Yak & Yeti - Napa
Great food! Its in a storefront location, but a great place for date-night.
The food and service here are always quality! Me and my family love coming here.
Good for a substitute for cooking during the week. Service was good, food good if you like spicy meals. N
Good food reasonably priced....place needs a good interior designer
The food is always excellent. Very authentic and flavorful. Friendly atmosphere.
Great food and service.
This is my new favorite place. I’m a vegetarian but my family are all meat eaters and the menu has lots of delicious choices for us all.
It is a bit of a hole in the wall but don't let that deter you. They have one of the best biriyani's that I have tasted. Food is authentic and very tasty. Definitely a neighborhood gem and would recommend anyone there.
We chose Yak & Yeti because we wanted vegetarian options, and there were several choices. All our entrees were delicious.
We had a lovely evening at Yak & Yeti. We were in a group of 10 and were promptly seated. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The food came out quick and it was delicious. The only thing we did wrong was that, while ordering, as we had heard some horror stories of how hot Himalayan can be at times, we wimped out on the level of spiciness and decided to go too conservative at "mild+". Our mistake! The food, although tasty, really lacked any "zing" (FWIW, we're a 1-bottle-of-Tabasco-per-month family, so we like stuff with a kick). Not the fault of the restaurant--that was on us totally. At the end of our (tasty) meal, we did have to wait around a bit for the check--I think the servers were a bit understaffed that night--but it was fine. We're looking forward to going back!
Good food. In a small strip center.
Excellent food!! So fresh and amazingly flavorful! Our first time there and will go back again soon!!
Really really. Ice people, great food, great service.
Excellent food and service at a very good price! We'll be back.
Service was great and the food was very good. I had Rack of Lamb and my wife had the chicken curry.
All you really need to know is the food is DELICIOUS! The managment and wait staff are friendly and eager to make your meal memorable. We plan to return again and again.
Great Nepalese food. Great friendly "family" service. Clean. Fast. Delicious. A little pricey but good value for some dishes. Curries are smaller portions.
Great and fresh food!
Very good food and "non-Napa" prices!
Great service, quickly seated.
Good variety. Great seasoning. Wonderful salmon and lamb dishes. Homey locals place.
I was blown away by how good this was, it far exceeded whatever I thought I was walking in to. Can't wait to back in the Napa area again so we can enjoy again
Love this place! The veggie momos are THE BEST! They're good at accommodating vegans, but the meat options are also great.
No corkage fee
Such a hidden gem in Napa
The flavors just keep on giving! We had been here once before and kept telling each other that we should go back....after dinner tonight we know the we will not wait so long before returning!!!
Food was delicious and the price was very good. Loved the vegey samosa. Good service and friendly staff.
Excellent casual spot, it's in a business plaza, not much for surroundings but the food is great. If you're craving dumpling style food this is the place to stop. Small but excellent beer selections, they had some great Japanese beers last time I visited. Great casual spot to go with friends when you don't need the white tablecloth ambiance.
We keep coming back for the rack of lamb! So tender you can cut it with a table knife. Friendly staff and a casual atmosphere.
My son treated us to this restaurant for Father's Day. We had plenty of room and
were able to eat and chat. Our waiter was very courteous, even though very busy,
and we loved the Nan bread - both onion and plain. Each of us enjoyed what we
ordered, especially the appetizers of dumplings - yum! Rice comes with each of
the meals, so we had elegant sufficiency to eat. I would highly recommend this
restaurant for any time - special, or just casual. We are so glad to have you here
in Napa Yak and Yeti. Thank you for a lovely evening! We will be back
felt like eating in a cafeteria, food was OK, not good not bad just OK. Not going back, for Indian food in Napa prefer Aroma also on Jefferson.
We tried this restaurant for the first time after wanting to go there for sometime. We are always looking for a good new restaurant in Napa - it is very hard to find. The Yak and Yeti did not disappoint. We both had lamb dishes and they were delicious along with the nan bread that cam with them. The restaurant was spotless. The service was attentive but not overbearing. The menu was creative and attractive with many different types of dishes. I highly recommend you give Yak and Yeti a try.
So glad we stumbled upon Yak & Yeti! Don't be fooled by its location (in a shopping center next to a Pizza Hut)-- give it a chance! The food was to die for. It was hard to decide between stuffing ourselves silly and saving some to enjoy again the next day (we did both). The entire staff was so welcoming and accommodating; they made us feel like family. They made great suggestions and menu adjustments to serve a vegetarian, a paleo fanatic, a spice-phobic and a normal eater. Everyone was full and happy after! Atmosphere is casual and fun-- bright colors everywhere and delicious smells all around. It's not a white tablecloth spot, but we were treated like royalty all the same. And the value cannot be beat-- they were able to satisfy a picky (and hungry) table of four grown women for under $100, at dinner (granted, we passed on the booze this time). I will go back as often as I can, and I've already told everyone I've seen since.
Great sauces and the garlic cilantro naan is a must!
Always great food. Best in town.
Amazing food always.
Can’t resist a restaurant called Yak and Yeti owned and operated by real (former) sherpas.. its my first visit and tonight they have a dinner special for 2 with tandoori chicken and saag paneer, complete with lentil soup, basmati and naan which happen to be my favorites. We started with lamb momo dumplings and ended with mango lassi as a dessert. Everything is tasty. Portions are generous. Service is friendly.
This restaurant is in a class by itself. The decor and ambience rival that of a chick-fil-a, so you wouldn’t want to book a table for an anniversary. It’s very downscale. But the food is stunningly good. I had a group of nine, and my colleagues glared at me suspiciously, wondering why I’d selected something so unassuming. Until they started eating. Their attitudes changed immediately. Excellent value too, by the way. The wine list was unimpressive, but the appetizers and entrees easily carried the day.
Outstanding food. Service excellent. Wonderful place to have casual, relaxing but so delicious meal with friends.
Always great flavors. We love this place!
once again we really enjoyed eating here....had the currie dishes ( "65 chicken" and mango chicken..)..all the best. Such a nice neighborhood restaurant. See you again.
Restaurant was fairly busy, for a Saturday early dinner. Service was pretty attentive during the most part, though at the end when they got busy, they forgot about us and we didn’t get water refills, etc.
The food was good to very good: samosas were great, chicken Teaka masala was very creamy, Sad pioneer was a little too creamy and not enough spinach in my opinion. The veggie curry was pretty good, except the vegetables were pretty crispy still. And of course the non-and rice we’re fine.
Oh my, this is a neighborhood gem. It is casual and good. Twice I have had the chicken roasted in the oven...so healthy with plenty of vegetables. Nam is the best in the world. so soft and tender.
Make reservations because the place fills up early. Small room, so do take out if you need to
feed the kids. They have a wonderful website, perfect....you can even put down your time when you order in the afternoon to pick up....don't have to talk to anyone on the phone.
