Yardley Inn Restaurant and Bar
Nestled along the Delaware River in bucolic Bucks County, the Yardley Inn is a great place to enjoy waterside dining near Philadelphia.
Grass Fed Filet Mignon*
au gratin potatoes, creamed spinach, chianti demi
heirloom tomato panzanella, avocado puree, basil oil
Great food and great service.would definitely come back here again!
Restaurant is charming as it is situated along the Delaware River!
Love the Yardley Inn, They have expanded their menu and there were many items to choose from. The appetizers were great and so was the meal. We've been going there for years and have never been disappointed.
We dined in the outdoor tent. We were attended to as soon as we sat down. Service was friendly, continuous, efficient and effective. The food was prepared well and was well plated. The staff worked well as individuals but also cooperated in support of each other. Wonderful value!
First time back in a long time due to pandemic. Food was excellent. I had Faroe Island salmon and my husband had steak. Service was great. So happy to be back.
Jenny our waitress was awesome - the food was great as always. We love coming to the Yardley Inn!!
Good food but small portions. Nice setting on the water.
We continue to be impressed with the Yardley Inn. Never had a bad meal over the numerous times we’ve eaten here. Shout out to Nancy who is a friendly and excellent server.
The waiter in the bar was terrible. We actually considered moving to another room in the restaurant in hopes of getting better service.
His idea of a proper greeting was “You ready?” His was absent for long stretches of time. My friend had to chase him down to place our order. And he took the wine menu away before we had a chance to look at the bottle list.
He def cost the Inn some money that night.
Another lovely meal at the Yardley Inn. Delicious creamy Chicken soup, calamari, Grain bowl and scallops fra Diablo. Service was attentive but not annoying.
Glad YI has kept the tent, even though 100% capacity indoor dining now allowed. So nice to be able to eat outside by the river.
Finally caught Wednesday burger and beer.night. I tried the chicken burger with papaya slaw. Interesting, but the spicing wasn't what I had in mind. The short rib burger tried by another in our party was yummy and a lot of food. The spicy fries were actually normal fries served with sautéed hot peppers. They reminded me of Lomo Saltado... hmm a new idea for their chef.
Front of the house people can't be nicer and more welcoming upon arrival. At the table, though, it appears the Yardley Inn is apparently suffering from the same fate as a lot of restaurants right now; shortage of help. That said, service was good, as was out table, which featured a view of the Delaware River.
It was my first time here and it is much larger than it looks from the outside (and there's outdoor dining under cover).
Food: I ordered oysters of the day (Blackberry Point, Va.) and they tasted fine. Out entrees (3) were the salmon and a special of the night, Soft Shelled Crabs. The entrees were outstanding and cooked perfectly. Cocktails and desserts were equally outstanding.
Always a great meal
Good food, service and atmosphere with many seating options indoor and out. Great cozy bar area.
This is truly dining at its best! From the second you walk in until the moment you leave the Yardley Inn delivers an upscale experience. The service, food and ambiance are all top rate. We both enjoyed the Seafood Risotto as it was perfectly seasoned. They did recognize our anniversary with a special menu and a glass of champagne.
Nicely selected menu and really nicely cooked food. Service was friendly and attentive. Lovely interior and location.
This is my favorite place. Food is outstanding, and I have never received bad service. I highly recommend the Yardley Inn.
We had a nice time our waitress was excellent and although she had lots of tables she was attentive and composed. Food was excellent recommend the meatloaf and mashed potatoes.
Yardley in is wonderful. Food, ambiance, cocktails and service are all top notch!
This was the first time out to dinner when a restaurant has had so many diners since covid. It felt so good to be among other people. We were able to look out on the river. Waitress did not rush us, and she was very friendly, and continued to check on us as to be sure everything was to our liking. The only thing I missed was the piano in the bar. So many times in the past after dinner, we would go to the bar and listen to Barbara Trent play and sing. I will return soon.
Great food and wonderful service. Had some severe thunderstorms roll through so we could not sit outside but we did sit in the large tent. Was on the loud side since there is nothing on there to absorb any sound and all it does is bounce around. Overall great meal and the server was very attentive, cordial and a good sense of humor. We will be back soon
I sit alone and felt comfortable with the atmosphere. Prices were moderate for the size of the meal but it tastes great! It is in a corner and during rush hour, you will hear traffic but nothing crazy. I will be visiting more often!
Given covid concerns they have done a great job making everything as safe as possible and providing an enjoyable dining experience
It was a beautiful evening. We sat outside. Two generations of people thoroughly enjoyed everything...the food, the ambiance, the beverages, the service
We always love the Inn. it is a yardley staple. Staff and food and atmosphere are great1
We both got salmon. It was cooked perfectly. My girlfriend says it was the best salmon she ever had. The service was great, but the busboy was particularly notable. He was there to clear plates, he brought us water and drinks, he was very polite, yet he wasn't intrusive.
We very much enjoyed our Anniversary dinner at the Yardley Inn. We ate outside at a table with an umbrella. We ordered the brussel sprouts appetizer to share which was delicious and a very generous portion. I ordered the filet which was a little over cooked but still tender. I didn't like the side choices on the menu and the waiter said that I could have any sides on the menu. This was very unusual and appreciated. We were too full for dessert but the waiter brought us an order of lemon sorbet with a calender to celebrate our day. Overall it was a delightful meal. I would highly recommend and we will be going back.
Dinner was delish. Drinks were awesome. And the wait staff were incredible. We Will be definitely going back very soon.
Although both the Devils on Horseback and the Pork Chop were overdone, this was a wonderful dining experience that we look forward to repeating in the near future.
Just wasn’t up to their normal high standards. Service seemed slow; food just okay tasting; fires stone cold; could not eat. Was hoping for more; especially with not getting out as often as we normally do with this Covid environment. Good would have been great, would have been better off staying home.
Never been disappointed here. Server was charming and attentive. Appetizers were delicious. Entrees were cooked at the requested temperature and were very tasty. Superbb wine selections at decent prices. The bar scene is excellent. Would recommend this restaurant for any occasion whether personal or business.
i sat at the bar and was served by Andy. Excellent service as always. she is always very professional and very pleasant . she makes dining there a totally enjoyable experience. i had fish and chips which were very good. looking forward to dining there again.
This was our first time at the Yardley Inn for dinner. I had requested a window seat and had made the reservation well in advance. We were seated against the wall and as far away from the window as you could get. The service was very slow. The waitress was running around like crazy but seems they needed more help. The food was very delicious and well presented. We will try again and hopefully will have a better impression.
All excellent as always. Mike was our server this time. He was also accommodating and excellent
Our waitress Macy was very friendly and provided great service
The food and service were very good. We were so glad to be back eating at one of my favorite places. However the gnats along the windowsill where we sat were gross One ended up in my glass of water. My husband killed a flying ant next to him on the window. Please remedy this bug issue.
I was at the Yardley Inn for dinner on the 13 th of May to celebrate my cousin’s birthday.
I waited 40 minutes for a bottle of wine, was told they were having trouble finding it in the basement, the rolls were as hard as a rock when I told the waitress she said she was sorry and would get us fresh ones but never did. The dinner was ok but not the best. We both had the filet. I have dined there before but was very disappointed this time.
Strong drinks, fresh, delicious food and great service! I ordered the marguerita salad, and the portion was huge for the price. Highly recommend!
First time meeting for dinner with relatives since before COVID. Our visit was spectacular and our server was the best!
Delicious turkey burger and super yummy Cosmo.
