Yardley Inn Restaurant and Bar
Nestled along the Delaware River in bucolic Bucks County, the Yardley Inn is a great place to enjoy waterside dining near Philadelphia.
This was not their best night. Food was extremely late in arriving, cold and over cooked. I have had better experiences here.
received very nicely. excellent service from waiter. nice variety on menu enjoyed scallops and pork shank. very enjoyable crab soup and shrimp
Excellent lunch with a business associate. Service was excellent. Menu additions were great. I had the risotto and my associate had the soft shell crab. I recommend this restaurant for all types of dining - friends, business, etc.
My wife had the crab cake entree and she enjoyed it so much that she craves about the sides up to a few days after having them.
Friendly people at front desk
Honored request to sit at window
Like making reservation on line
Friendly server but seemed to busy to attend to us. Wife would have liked second drink but server never asked and was so absent we couldn’t ask
Cheeseburger was very good, but wife’s crab cake was not cold but very barely warm
Observing menu and prices (in line), I was expecting (perhaps wrongly) tablecloth/high end Restraunt. Was surprised and disappointed it was not
This place exceeded my expectations! A friend and I went for lunch. Our waitress Daria was very knowledgable and made excellent recommendations. He had the quiche with salad greens and fresh fruit, and I had the burger with brie cheese and fries — my burger was prepared to perfection with just a hint of pink! I will definitely be going back!
Lovely evening. Enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Will definitely frequent the Yardley Inn
Excellent service and consistently good fare.
It’s a regular outing for us.
The atmosphere was very nice. The apps were delicious, we ordered a 3 cheese place, and the devils on horseback. My girlfriend ordered the monk fish and very much enjoyed it. I ordered the strip steak on special, and for a $39, it honestly was not that special. I think I could have gotten more apps and would have enjoyed my meal a lot more. I noted there wasn't any other steak options on the menu before I ordered. So I'm guessing this just isn't a place to get a steak. I think I would go back.
Not as good as our 1st visit & I attribute it to our server. He was abrasive & passive aggressive although he thought he was funny I guess. He was bossy with our cheese plate selection TELLING us what he was going to give us instead of letting us choose, even though we were asking for descriptions. We realized afterwards it was because he didn't know the cheeses & how to describe them. If he doesn't want to learn the types of cheese then he should realize they were all very detailed on the dessert menu which we found out later & he could've given that to us! Disappointing because I would've ordered 2 different cheeses than what we had. Note: a swiss is NOT the same OR similar to a cheddar! I asked for a change of a side & he decided to change my whole dish except my protein. The last straw was his many "drive bys". He couldn't take a second to stop, he'd drop things off as he kept walking. The food tasted good but the whole experience was disappointing compared to our great experience last time (different server).
Always very good
Service always excellent
Very good. Service a little spotty at first. Food was good although calamari slightly chewy, quiche a bit overdone, and fruit not quite ripe. Lunch is a pretty good deal compared to dinner (much more expensive). Annoyed I made a reservation and it wasn't checked off by hostess though.
The Inn has been doing it so well for many years. The staff is relaxed, friendly and knowledgeable. A window view is even more perfect, One seems to be surrounded with congenial, happy folk.
Very slow to get served. Food was ok but not great.
tasteless and bland food. it's like they don't know how to add flavor to anything. it was also very overpriced. not worth it and a waste of money. waiters made me uncomfortable.
Always enjoy dining there.
They treat us well.
Sat outside; too noisy
Sitting outside is very nice however because there are three stops signs in close proximity, the noise level is extremely high. Wonderful atmosphere though.
Great menu. Lots of choices. Friendly, efficient service. Definitely will return.
My pasta dish was undercooked. After sending it back to the kitchen, the dining manager wanted to compensate with a dessert and had to be persuaded to take it off the bill when We refused dessert.
We were seated near a loud party and asked to move.
Our wine was not delivered with our food and we had to request it.
Overall, a disappointing dining experience. The appetizers were good!!!
Waited forever for our meal. The restaurant was very hot. Appetizer vegetables we order all over cooked and a pharaoh under two of the fish dishes was undercooked. The salmon had a funky taste and the trout was flavorless. we have dined there often and have always been pleased in the past. This time we took new people and we were very embarrassed.
Beautiful setting. Nice diverse menu. Friendly and efficient service. A bit noisy.
My go to place for lunch/dinner in Yardley. Consistent good food and service. I will be back soon!
Little lobster in lobster roll. Burger overcooked.
Excellent food & A+ service! The fig appetizer (called Devils on Horseback) was amazing!
This is our go-to place for all occasions. We know the food and service will be great. Michelle always greets us and makes us feel so welcome. And Frank is our favorite bartender!
As always the Yardley Inn came through. The service was wonderful, food excellent and well worth the price. Would recommend the Yardley Inn to anyone looking for a great dining experience.
Always a wonderful place to meet up with friends. The service, food and atmosphere is so very pleasant.
Great salads, pasta, chicken & good crab cakes and burgers. Today there was an excellent gazpacho soup of the day. Good early bird prix fix menu and full bar too along with nice view of the river.
Good food and drinks. Especially enjoyed the scallops and burgers. The staff are very attentive. Remains our neighborhood gem.
We meet Family here each Sunday and always look forward to it! Wait Staff is always friendly and Welcoming!
excellent meal and service Our server Francesca was amazing Please thank her for us
Loved our meal. The Tower of three appetizers was delicious. A special meal to celebrate our 35th Anniversary. We will definitely be back.
This restaurant consistently gets it right. The food and service are excellent. The view of the river from ourvwindow table was spectacular. It was a terrific date night.
I requested a table with a view of the river for an out of town guest via Open Table. Yardley Inn gave us a great table as requested. Thanking them for honoring this request. Everyone was friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
First time there- highly recommend! Had a wedding anniversary at the Inn this week and had requested a nice table with a view. Michelle set us up with a front corner table with view of the Delaware. Perfect. Complimentary champagne for the occasion. Service was spot on- timely and unobtrusive. Food was excellent, capped by a ganache for dessert. Noise was moderate and acceptable. Prices were moderate to high but appropriate for the quality and location. Overall a very good experience.
One of our go-to places in Bucks County. Excellent food, service and drink selections.
We have been driving to the Yardley Inn from the Jersey Shore several times a year for pork paprikash. Tonight we were surprised and disappointed that the Inn no longer serves their signature dish. Although the food we had was good, it did not measure up to our favorite dish. Looks like the Yardley Inn will be off our list until they start serving pork paprikash again. Oh well. It was delicious while it lasted.
We have had favorite places to eat when we visit Lambertville/New Hope area. We decided to venture out to something new and were very pleased. We will be back.
Nicole was very professional. Great service.
