Great service. We loved there cocktails and had some great Mediterranean wines. Food was great!

I was rather disappointed in the meal. The charred eggplant and other dips as well as the pita were fabulous. But the rest of the meal disappointed. The food was overly salty, and the salmon, while tasty, was hopelessly overcooked. Unfortunately we did not see our waitress from the time we ordered until the time we paid the bill so we're unable to tell her that we were disappointed in that dish. Overall it was fine, but not worth what we paid for it and we will not return.

This was our third visit and we try and stop by whenever we are in Chicago now. (We live in Florida) The last two times we were staying in the hotel next door but this time we were in the South Loop, but still made the trip across town. The service is always friendly and accommodating although it is nicely relaxed so we can enjoy the meal without feeling rushed. The food is tasty and well prepared and presented with plenty of variety, remembering the Mediterranean theme of course. There’s even a happy hour with modest discounts on a range of drinks. So arrive early enough to take advantage and enjoy!

What a truly beautiful and unique ambiance! I brought my parents here for my mom's birthday, and they absolutely raved about the outstanding food (make sure to get the kebabs!) and overall experience. What really set it apart was the exceptional service; the manager personally checked on us and, upon learning it was my mom's birthday, surprised us with a delicious rice pudding dessert. We'll definitely be back – this is easily a new favorite in Chicago!

The service was good. Appreciated the service at the bar. The Heirloom salad and grilled octopus were good. I also ordered the lamb shank and that was quite disappointing as the lamb was way over cooked. It’s a pity because flavors were there.

Overall, the food was excellent. I'm Greek and I can tell you this was one of the best octopus dishes I've had. Perfectly charred and seasoned and very tender. Only the best restaurants can get octopus right. Their version of Greek salad was also very good. And the pizza bread was excellent as well. I would definitely be back here again to try some of the other dishes.

Yasemi brings a modern Mediterranean experience to life with a menu full of vibrant flavors and beautifully presented dishes. The food is undoubtedly the highlight here—fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully composed. Every plate we tried reflected a well-balanced approach to seasoning and authentic ingredients that elevate the overall dining experience. The cocktails were also a pleasant surprise—well-crafted and complementary to the cuisine. However, the service leaves room for improvement. Even during less busy hours, there was no host or hostess in sight to greet or seat guests, which created a somewhat awkward start. Once seated, the servers were polite but lacked the kind of energy and engagement that can make a meal feel memorable. A bit more warmth, menu guidance, and enthusiasm would go a long way in enhancing the guest experience. That said, the runners deserve credit for doing an excellent job—efficient, attentive, and clearly in tune with the pace of the dining room.

The service was really slow last night. Took forever to even just get water. The pita and the spreads were the highlight of the meal. The lamb was overcooked and our server forgot one of our dishes completely and didn’t even remember it whatsoever. Overall would not go back.

Our experience at this restaurant was deeply disappointing and exemplified a stunning lack of hospitality. Service was virtually nonexistent — our server appeared only when we physically sought her out, leaving us unattended for the majority of our visit. After two hours, during which we were finally able to order a last round of coffee and cocktails, a person identifying herself as the manager abruptly informed us that we had reached a “two-hour limit” and needed to leave. This might have been understandable in a busy establishment, but the restaurant was completely empty. Rather than thanking us for our business, we were met with rudeness and a clear desire to have us out the door. If this individual is representative of the restaurant’s management, it speaks volumes about the overall operation. Having dined extensively across Chicago for business, I can confidently say there is nothing distinctive or worthwhile about this venue. The service was inattentive, the attitude unwelcoming, and the experience utterly forgettable. I would strongly discourage anyone from visiting.
