Made a reservation for Sunday morning and upon arrival we were seated as soon as we walked in the door with no waiting. Ty was our waiter and he was fantastic. Answering all the questions that we posed to him and offering suggestions on what he thought were the best options and which were his favorite choices from the menu I chose the shrimp and grits with the sunny side up eggs. the eggs were perfect and the grits were by far, the best grits I have ever tasted in my entire life and I get them all over the country. My wife chose the American breakfast, and the bacon was crisp. The sausage was cooked to perfection as were the eggs. We will definitely come back here again

I started out with the house version of the old-fashioned. It was very good and I even had a second one because I enjoyed it so much. As an appetizer, we had the fried green tomatoes, which were well done. My husband had an iceberg wedge salad, which he enjoyed very much. For entrées, I had the rotisserie chicken and my husband had the jambalaya pasta. Both were very good. They offered us dessert, but we passed since the entry price for desserts was $18 ranging up to as high as $25. After you’ve already paid for drinks, appetizers, and entrées to be handed a menu that has dessert prices in the $18-$25 range is to me, outrageous. One of the items was a Keylime pie. For $18? You’ve got to be kidding me.

When went there for our anniversary, It was our first time going there and it won't be our last . Very beautiful place! Not to mention, it was a glorious experience! It's our new favorite . 10/10✨

My only problem with Yardbird last night was the lack of communication at the hostess stand. I had my 15 year old son young and his 13 year old friend with me. The three of us have been to Yardbird many times and we sit upstairs away from the bar. I had a 6:30 pm reservation and asked to be sat upstairs. I could see very few people where up there but I got a look, an eye roll, and the hostess mumbled ‘I don’t know, let me mumble mumble’. We waited awkwardly in uncertainty for a few minutes then hostess mumbled something and walked away. We followed because we didn’t know what else to do. I was gracious and thanked the 2 women doing the seating. Their attitude came off as if I was asking for a something BIG. Both women doing the seating behaved as though they were bothered by us wanting to sit upstairs. That set the tone of a lack of hospitality. Yard Bird is in the business of hospitality. Maybe they should be enlightened that the first impression they give should be welcoming, not put out. Francisco our waiter was awesome and so was the food. This restaurant is a go to for us.

Service was good. Quite pricey for what it was. $48 for chicken and waffles? Surprisingly the chicken was under-seasoned and the mashed potatoes were a tad too salty. Excellent iced tea.
