and traditions – like cuisine.

YAYA connects Chileno Bay’s Latin American DNA with a European culinary heritage– Greece, Italy, Spain, and Portugal all come through in the flavor profiles represented in this new epicurean experience, making YAYAs everywhere proud.

The equivalent of a comforting embrace, the familiar yet elevated culinary ethos at YAYA is drawn from the flavours of home. Our server, Rodolfo, was incredible! He provided impeccable, personalized service, excellent recommendations, and all of the food and wine he suggested were perfectly prepared. They were very accommodating with our food allergy and it was a stellar meal. We will be back!

Claudio, our waiter, was excellent. Attentive, charming, professional. The food was excellent, and the ambiance created a very special evening.

The restaurant is beautiful. The indoor/outdoor vibe is impeccable. The food was good to average depending on the dish. My wife’s kebab was well cooked but my lamb shawarma was so sour it made it one note. The gem salad we received also did not have bacon in the dish though it was in the description.

First visit this season and pleased to report that things have not changed and remain an excellent choice for a casual evening. Chef Eliana and the wait staff do not disappoint. Our waiter Kiko was excellent on point and provided excellent service.

Spectacular dishes with quality ingredients. Flavors are balanced and wonderfully fresh. When visiting Chileno Bay we eat here at least 3x during our short visit.
