Yalla is a neighborhood Mediterranean smokehouse from the Sesame Collective restaurant group. Opened in summer of 2020, Yalla brings a Mediterranean smokehouse to the heart of the Multnomah Village neighborhood in Portland, Oregon. With a menu of smoked meats, seasonal vegetables, and comfort dishes, Yalla is currently open for delivery, take out, and full service dining. Excellent service and ambiance. Our server was prompt and helpful in making selections. We ordered 5 dishes for 3 people, each being delivered as they were prepared (tapas style). All the food was excellently prepared. We shall return.

The host was incredibly kind and accommodating to our party. I made a reservation that didn’t really fit our needs due to availability. The host bent over backward to adjust plans to fit us in. The food was amazing, like always, and the service was wonderful throughout. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

This place is SO GOOD! Loved everything we had! Had been to Shalom Y’All but never Yalla. From the drinks to the appetizers to the mains to dessert, everything was perfect. Am already plotting my return!

The staff at Yalla clearly care deeply about the experiences they create. From the meticulous plating, to the playful and creative cocktails, to the warm, friendly service, it’s all just so consistently satisfying. When I need a “treat yo self” evening, I go to Yalla.
