Everything was great the only concern was our server wasn’t very attentive. He disappeared a few times. We ended up having to ask someone else for assistance. However the manager walked around several times to check on everyone. So anything we needed we were able to be assisted.

The restaurant itself was beautiful and the ambience very inviting. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating when I added an extra person to the reservation last minute. We visited for Father's day excited to try the newly introduced breakfast/brunch menu. Unfortunately breakfast was a bit disappointing due to the food quality and pricing. The Rib Eye Steak & Eggs was listed as market price so we assumed somewhere between $40-$50 based on previous experiences at Ruth Chris, or other reputable steak houses. It was instead a whopping $76 for a 14oz and a side of eggs. They did not communicate the price at any point. There were no other sides or salad that came with it. The steak itself was very fatty and certainly not worth $75. Maybe $30-$35 at best. They also asked us if we preferred, tap, bottled or sparkling water. Being a native of DC we obviously chose bottled over tap. They again never disclosed the price, however after receiving the bill, a 1L bottle of still water was $30 and they charged us for 2. I order the chicken and waffles and substituted the cheddar waffle for a plain one. The waffle was very thick and grainy and tasted like cornmeal. The chicken was tasty. All in all this restaurant is hugely overpriced and does not live up to the hype. I'd much rather go to STK or Ruth Chris and still won't pay as much as I did here.

I chose Yardbird for my Father's Day experience because the food is great, the servers/bartenders are friendly, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Excellent work.

We were a somewhat large (14-16) group that grew unexpectedly as the date of the reservation ap[roached. Significant effort was put forth accommodate us. I would like to commend Kendra (Hostess), Felicanna (sp?)and Taye (sp?) and our entire server team for managing an enthusiastic celebratory group!

I took my sister out to dinner after the Pride weekend festivities. The food and service were excellent! Highly recommend the sweet tea braised brisket. The manager stopping by to check on us was a lovely touch and both she and our server were friendly and fun.

I had and amazing experience at Yardbird for a birthday brunch with my girls. The food was amazing I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes and biscuits with the apple jam to start. The table ordered the fried chicken biscuit with gravy, bacon and eggs and the half chicken with mashed potatoes and a side salad. Everyone had a togo box and we loved the banana pudding dessert. Our waiter was super nice, attentive and great with helping us decide on our main course. This was my second time dining here and I highly recommend for brunch or dinner. Amazing atmosphere and employees.
