We made reservations for St Patrick's Day after seeing their special St Patrick's day menu advertised. We had a 7:30 reservation and when we went to order were told they had no more corned beef and cabbage. Couldn't believe it. Was obviously too late to leave, but we wanted to. Inexcusable. We ordered from the regular menu and our meals were just OK.
Server was very good but made an error on by bill. I was charged for 2 extra drinks and I did not get an appology.
Service and quality of food is consistently outstanding!
Servers were very friendly and helpful. The "inn" ambiance is very nice and the view of the Delaware. Food was very good as well
Visited for the first time for Sunday Brunch. Great experience. Generous portions. Service was very good. Would definitely recommend and come back again.
Enjoyed dinner!!! Food was delicious and waiter (Chris)was super.
CELEBRATED MY WIFE'S BIRTHDAY ON SATURDAY , FOOD AND SERVICE WERE GREAT, WE ALSO LIKED MIKE MEAD THE SINGER, HE PLAYED A GREAT SELECTION OF MUSIC
Good food great waiter excellent restaurant
Went to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Special birthday menu for the table. Slight mix up on the wine orders but overall a great time! Food was delicious and so was dessert! Will return!
Will definitely go back. Lovely atmosphere & great meal & service!
We went for Sunday brunch to celebrate a birthday. Drove an hour to get there. Food was disappointing. No one finished their selections. View of the river was lovely, but the noise level in the room made it difficult to converse across the table. Perhaps brunch is not their strong suit.
Didnt like the menu. Main course choices were ok, but sides were odd. Tuna tartare good but more onion and tomato than tuna. Husband didn't like his filet, it was tough. My cavatelle was homemade but very dense and chewy. Sauce was tasty. Have only been there for lunch once before and I don't recall how it was. We dine out weekly and will not be returning. However, the service was excellent.
Good food, but less than optimal service. Service was very slow and our server missed getting our table a second round of drinks. She also forgot to bring coffees after they are ordered. Filet is very good and duck was above average.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Yardley. We started with the crab bisque which was crab-filled and very flavorful. My main entree, the salmon, was one of the best I've ever had. My husband's filet was prepared perfectly and the sides were also delectable. Our server couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. The entertainment that night was Jonathn Ashe and he was absolutely fabulous. Fun and very entertaining. Great night!
Great atmosphere with views of the Delaware River. Food was excellent and the prices were good. Our waitress Courtney was very attentive and friendly. Our menu was personalized for our anniversary, an extra special touch. Would highly recommend and will be a returning customer. Thanks for making our day special!
As always, we had a wonderful experience at the Yardley Inn for our monthly Girls Lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant was very busy but our server Sandra was very attentive and catered to our every whim! This is our favorite spot for almost any occasion!
Probably amazing view of water (we came at night).
Clean (you could probably eat off the floor)
Good noise level (not too quiet, not too noisy).
Food was very good, not fantastic, but above average.
Beer list was extensive.
Waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.
My fiance left happy.
Much like everyone else has said to me, many of whom have stopped going there, the portion size (bang for buck) was just not there. I ordered the fish stew. It was good, but the portion size was laughable. I've ordered the same dish in other restaurants, and it's double the size, for the same price, and you get a bread or a starch with it. We didn't have anything, nor were we offered any. My dinner was a stew (soup if you would), with nothing to enhance it. If bread was an option, awesome, but we were never asked if we wanted it.
The appetizers were good, but again, we didn't feel like we got our bang for our buck. 4 deviled eggs for $8.00. That's two eggs, cut in half. Good, but way too small for what we paid. Perogies/Dumplings (don't remember), again, 5 count, small, not impressive, decent, but again, underwhelming. You get 6 of the same thing at the local Chinese takeout for $6.00 and they are double the size. Not saying they are the same thing, but it's dough and filling. Plump them up a bit, or at least give 6, so each person gets three. I have no idea why 5 would be an option. Makes no sense, and I've said the same thing to other restaurants I've been to.
It is a very nice place, set in a very attractive area, with plenty of parking, and tons of menu options. The food good, the place is immaculate, and the staff is friendly. It's not a place to go to if you're a guy with an appetite. So if you play sports, go to the gym, or don't get out much, and are looking for a feast, this isn't it, but I can see where this would work for the the marker/clientele they probably attract. :-)
Great food and service
Great sandwichs! The restaurant's only negative is the noise level which makes socializing next to impossible at times.
The menus is not static, but the favorites are there with a new and interesting (and good) twist. Location is great...AND AND THE SErVICE has always been OUTSTANDING! Interestingly, the beef is the best in the area, and that is unexpected because of the varried menu. But as all of the food is great not really unexpected! WE love the local sustainable aspects of the menu. Ask for upstairs for a special occasion party.
The Yardley Inn is a very comfortable charming historical restaurant. It is located across from the Delaware River an many tables have views. I have been here many times and often bring guests.
We were celebrating the birthday of a friend who will be 102 next Wednesday. Andy was our server and she was very attentive and efficient and pleasant as always. We had a very enjoyable lunch
My friend and I went for lunch. They have a very good fixed price lunch menu. The lobster bisque was fresh. The salmon on our main course was cooked perfectly. The service was very good. This is an overall favorite restaurant when meeting friends for lunch. Have never been disappointed.
We had an excellent meal Sunday night. Halibut and buttered cabbage. Amazing. Service was fantastic. Couldn’t ask for more. Also had a fabulous wine recommendation! Thanks Michelle.
The food, ambience, and service were superb! My date had the Caesar salad, filet mignon, chocolate oatmeal cookies, and two porters. He enjoyed all of it, and especially appreciated the rare cook on the steak. I had the green salad, salmon, tiramisu, and a glass of rosé. The greens were fresh, the beets were roasted to a slightly sweet perfection, and the salmon was nice and flakey. I wish I could have finished the tiramisu but, alas, the portions were generous (no complaints) and left us full to the brim. I would absolutely recommend Yardley Inn for any occasion, whether it be a date or a friendly gathering.
Seated timely at table requested. Wait staff attentive and friendly. Food was delicious, especially the avocado toast. Vanilla Martini was amazing.
Usually have dinner here. Went for lunch on Sat. Sat at bar. Christie , as usual , was terrific. Great mixologist and very knowledgeable. Food at lunch is awesome as is dinners. Service is impeccable always. All we missed was Christie’s partner, Frank. Unbearable mixologist team.
Menu selections are delicious and versatile. No bad choices here. Our very favorite spot for food, drinks, etc.
We had a wait for our bottled water. We had 2 severs attempt to pour the tap water but my date politely told them we wanted bottled sparkling water. After a long wait, my date became agitated. I did my best to distract him and the night happily progressed well.
My friends and I love the Yardley Inn and go there often. Food is always delicious and their lunch for less menu with three courses is a bargain.
Our third trip. The crab bisque was the best I can remember. Both entrees were excellent and the portions ample. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the meal and the broader dining experience. Hope to return soon.....
Food was terrible this time. We won’t return until they have a better menu with better selections.
Thoroughly enjoyed our Valentine's Day lunch here!
The river view, food, service, atmosphere were all super!
Good service and wide selection in food and drink. Many daily promotions and special events make this a good place to frequent. Prices are reasonable and the service always accommodating.
Birthday brunch with the family. It is a menu brunch, not a buffet, which in our books is a a good thing. The menu options were creative and the two entrees I sampled were tasty. On the downside, the bloody marys were extremely hot, but otherwise had no flavor. Also, the noise level was beyond energetic, bordering on painful. I hope they do something with the acoustics before the next time I go there.
Right across from the river. Great food and service; interesting old bar. Great cocktails also. Try the Jalapeno Bloody Maria, it's like a meal in a cocktail!
Christie (bartender) is great. she’s very attentive to everyone seated at the bar. Oysters and yardley burger were great as usual!
Great food, table and ambiance!
Really great - awesome 3 course lunch special - impressive craft beer menu. Will be back very soon.
I have been eating at Yardley Inn since on a regular moving to the area in August, the food has always been excellent and the service close to perfect. On this trip my wife and I had the special, steak tips with mushrooms over rigatoni in a cream sauce. I could have eaten a second one it was so good. The red velvet sour cream ice cream cake was amazing as well. They also have wonderful wine tasting, beer tasting, bourbon and scotch tasting dinners. Eating a meal accompanied by bourbons was a revelation to me a few weeks ago when I attended.
No wait reservations, food exceeded expectations, water glasses never went empty. Overall would go back in a heartbeat
