The service was good. Appreciated the service at the bar. The Heirloom salad and grilled octopus were good. I also ordered the lamb shank and that was quite disappointing as the lamb was way over cooked. It’s a pity because flavors were there. Lastly, I was there on a Wednesday and was suppose to be 1/2 off bottles of wine, which was not applied to my bill. Costed me an extra $30.

Overall, the food was excellent. I'm Greek and I can tell you this was one of the best octopus dishes I've had. Perfectly charred and seasoned and very tender. Only the best restaurants can get octopus right. Their version of Greek salad was also very good. And the pizza bread was excellent as well. I would definitely be back here again to try some of the other dishes.

Yasemi brings a modern Mediterranean experience to life with a menu full of vibrant flavors and beautifully presented dishes. The food is undoubtedly the highlight here—fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully composed. Every plate we tried reflected a well-balanced approach to seasoning and authentic ingredients that elevate the overall dining experience. The cocktails were also a pleasant surprise—well-crafted and complementary to the cuisine. However, the service leaves room for improvement. Even during less busy hours, there was no host or hostess in sight to greet or seat guests, which created a somewhat awkward start. Once seated, the servers were polite but lacked the kind of energy and engagement that can make a meal feel memorable. A bit more warmth, menu guidance, and enthusiasm would go a long way in enhancing the guest experience. That said, the runners deserve credit for doing an excellent job—efficient, attentive, and clearly in tune with the pace of the dining room.

The service was really slow last night. Took forever to even just get water. The pita and the spreads were the highlight of the meal. The lamb was overcooked and our server forgot one of our dishes completely and didn’t even remember it whatsoever. Overall would not go back.

Our experience at this restaurant was deeply disappointing and exemplified a stunning lack of hospitality. Service was virtually nonexistent — our server appeared only when we physically sought her out, leaving us unattended for the majority of our visit. After two hours, during which we were finally able to order a last round of coffee and cocktails, a person identifying herself as the manager abruptly informed us that we had reached a “two-hour limit” and needed to leave. This might have been understandable in a busy establishment, but the restaurant was completely empty. Rather than thanking us for our business, we were met with rudeness and a clear desire to have us out the door. If this individual is representative of the restaurant’s management, it speaks volumes about the overall operation. Having dined extensively across Chicago for business, I can confidently say there is nothing distinctive or worthwhile about this venue. The service was inattentive, the attitude unwelcoming, and the experience utterly forgettable. I would strongly discourage anyone from visiting.

Came here with family. I am vegan and the others are not, so it was great that Yasemi was able to accommodate all diets! The waiter was great, the food was amazing, and it was a great start to a family visit!

This is the BEST restaurant we have been to in CHICAGO , the food , the service the atmosphere was outstanding, lucky for us our we had a fabulous server her name is Annie the sweetest and kindest everything she recommended was on point and delish , My husband and I are a foody and the service we have received in this place is Top notch.

The spread of dips were fantastic, absolutely incredible. The potato mezze had a weird after taste to it: maybe the oil in which it was fired had to be changed. The kebabs were decent however the chicken was over cooked.

No one was assigned to our table or others patrons that we’ve spoke to. It took over 20 minutes to flag someone down to take our order. Fortunately the food and drinks were excellent. Hopefully their service will improve.
