   We were able to have breakfast at the Yardbird while in DC (we also ate dinner there twice). The food was wonderfully presented and delicious. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We really enjoyed our meals and highly recommend eating here.

   We went twice for dinner and each time, the food and service was excellent! The wait staff is friendly, engaging, knowledgeable and wonderful. The food was fabulous and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly!

   Do not waste your time!! This was the worst dining experience ever. After we were seated, we waited 10 minutes before we were greeted by our waiter. Two people in our party ordered the rotisserie chicken, a classic menu item, they were informed 15 minutes after placing the order that they only had "1 chicken " with a name like Yardbird, so 1 person needed to order something else from the menu. Food for the rest of the table was already arriving. It took another 15 minutes for his meal to be served and still the waiter nor a manager made no apologies for the delay. There was no apology and no offer to comp the meal. I ordered the waygu burger of the week. The burger was cooked so hard it was burnt and crispy on the outside and dry on the inside. They ruined a supposedly high quality beef. The burger was topped with fried green tomatoes that were cold and tasteless. Needless to say I returned the meal and did not order anything else. The truffle fries were cold and my $7 regular glass of iced tea was never refilled. One person ordered green beans as a side dish. They looked like they had been sitting out for some time. They were dry and cold. They were also returned. The location was good and the atmosphere was good, but everything else was a disappointment!

   It was so loud that it took away from the enjoyment of the delicious food. Our group of 7 could barely hear each other. Server was great.

   Good place for business lunches and dinners for people attending events in the Washington DC Convention Center. Very close to the front entrance of the Convention Center.

   Good meal overall. I had the oatmeal, bacon and deviled eggs (which are always excellent). I did let them know the oatmeal was delicious but needs to be served hotter. Customer service was top notch.

   After visiting yardbird in Miami Vegas and LA we were looking forward to another great meal in DC. Instead the food lacked flavor and the quality of the drinks subpar ( a good bar does not use artificial maraschino cherries in an old fashioned). A disappointing visit overall

    The waiter was great Alicia u think 5 stars i dint really lik the crab cake but the street corn and cornbread was good next time i go im gonna try the fried chicken but only reason 3 stars was because of the crab cakes everything else was great
