   Nice time with a party of 8 for Mother’s Day - service a bit slow but a busy day. Food was nicely prepared and everyone enjoyed it. We were fortunate to have a private room or the noise level would have been a problem. Prices are high but the norm these days.

   This was the 1st time dining at the establishment in DC. The atmosphere and food was good. The waiter service was not so good. The waiter was not attentive to the table needs, long wait for water, long wait for appetizer orders, then we had no side plates for the appetizers, long wait to return for main course ordering. My main course came out wrong had to be sent back for remake. My daughter's food was undercooked and we waited several minutes for the waiter who never came back finally a manager on duty came to see how things were and was able to get her another menu item. There was a Mother's Day offer with complimentary items advertised, my daughter ordered the items. We received the bill and realized the waiter added the items to the bill as a charge. When asked for clarification the waiter apologized and then said the drink ordered wasn't included however he didn't advise that when it was ordered. The price for the Green Giant ordered stated one price on the menu but rang up a higher price. The response from the hostess staff was these are newer printed menus and I will let the managers know there's an error. Lastly prior to making reservations we were advised Saturday and Sunday breakfast service was until 3pm, however there was no breakfast menu only offering was a brunch menu, normally not an issue however when you have a person that doesn't eat meat and has specific diet restriction that's an issue. Now considering it is Mother's Day maybe all the staff were uninformed of the limited menu selections for today. So to some all of this up today's experience was not a 10-10 more like a 5-10 but I will give the DC location another opportunity and hope for a better experience and outcome on the next visit.

   Had a group of 9 for Mother's Day - three preteens and 6 adults. The noise level was just right for the kids to be lively without annoying others, the food was fantastic, and the server was very attentive. Most of the party had allergies (gluten, dairy, sugar, and nuts) and there were plenty of options to feed us all well. Highly recommend!

   My mother has the shrimp and grits bowl and said it was the best shrimp and grits she’s ever had. We will be returning.

   We were in town for a Birthday and had Tra. We were unable to find him and had to check out with Xavier. Xavier was amazing, he helped check us out and gave us complimentary champagne.

    The Staff was exceptional. From the front desk to our server. 10 out of 10. The food was subpar. Corn must have been on sale because it was on or in everything. I had the most soggy and flavorless wedge salad ever. Even after eating some of the corn I left at least 1/2 cup(No Exaggeration). Yes, it was that much corn in the salad, A Wedge Salad. The Crab Cake - Spoiler it has shrimp and fillers was Mod at best. So disappointed to be this close to Maryland and get a "bla" crab cake. Oh, it was on a bed of veggies that also included a abundance of corn. The Fried Green Tomatoes were pretty flavorless. The Caesar Salad was delicious. For the price point go somewhere else. Morton's, The Prime or even Ruth Chris for better tasting food.
