   Our reservation was for 6:30 pm on Thanksgiving. We were seated right away and had a very sweet server. The food was excellent but they were already out of the Pinot Gris featured on the menu. We went with another white which was @$100. The restaurant is large and very loud. Our total bill for (4) for (3) of their turkey entrees and (1) short rib entrée was @$450 with tip. Welcome to LA! ;)

   Overall, this is a mixed review. The food for the Thanksgiving meal was fantastic across the board, not a miss. Service was just a bit rushed but we understand that on a Holiday. Biggest issue, the dance club level soundtrack playing at such a volume conversation could barely be had. I'm sure on regular nights this is fine, but it was Thanksgiving and many of us had older people at our tables, and the music was intrusive. As such, a mixed review. I'd go again if I new they'd kill the music for that one night.

   Even with a reservation we waited almost 30 minutes to be seated. We hardly saw our waiter and we were missing one side dish which we reminded our waiter a few times. The side dish was finally delivered to our table as we asked for the check.

   Went on Thanksgiving and the food was great. In fact, it was so good we might have gone back the next day to try their fried chicken and ribs, but, the noise level was so high it was overwhelming. Too loud, great food, it's a dilemma.

   Thanksgiving dinner was good but my daughters meal came out 15 min after hours. The green bean casserole is not really a casserole. Kind of a let down. It’s just sautéed green beans. Turkey seasoning not my favorite. Will be back to try regular menu.

    Went here for my anniversary tonight and everything about the place was great! Definitely worth the trip… the server recommended great food, and the food was so good! Everything we tried was amazing! We even had to take some dessert home because we felt we were missing out….

    Call ahead to make sure items on the menu are available. I called the day before for the mp on the Waygue Tomohawk & was given a price. However when we arrived for our reservation, we were told it had been unavailable for weeks. A few vegan options, no vegan desserts.

    Did the dine la menu. Got the hummus and dumplings for apps. Entree was the lamb bolognese (hubby likes lamb) a rich dish and I got the fried chicken—good and juicy not dry. Also got the steamed clams $20 and came with 2 big slices of grilled toast to sop up the juice! Couldn’t resist and got the biscuits too. Of course took hime half of the chicken and 3 of the 4 biscuits ( just as I planned!!).definitely a good place to dine. Service was very good tonight from our server Tyler B

    Our waitress Chris was really nice and patient. He got everyone’s order correct . Me and one of my friends didn’t like the pepper and the strawberry vodka drink and he changed it . He put my candles on my cake and lit my candles for me . Overall the food was great . I’m glad a enjoyed my birthday dinner at the yard bird

    There is a saying in the industry and that is “Poor service can make good food taste bad” . That’s what happened in my experience with Anya. Upon arriving the host asked Anya the manager of there were servers able to take us, her reply just sit them and I’ll start them. Once sat she came to the table and we were not greeted warmly but simply with a cold “can I get you anything” after which she asked if we were going to be drinking wine. My friend with me says he isn’t and as she begins to take both glasses I say well I am and she annoyed clearly, puts it back on the table. Note, this is my first time here and she doesn’t explain where the drinks/wine are listed or even a explanation of the menus. After ordering wine she comes back pours it while backhanding me and again asks “can I get you something” to which I say “I haven’t been here before, but I guess I’ll order something”. At that point I just ordered chicken and waffles as her attitude was horrible. Before the food arrived we still never got a server , never got Offered another wine and never got a quality check until my friend was 3/4 done with his app. Food arrives and my waffle is cold, once Anya comes to ask “is everything ok” I say it’s just ok as my waffle is cold. She then grabs it without hesitation and says nothing while taking it back. As this was rude and insulting I was simply over my meal so once she returned I let her know that I was over the meal. I had only eaten 20% of the dish. The check came and I noticed the full amount for the chicken and waffles was on there. Once Anya came back I asked her that if I’m going to pay full price I’ll just get it Togo her response “it’s in the trash” and “that’s why I asked you if you wanted me to do anything” “IM NOT A MIND READER”. I never been insulted more as a diner than in that moment as if I supposed to tell a mgr how to do her job. It’s embarrassing and not what hospitality is. If she acts this way how does her staff act?

    Really poor experience. We booked indoor dining & they put us outside. I asked why & they said they gave our table to the people who arrived before us… even tho we were on time for our reservation. Service was slow & incorrect. Ordered the pork belly & got bacon. The bacon was super thin & something you’d get from a school cafeteria. They brought the pork belly out & it was dry & way over cooked. We ordered dessert. Waiter came back 20 minutes later & asked if we were ready for our check. He forgot to put the dessert order in. Another 20 minutes go by and they bring the dessert which was undercooked. Not worth the $120 bill.

    Our first dining experience at Yardbird Table & Bar was during our vacation in D.C. We have eaten at the L.A. location three times and the food, ambiance, and service are always outstanding. My favorite dish is chicken and waffles. The chicken is perfectly crisp and the waffles melt in your mouth!

    The food was great but dramatically overpriced even considering the current inflation circumstances. That said, my friend and I shared the chicken and waffles which was enough for 2 ($42), and it was flavorful, moist, & crispy, with great waffles as well. Service was ok, not great (no coffee refills were proactively offered, though we asked and it was brought). Probably won’t be back considering the number of great food places in LA that have fabulous service and better prices. Music was also playing at almost a nightclub level despite it being Sunday Brunch. We would have appreciated a slightly more conversational level, and I am not one to complain about noise usually (or service for that matter- I have waited tables and I am a patient person). All this of course was just one person’s opinion on one particular day. ✌️

    The food was great, the menu was basic only a few items. We had to remind the waiter of the desert menu. I ordered food but the waiter forgot to bring corn bread and I had to remind him about the strawberry peach cobbler. The cobbler was not pie at all but sort of a granola with fruit and ice cream. I would go again for the lobster Mac n cheese though. I feel like they Europeanized traditional southern dishes and that didn’t sit well with me.

    Probably the best fried chicken we've ever eaten! It was moist, tasty, delicious batter. However, the drinks were expensive and stingy which was surprising given the food portions. Straight Titos vodka was $16 + they added $3 additional to make it a martini served in the tiniest martini glass. :-(
