The food was amazing, probably the best onigiri and crispy rice with tuna I’ve ever had. It was very refreshing and light, and i definitely thing you get your money’s worth. Only thing i do wish was that there was more spicy tuna on the crispy rice! Service was lovely, I came an hour before my reservation and they were able to accommodate me. I was a solo diner. The servers were attentive but feel like they were more attentive with greater numbered parties, which is understandable. Highly recommend to come try the sushi here!

Nice deal, but the sushi roll could’ve been from anywhere. My last experience at Yamato was far better and you could taste the quality.

Amazing sushi and sashimi!! The Crispy roll sushi was the best we have ever had. The staff were 100/10. Would definitely return if we visit Edinburgh again! Cheers from Sweden

We have now visited this wstaurant twice, with damily groups and on both occaisions the food and service wrre first class. We will definitely return some time soon.

We love Yamato and last night did not disappoint! It was very busy and yet waiting time was fine, food arrival was normal - we didn’t have to wait long and even ordered another couple of dishes once finished and still incredibly quick.
