Yardley Inn Restaurant and Bar
Nestled along the Delaware River in bucolic Bucks County, the Yardley Inn is a great place to enjoy waterside dining near Philadelphia.
Went for the Beer and Burger night. Burgers were great! Done exactly as wanted and the one with Boursin cheese was fabulous! I picked one of the beers that were recommended and it paired bery well. Will definitely be back again.....and again!
Cocktails are always the best. Food was excellent.
Really enjoyed our dinner there — aside from it being a bit louder than we would like it was terrific.
We had Sabrina as our server. She was wonderful and extremely attentive. She was helpful with our menu questions as well. I would highly recommend her again.
As a group, we go to lunch about every three months. This is our third time having Brett as our server, and we couldn't be more pleased. He is an asset to the Yardley Inn, for sure! We could not ask for better service as his is tops. Please extend to him our thanks!
This was a birthday dinner. Our dinners were good except for the salmon dish that the birthday girl received. It was over done and dry. The waiter did take it back and brought a different choice which she really enjoyed. Everything else was satisfactory. We have dined there many times and this was the first time we had a problem with a meal. Usually the meals are excellent. We will be back again.
The "Dine Early" special offer is very attractive. There are many choices of soup/salads, entree items and dessert. The staff is always very friendly and the food is of consistent quality.
We had reservations for our 35th wedding anniversary dinner and the noise was so loud we couldn't hear our waitress who was 3 feet away from us. We've been coming here for 20 years, but the menu, cooking and service has dropped significantly. Will not being back anytime soon
Great as always. Was accommodating to reservations, food was excellent, and service was great.
Had friends visit from New Jersey and wanted to have a nice lunch
I Made reservations and we had a great table with a view of the river. My wife uses a wheelchair and the staff quickly put up the ramp needed to enter and exit and made sure she was safe entering and leaving
This place has been around for decades, and the locals must love it because it was packed to the gills on a recent Thursday afternoon, and perhaps it was under-staffed for the onslaught that day, as my table of three felt a bit ignored throughout the meal. And, seating in the bar area was a bit too cozy, so conversation above the din was difficult (especially with an 87 year old guest). The room and view of the Delaware River is nice, and the luncheon menu varied and very well-priced, but it was not a quiet or relaxing meal, so I'd suggest seeking out other options in this area.
The service was excellent. My sister in law had the swordfish, and said it was delicious. I had the turkey burger. It was very good, but a bit salty. Overall another wonderful meal at the Yardley Inn!
Love the food, atmosphere and beautiful river scenery.
Our dinner was a disaster. We had to flag down the bus boy for bread, it took almost an hour for our food to come out. The food was bland. The service was very slow on a sleepy Sunday 5 pm dinner. I’d stick to sitting at the bar or outside on warmer days and just ordering apps and drinks.
The location is lovely and the atmosphere in keeping with the area- quaint, somewhat colonial. It was very busy and the servers were a little slow and inconsistently attentive but very pleasant. My omelet was hot and delicious. My husband’s was cold but tasty. The roasted potatoes and fruit cups were very nice. The room temperature toast was not really toasted, but it was still made of tasty bread. It was a pretty day for a drive along country roads to the restaurant. We enjoyed our brunch enough to be willing to give the restaurant another chance.
Our server, Brett, was outstandkng
As we are friends who meet regularly at Yardley Inn, we are always appreciative of the great service, food and atmosphere. Although our waiter this time was quite efficient, he seemed rather curt and to want to "rush us" and we advised him that we normally spend a good amount of time together while dining and would appreciate his understand and his tip would reflect it. He finally seemed to understand. Thank you.
Good food. We were there for lunch. An extensive menu with reasonably priced luncheon specials.
We frequently dying here for their beer and burger night and on this evening they actually had a duck burger which I thought was really unusual but it was tasty although I felt the cheese on it was a little too strong for the burger. Instead of fries we get the vegetables and their vegetables on this evening were green beans and they were really excellent. Our server Kimberly was very professional and very good
Enjoyed the late lunch. Food was all very good. The server very helpful and attentive...the only thing missing was more sun and warmer weather!
It was good. Food was delicious.
We went for a birthday celebration. Service was outstanding, excellent recommendations. The 3 course menu was a super value. Nice view of river and great drink selection. Every visit here is well worth it.
Very good food and service. First time there. Will go again.
Beautiful restaurant in a lovely setting on the river.
Fresh, interesting menu selections. Prompt, profession service. Good wine selections and a friendly bar.
Service was good. Food was very generous. French fries too overcooked and bland. Horrible tea. They should invest in a better quality. Had to send it back.
Love the Yardley Inn and the wonderful convience of Open Table service.
Such a lovely place. The food was amazing and service was outstanding!
Filet mignon was average at best; didnt seem like a great cut of meat. Had pecan pie for dessert; not the best; really hard.
Did not consider good value for what we received
I enjoyed an excellent pork shank entre and friends' loved their pasta dishes. Could have a more interesting dessert menu and one or two appetizer specials. YI a place to and assured a good meal.
Always a pleasure!
Great service and the proteins were warm and cooked perfectly. Rest of the dish was bland.
We dine here regularly and it's always great. The only exception is 2 of the 6 entrees arrived with the meat rare, when the requests were medium well. Our server Courtney is always amazing and it was taken care of rapidly.
Our table was ready for us as soon as we walked in, despite being a bit early. My friend and I were tucked in a nice corner where we could converse easily. Robert was a great server, had humor, was attentive without being intrusive and from the lovely wine (Cline mourvedre) to our crisp salad (big enough to share) to our perfect temperature entrees we were delighted and plan to return
Nancy, our waitress, was great, food was great and service great!!!
Great food. Very noisy.
Cocktails are always perfect. Great specials — the Duck was to die for!
Our food was excellent but our waitress was outstanding. One of the best service we’ve ever had!
I took my 86 year old aunt out for her birthday at the Yardley Inn. Our server was wonderful and friendly, the staff at the front desk helpful and courteous, the food wonderful and served in reasonable time. We went for her 84th birthday two years ago, and I'd take her back (or myself) anytime I wanted a good meal with a beautiful view of the Delaware River.
Food was good, only problem was our server forgot to serve our desserts. She gave us forks but had to wait 15 mins and tell her she forgot to serve the dessert.
Friendly and courteous staff no waiting Food was hot and tasted great
