   Everything was delicious! I loved the sake mojito. The snapper was incredible and the lobster pad Thai was amazing! I am So glad our waitress made the suggestion for the chicken wonton soup. The octopus and mussels were incredible. 10/10

   Amazing live music , food selection was minimal but great . Drinks were excellent and I came during half of ladies drinks. Only issue I had was when the check came my server clicked on the tip for herself for 25 % ! I was upset by this a great deal and it lessened my experience.

   The food was decent but our service was pretty slow. We were waiting at least 20 minutes between arriving and getting waters and actually having our drink orders placed. I'm not sure if there were any specials (we weren't informed of any). The drinks were very good! Especially the lychee martinis - I'd likely go back for the drinks. We ordered the Mongolian beef which was good but was heavier on rice than meat, the pad thai was decent but not as flavorful as I expected it to be. The crab wontons and spring rolls were good as appetizers. We ordered the 2 desserts on the menu and enjoyed both! Enjoyed the ambiance - we were tucked away in a corner so were able to enjoy good conversation. I'd recommend for drinks and ambiance. The food decent and service was subpar.

   Food was great, but portion sizes were small. Very expensive for what you get. Service was bad, as could not find anyone to come over multiple times, didn’t refill drinks, stood over the table when trying to look over receipt and pay. Not a great value, but I’ve been to worse.     The presentation of the food was visually pleasing and the restaurant is beautiful. However, the food was way too salty. Each dish was overpriced and I’ve had much better Thai food for less.

    Love the the ambiance Yao. Our waitress Bus was so awesome and very helpful. The half shell oysters were spot on definitely going to order them again! Pad Thai was so good that is a must try. But the showstopper was the ice cream presentation!

    Yao was so accommodating and so kind. Emma was our server, our party of 16 ended up about 22 and Emma handled it amazing. We were sort of in the back room not exclusively but off away from the main dining. Emma and the bartender knocked out all of our orders in a timely fashion. The drinks were well done and the food was great. I will return to try some more menu items.

    The ambiance and the service was great. I would recommend Yao for cocktails and appetizers. The entrees were not my favorite and we all sent them back. I ordered again but it was only Ok.

    This was me and my ex girlfriends first time being able to see and spend time with each other since we’ve split up ans Yao arguably made it the best date we’ve ever been on even while we were together. It was affordable, aesthetically pleasing, subtle but still fancy. I didn’t expect the curry duck to be sweeter than spicy but it was still enjoyable! Mongolian beef was also very tasty .

    Not at all worth the time and money. Food felt stale couldn't cut chicken with a knife it was that hard. Prawns and pork belly in bao bun was overcooked and hard had to send it back because it was inedible. And it's just not with us, when we send our food back a girl (customer )from a nearby table approached us to talk about food and they had the similar experience. They didn't like the food at all and were very disappointed. Tables were not cleaned properly you could see all the water and food marks on them. Service was poor, there was only one waitress for the entire restaurant. If you are only going there for food presentation then it's fine but if you really wanna have that food go somewhere else. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

    The vibe and service was really good. The salmon curry was good and tasty, but they were so stingy with the curry. Barely enough to eat with the rice. I also ordered the salt and pepper fish and it was very very bland. Doesn’t come with any sauce/ or salad to eat with the rice so it’s a very dry / bland meal. They also mark it as market price.. which turned out to be 65$ for the fish itself which in my opinion was not worth it. They essentially cut up fish filets and throw them in a bed on top of the fried fish shell. It’s absolutely beautiful, and easier to eat this way. Still not enough flavor

    Overpriced food, subpar service, there’s definitely better Thai options around as far as taste profile. Decor is not worth the hype. There were multiple opportunities to improve steps of service. I would suggest that servers do a quality check with at least the entrees. Maybe before getting defensive about feedback, take the food back to chef and trouble shoot it first. By the time my server noticed, my partner already finished his meal ( very small duck breast with curry). We had no idea if they were remaking the dish or letting me order a different one. Needless to say we got the check and went next door to finish off the night. At $30+ a plate and 16+ cocktails, basic steps of service should be implemented. We had planned to spend $60 per person and I felt the need to get up multiple times to grab someone like I’m at a Dennys. Manager did not do a touch point to address a very subpar experience. The decor and ambience is what will get people to come it out but I don’t see retention being high with the value, service and food.

    Let me start with Yao is normally one of my favorite places to dine, the vibe food and drinks are always immaculate unfortunately, that wasn't my experience this time. I decided to visit on a Thursday night to celebrate my marriage to my wife with some friends, I was so excited to bring them to the place I'm always bragging about. I was immediately disappointed to see they had taken the duck salad off of their menu and had switched up the way the served their raw oysters. The service was extremely slow yes, they were busy but I mean it literally took us 15 minutes to get drinks each and every time we ordered them and we had to wait about 20 minutes to order our food. Our server wasn't knowledgeable about the menu and did a horrible job explaining that their side of duck is literally 5 thin strips of duck, it was delicious but a little ridiculous for $25. We ordered two sides of green beans to go with our entrees these came out 15 minutes before the rest of our food and was cold by the time the remaining food arrived. My duck noodles were not good but I understand that's probably more about personal preference than the restaurants wrong doing. I also want to add that my duck noodles came with a nice amount of duck and this entire dish is $27, we would've just ordered this dish twice instead of the extra duck since this came with way more. They justified the price difference because the smoked duck is apparently marinated for 24 hours, still not worth the price in my opinion. My friend did enjoy her Mongolian beef. The drinks were still delicious per usual so that made us happy. Also don't like that they bring this handheld tool to the table for payment and then they rate the experience for you that's insane to me.

    I am a foodie. I love KAO soi. It was horrible. Chicken drum/ leg doesn’t belong with KAO soi. Food wasn’t good. Won’t be back 26 Thai is better.

    This was my second time dining at Yao. Yao is one of my favorite local Thai restaurants to eat at. The food, atmosphere, and customer service is top tier. The whole vibe, down to the interior decorating and art makes this restaurant one of a kind. I would 10/10 recommend!

    The ambiance is nice. The decor and vibe is really good. The wontons were not good at all. It was over fried and had very little cream cheese. The calamari was over cooked. The crab rice was good but dry. I wanted salt but my server never came back until I was done eating 18 minutes later. My wife’s Pad Thai was delicious and why I gave the food a 3. If it were not for that dish the restaurant would have been given a 1. I have been to Thailand several times and this wasn’t close to the homeland. I was Disappointed in the food being that this place is in a high end area. My advice is to tighten up. Management please taste your cooks food for quality taste control.

    We arrived at 9:17pm. We ordered at 9:25pm. We didn’t get out food until 11:30pm, and FYI the restaurant closes at 11pm. We also ordered a bottle of wine that didn’t arrive until 10:30. Experience was just underwhelming over all.
