Love Yard Bird. First time at this location but have been to Vegas multiple times. Love that they have gluten free fried chicken. Best of all it tastes like the real thing! Los Angeles location actually has more gluten free options then Vegas which was a nice surprise!
Our waiter Nick was amazing!!! Everyone there was great. The food and drinks were excellent.
Amazing spot! The service is sooo good and they are very accommodating and understanding. Three of my friends were running a few minutes late, and they still let us sit. The waiters are all very attentive and sweet! I had a great time:)
I had the collard greens and lobster Mac and cheese - both were excellent!!! The bourbon maple syrup on the scratch made biscuits was delicious. The entire staff and friendly and professional. Best meal I’ve had in a minute. I’ll be going back next weekend!
Our waitress was great, but the flies came out in abundance which made my husband and I pack up our good food to eat at home. Otherwise it was a good experience waiter and management was very accommodating and checked on us throughout our time there.
My meal was pretty average - a salad (wit way too much dressing) with salmon, iced tea and biscuits, and cost $40. Definitely not worth the price.
Had a great time, will definitely be back. Wish the hostess had remembered it was my birthday but grateful for the drink tickets they gave. Unfortunately I wont be able to use them because I'm almost 5 months pregnant lol. But will definitely be back food is too good not to return.
Sunday afternoon supper was delightful at Yard Bird. The Bourbon cocktails were surprisingly refreshing on a hot day. The menu offers excellent choices and interesting preparations (fried chicken, ribs). Great location, lovely staff, wonderful meal.
Overall the Yardbird was good, the hostess was not to friendly, but the servers were excellent!! We had a problem finding the location and drove around The Beverly Center a couple of times. We called to get the exact location and reached a recording that sounded like 1st St. instead of 3rd St. When we reached a live person she wasn't very nice. Just an FYI for anyone not familiar with the area, the Yardbird is located on the first floor of the Beverly Center next to the Farmhouse!
“If” I liked anything about the restaurant, it would be over shadowed by all of the flies and gnats we had to fight to eat our food!! I ordered shrimp and grits and it was wayyyyy to salty.
Dining experiences at the Beverly Center are expected to be of a better quality.
Was great and was made to felt special for my birthday
Amazing service from everyone. Food was outstanding. Easy to park.
Overall it was exceptional dining. Can't wait to go again.
Jordan was superb and the entire staff and management
I was visiting from NYC and wanted a nice brunch place in Beverly Hills and this place was incredible! Very cute (and instagrammable if you're looking for that), a little pricey, but the food was amazing. Get the biscuits and gravy
Service is excellent. Food was good. The owner/manager I think was very nice same as the waitress.
They even gave me a free dessert because of my birthday. However, the food was a little overpriced.
waiter was very nice - food was okay - chix looked really crispy but was greasy and not crisp on any piece - the waffles were not bad but could’ve been without the cheese and served with natural syrup - the ribs were tender and seasoned well - somethings are better in their natural state and don't need extra help - the fried green tomatoes with pork belly app was good - not sure if would return though especially for the prices!
Great service and good food. They knew it was my birthday based on my profile when I made the reservations and they brought me a free dessert.
The food was average nothing special.
A little touch of the South in L A. Fried Chicken awesome, Waffle, cold and hard, Watermelon no flavor... Mac N Cheese Fabulous.... Grits and Biscuits the Best...,
Food is ok at best. For the price, it’s definitely not worth it. $48 for lobster Mac n cheese. The lobster was ok. The Mac n cheese was subpar. $26 for half fried chicken. The new fried chicken I had at Panda Express is way better. The fried tomato appetizer was ok. The best thing they had was the biscuit with butter and jam. Way overpriced for the lack of flavor. Server was nice.
We had an outdoor table for my birthday. The food was amazing, the ambiance was relaxing, and the waitress was abundantly accommodating.
Requested a booth when I booked reso and even though the place was empty and there was plenty of booths to sit at we got a tiny table where the seating was right next to another party. For the price that’s being paid for the meal they could at least try to accommodate their dining guests with this simple request.
Food was good but pricey for fried chicken and biscuits. Of course, I knew that going into it but I was expecting the food to be better. Fried chicken was flavorful and moist but pieces were small and tasted like flour. Biscuits were dense and moist. I prefer more flaky. Go to Gus’s instead.
The restaurant was attractive and the free valet right outside the door made it very easy to get there.
Very nice got full quick but absolutely great food
We did not have a good experience at Yardbird! I convinced six of my friends to check it out, and I was very disappointed and embarrassed that I chose this place! This was our first time getting together in a while and we were not pleased. The ambiance was good and the waiter was Ok, but the food was terrible! We had everything from the biscuits (those were good) to the chicken and waffles, lobster Mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts, hush puppies. And none of it was up to par. The chicken came out about 10-15 minutes after our sides, once we asked about it. The food was bland, no flavor, no pizazz. We had to ask for salt and pepper, we weren’t given our hot sauce and syrup before our chicken and had to request that. The drinks were bad. No kick. I had the gunsmoke (that barely smoked) and my friends had the southern peach. We spent $500 and left unsatisfied. The waiter asked how things were and we told him, so he comps us a freaking dessert! And guess what! Even the comped dessert (beignets) was bad! It was awful! We will definitely not be back! They need to do better!
Unfortunately, I will not be going back. From the beginning it was an odd experience. I come in and note we have a reservation and they acted very skeptical and one of them rolled their eyes at me and said they would find us a seat even though jt was pretty empty. Thr seating was uncomfortable. We were in raised seating that was too close to other diners. The service was poor too apart from the man in the black shirt servings water, he was wonderful. He was actually the best part of the evening. The food was okay but not worth how much it was either. It is sad because I was really looking forward to this experience and for my friends birthday but it was bad from the beginning.
The service from the host and our server was excellent. When making the reservation I mentioned that it was an anniversary celebration and this was acknowledged. Service was quick but we were there quite early before the Saturday night crowd. I had requested an outside table but the host mentioned that a business party and a birthday party would also be starting soon and suggested we might enjoy inside more. We definitely appreciated that. The only thing I do not like about Yardbird is the close seating proximity to others.
A very attractive restaurant with fine service. The food is ok. Some of the meat and fish was bit dry. Good sides. Prices are in line with comparable places.
We loved the ambience of the restaurant. We had great service as well.
We went for dinner and were not disappointed. The food was very good. The hush puppies were crispy outside and pillowy inside, served with a remoulade to dip and honey butter. The order is big enough to share. The fried chicken and cheddar waffle is enough to share with a half chicken and two Belgian style cheddar waffles. We also enjoyed the shrimp and grits. There is a creative cocktail list and a well-stocked bar. I have also enjoyed the deviled eggs; three on a plate piled high with a savory filling topped with caviar. This was my second visit but not my last.
Great food but the guy in the front who was taking reservations seemed flustered and confused with open and available seating. We made a reservation with open table and he didn’t have any outside seating but we specifically chose a time and for outside. His excuse that there were not any more seats “ the establishment doesn’t work with online as it’s not accurate” so he would not honor the availability as he has no more outside sitting and told us to wait when one was available. I told him that I had a specific reservation and I would take any available sitting which when you looked around there were at least 4 tables free. He begrudgingly gave us a table of 6. I’m betting he was holding that for bigger parties but how unprofessional to not give it up when there is a reservation of which he should honor.
Had a wonderful first time experience.....WOW!! Best cocktail EVER and the food was fresh and delicious. Loved the music, the ambience and general vibe of the place. Can not wait to come back. Kat was our awesome server helped out by Phil...one of the hardest working guys there!
Good service, food should've been better for the $$$. Biscuits good, cornbread good.
Daniel our waiter was great :-) ! Fried chicken was poor :-( Mac & cheese poor, very little for $12.00 !!! :-(
Drinks were very weak, watered down ! :-(
St. Luois Style Pork Ribs were excellent :-) !!! Smoked Brisket Biscuits were great :-) !!! Mama's Biscuits were great :-) !!! Waffle's were very tasty :-) !!! Deviled eggs were good and nice presentation !
This LA location is nothing like the Miami location - the vibe here feels like a cheesecake factory (nothing like the Miami). The food is more bland here. The Kale salad was pretty bland, the chicken was good but not amazing. The cornbread was not crispy. All was different enough for us not to want to come back and visit LA, unfortunately.
Food was delicious and our server was personable and friendly. I had been for brunch once before but this was my first time for dinner and I will definitely be back to try more of the menu.
I was excited to try the restaurant as I had heard so much about it.
I ordered the fried chicken which was great and tasted very good.My friend ordered the lunch special with the crab cake Benedict. She received the wrong dish so we had to wait another 30 min. Then, her actual dish didn’t taste good.
We were disappointed.
