Yardley Inn Restaurant and Bar
Nestled along the Delaware River in bucolic Bucks County, the Yardley Inn is a great place to enjoy waterside dining near Philadelphia.
Seared Diver Scallops
mascarpone risotto, charred corn, sweet cubanelle peppers, garden beans, citrus beurre blanc
Great food as always, great service!!!
Beautiful place, wonderful service, food was amazing! Will absolutely return again!
Great meal and drinks. Sat outside which was a little hot but overall it was great.
Great meal at the Yardley Inn the other night with a group of six. Every meal was very good, salads were delicious and drinks as well. Had two of the half price bottles of a nice red wine and our server couldn’t be nicer and more efficient
Consistently good food!! Beautiful view of river as well❤️
Waited 45 mins for table. Told the only table was directly in front of guitar player.
Hostess was not accommodating and told us even though we had a reservation we should still expect a wait. Server informed us that ALL of the specials for that evening were gone and proceeded to tell us how wonderful they were even though we couldn't have any. Some of the menu items were all gone as well. Very fair food, service and atmosphere.
Always good every time we go, food and service is consistently good!!
Not as good this time for lunch as the last few times. Very disappointing. Especially bc it is not an inexpensive lunch.
Coffee was cold and had to wait for new cup. Same sandwich as last time...and this time chicken was too dried out and cold. Requested French fries in substitution for mashed potatoes served with the meatloaf and that request was forgotten. The fries on the other plates were pieces and over cooked anyway. Bacon around the meatloaf was raw and not edible. Pulled it off and left on the side of the plate.
Waitress was sweet and wanting to please. She may of had too many tables.
However...the crab bisque soup is the best ever and keeps me coming back!!!
Great place great service awesome food
Another fantastic dinner at YI. We tried the Pork Shank and the Veal Chop and they were both oitstanding
Wonderful experience! Amazing waitress Kaitlyn!
Seated immediately upon arriving. Food was delicious and we had good service.
Nice place and view of the river. Food was pretty good, but our room was pretty cold. I don't think they have heat in the room by the river. Not a fan of sauce on a filet mignon. It was pricey for the quality.
Terrific restaurant. Food is great, and service was top-notch!
Fabulous experience, as usual!
My date & I liked the Yardley Inn. It was elegant without being stuffy and I liked the colonial decor. The waiter was top notch, very attentive, and answered our questions and made a recommendation graciously. The appetizers, entrees, and desserts were all superb. At the end of the meal, the tab was lower that I anticipated. I want to dine at the Yardley Inn again.
Great food. Got lemon chicken. Sat near window facing river. Very nice ambiance. A little loud near bar but it was Friday night. Will Def go back.
the trout was amazing...and the service was top notch...not intrusive...nice job
Another enjoyable evening at Yardly Inn. We all had the sea bass which was well prepared. (Although my wife thought her's was a bit it over cooked. The vegetables and potatoes with the dish were wonderful. The bread with the meal was a bit crusty, more like it was a tad old than intended that way. Service was excellent.
Enjoyed a lovely date night. Our server was excellent - very attentive and checked in often.
Cocktails are first rate. Very ambitious menu that doesn’t meet the standard it sets for itself. I have eaten here many times over the years. I have found it can be very good at times, and very pedestrian at others. Lovely setting. I think it is best for lunch. The salads are excellent and the view is lovely
Always satisfied at YI because there are very good choices for lunch, the food is very very
I was pretty disappointed with the portion of food as well as the slow service
They had a modified menu for Valentine's Day, which was not advertised on their website when I originally made the reservation, so selection was more limited than usual. Their side dish served with the salmon was gritty and not at all flavorful (and I think it made me a little sick to my stomach). The waitress never refilled nor offered to refill my date's iced tea, even when she brought the sweetener and noticed that the glass was almost empty. Really not worth the expense and a disappointing experience overall.
Went here on Valentines Day. Not only did they not attempt to honor my request which was made upon making the reservation, but they called twice to confirm and repeat the request. They really squeezed in as many tables as they could into a small space by bringing in outside furniture inside. We ate at the smallest table that I have ever seen, but still could hardly hear each other. Very loud and and cramped experience.
It was our first time visiting this restaurant we always drove by and wanted to try. Food was amazing ! Shoutout to the chef for a delicious Sea Bass!! Service was excellent and fast we definitely will come back again !
Went for dinner on Valentine’s Day. Was good but not quite as good as previous visits. I had salmon which was OK but it came on a bed of smashed pea risotto. That sounded OK but was so heavily spiced with mint that it wasn’t good. My wife had a filet which was better.
We shared something that was called a trilogy for dessert but it was only two things. Didn’t ask why but kind of funny.
When we arrived they tried to seat us at two less than desirable tables initially; the third was OK. I noticed a couple was seated a bit later at the really small table they tried to seat us first and they took it. I felt a bit bad for them because I overheard and saw what they ordered and they were pretty extravagant. They should have been treated better. There didn’t seem to be any rationale for this, there were empty tables available that were decent size.
It wasn’t like we were bums or the other couple either we were dressed properly for dinner. Anyway I do like the place normally not that we go every week but this time they were a bit disappointing to be honest.
Yardley Inn has always been the go to place for class, ambiance and great food. We were blessed by having a fantastic server by the name of Nicole. She was extremely knowledgeable and courteous and just a fun person to grace our table. My wife's steak was just a little tough and rarer than she had hoped for but all in all...it is a great place to have a romantic dinner.
When we arrived I did not like the table due to the fact it was adjacent to the hallway leading to the entrance and the cold air hit us every time the door was opened. We asked for another table an were immediately placed in a cozy little corner away from the draft. Our reservation was for 4:30 pm but the service seemed slow for that time of the day. Maybe due to Valentines day. Our server might have been new or not attentive since he was not familiar with the drinks we asked for and one was wrong and had to be returned. When the replacement came it was lacking ice so I had to take some out of my water glass. The bill had to be redone since we were charged for the wrong drink that was returned. The food was excellent but I thought a little overpriced. All in all we did have a pleasant dinner.
We eat at the Yardley Inn every few months. We particularly enjoy the Beer and Burger night on Wednesday's. The Thai Chicken Burger is unique and excellent. This time we also has the Patty Melt which I believe is new. Please continue to innovate the menu. We are local and really enjoy eating here!
We dine at Y.I. Every week and LOVE the food, wine list and FABULOUS employees at the restaurant!!!
We especially enjoy dining on Monday’s because of their 1/2 price wine by the bottle weekly event.
Food is always excellent and the specials are varied and superb.
We’ve tried almost every other restaurant in the Bucks County Princeton area and our favorite restaurant is the Yardley Inn.
Food is always wonderful, consistently made to perfection. Cozy atmosphere and very friendly professional staff! We love it!
It’s a Favorite!
Omg...crab bisque...you must! Amazing. That’s what dreams are made of.
The whole experience was wonderful! The food was absolutely excellent and they were very accommodating with my dairy allergy. Our server Nancy was so polite and lovely. The ambiance was very comfortable and delightful overlooking the river. I can’t wait to go back!
We loved having dinner at the Yardley Inn. They had live music and our server (Kevin) was excellent and so were the other staff members -- all were very courteous and helpful. The food was great too!
Good food, service, selection and location. Valet parking is another plus, especially on a cold, rainy night.
Dinner and drinks were great!
We came at lunch time with reservations. The girl was very busy up front and it took awhile to be seated. We sat by the fireplace which was nice for two minutes then we were cooking from the heat. The table was way to close. I’m sure to fit as many people in as possible but no one can sit that close to a fireplace and not get overheated...would have been lovely if far enough away. Our waiter was excellent but busy, fortunately we had time to wait on this particular day.
Always an excellent place for lunch, great food, good service at a good price.
I love the relaxed atmosphere and friendly (consistently good) service at Yardly Inn Restaurant and Bar. Delicious food! I have been to this place many times and highly recommend it. Great view of the Delaware river. Excellent for family events and business meetings.
