We went to Yardbird for a late Saturday lunch. The restaurant is beautiful with great ambience, trendy decor and good music. We were seated immediately and had fantastic service as well. We ordered their renowned deviled eggs, fried chicken and burger. The food was very good, but overall expensive especially for the portion sizes.

I had specified that we were celebrating a birthday in the notes with my reservation and they didn’t do anything to acknowledge that. There was nothing there to celebrate my birthday and other places had done special things for it but this was a bit disappointing for the amount we pay for the service . We were a large group so we were already tipping high as it was already included so a little something would have been nice. The food was fabulous and would go again but with less expectations overall . Was bummed out at the end of it. Had I gone any other day it would have been a 5/5 experience but going for my birthday just killed the vibe

Told them it was my wifes birthday. They did acknowledge it but no dessert or anything offered. Okra was over cooked. Chicken was tasty but skin was extremely soggy. Burnt end dish was ridiculously small and poached eggs were cooked hard. Drinks were tasty but $18 each was a bit much. Not a good value or meal. Won’t be back.

We always enjoy the food and service at Yardbird. We especially enjoy The Whole Bird, the St. Louis Ribs, and the Short Rib. The cobbler is outstanding as well!

This is one of my all time favorite spots for brunch AND for dinner! Drinks are always on point! I can’t speak to the dessert menu but all of the fresh baked/scratch items on the brunch menu are delicious. I haven’t had anything on the menu that wasn’t tasty! It feels like we dine here at least monthly! You cannot go wrong!
