   Food is always delicious...eggs are a must have for an appetizer. We also had the chicken and the fish selection of the day. The fish was excellent (rockfish). As with most places, service was slower than normal with a packed house and overworked staff, but they were professional and polite. Will definitely return.

   Service was very attentive. The chicken and waffles huge portion and very good. We split between two of us. We also tried the crab cake and the corn bread. Both delicious.

   Tasty fried chicken but not outstanding, Particularly given the very high price. Sides were small portions and also expensive. Honey hot sauce is semisweet and has a very mild spice.

   The chicken was good but very greasy... and no sides with the half chicken seemed a bit weird, especially for the price. Staff was very attentive but it was so loud it was hard to hear everything he was saying. I might give it another shot, but I wasn't impressed with this visit.

    We were a party of five having brunch. We were seated on time and the waiter was polite. We ordered drinks which came as expected. Then we ordered our meal. Three of the five people ordered appetizers with their which never came. Then, 4 of 5 received their meal. The 5th was delivered 20-30 Minutes later because the 4 had finished eating and no apology was given. When it came for payment, we were given the option of separate checks which we agreed too. Later. The waiter returned suggesting that one person pays and the others CashApp the payer. He did not know our situation therefore should have provided payment optioned we agreed to do. I reviewed the bill and noticed that we were charged for six (6) meals instead of five. The meal that was served late was entered twice. I was surprised because I would have expected it would have been comp because of the later service. We decide to split the bill evenly however, one person was charged two thirds of the bill. The bill Has to be cancelled and the checkout process started all over again. No manager present, no apology from restaurant for poor service.

    Going to a restaurant that gets the food almost right, but fails so miserably on service is frustrating. My recent experience at Yardbird was horrible. We were on time for our reservation and had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. The waiter brought out all of our food at the same time, when we specifically told him what we wanted to start, and what we wanted as our entrees. When we said something, he was argumentative. He then said he was bringing the check and that we couldn't order dessert because the restaurant closes at 10:00pm. He went even further and said the hostess should have told you our hours. I really think he should have come over at some point and told us the kitchen was closing and that if we wanted dessert, we should order it.

    The first time my wife and I went to Yardbird was in Vegas and we loved it. We wanted to enjoy it again and tried the DC location this time around. The food, service, and ambiance was spectacular. I will always recommend Yardbird to anyone.

    The service could have been better. And why is the 18% gratuity already added in? That’s probably why the service is poor, they already know that they have a tip coming. I won’t eat there again.

    It was a great experience!! The food came out super quick, I was honestly shocked. We were a little bit worried about the price to serving size ratio but honestly good sizes for the price. There was three of us and we got two entrees and three sides to share and we weren’t able to finish because it was so filling. All the food was so delicious!!!

    Food was decadent and delicious! Prices were pretty steep, but somewhat expected in the DC area. Highly recommend the fried chicken, lobster mac & cheese, and creamed corn!

    The food was outstanding. The service however left a lot to be desired. Even though we arrived on time there was a party of two that was seated before us. I had to call over the host who sat us to ask if we would be seeing a waiter. The waiter came with an attitude and took our order. He only came back once to see how the food was. But they get you because even for small parties they include Alan 18% gratuity. Go for the food but hope you have a better waiter who cares about you as a patron

    We went for some quick bites and cocktails before a hockey game. Our service was incredible! We told the server we were in a bit of time crunch. He was amazing! Food came out quick and hot. Cocktails were on point and absolutely gorgeous. Will definitely be back to experience more of the menu.

    I arrived at 11am with a reservation and was able to walk right in. The initial greeting with the front desk was a little rough but once we got seated, it was amazing from there after. One note, is that the bathroom wasn’t very clean but the decor was cool and modern

    Great food. The chicken and waffles is as good as they advertise. I even loved to signature old fashioned. But..... Bring the bill. It took us 20 minutes from clearing the table to leaving the tip and we were not subtle about being done. We had to practically rugby tackle a server to get them to let us pay and leave. 2 minutes more and it would have ruined the meal.

    My friends and I took the train from Baltimore to Washington D.C. just to have brunch here. Our reservation was for 8 but it ended up being 10 of us. No problem, the host accommodated us. The atmosphere is wonderful. Our Server was flustered from the beginning. He took our drink orders rather quickly. Keep in mind we were seated at 12:15 pm. Our food order wasn't taken until 1:05 pm. The Manager walked by our table at 1:20 pm and asked if we were good. By that time we were 2 or 3 drinks in so yes we were. Our food came it was amazing. Our Server was just super overwhelmed, sweating profusely and needed either a smaller section or he just cannot handle that type of volume on a Saturday afternoon and should have that day off. He was very nice and tried to be as attentive as possible but it was only so much he could do. He's one person. Overall my experience here was great. Service could've been better but I'll give it another try maybe on a not so busy brunch day.
