We joined on Sunday, not knowing it was a brunch buffet. There were plenty of options, but nothing extravagant. A typical brunch buffet. If you get to the food as it’s being replaced, it was great, but if it had been sitting there awhile it tasted like it had been out awhile. Our server, however, was wonderful. I wish I would have gotten her name. It can sometimes be challenging serving a table when the timeline is built around children, and she did a wonderful job. I’m interested in coming back to try happy hour. Personally, I think I’d get a better bang for my buck.

Restaurant Week. The menu for this event was great. We had the ravioli and the chicken with a Greek salad and a Caesar salad. Dessert was awesome. This was our first time but are going back for a Sunday brunch as well as anxious to try other menu items. Loved this restaurant.

Best dinner we've had in a long time. The place has a great atmosphere. Every Course was amazing. We typically don't order dessert, but I'm glad we did. The Butter Cake was so delicious. The hand crafted cocktails were original and very good.

We had to wait 30 minutes past our reservation time. We have been loyal customers for over 10 years. The food quality is good but the prices have increased and the portion size is half. Disappointing service. This has always been a fav restaurant but we won’t be back.

We ate in one of the igloo pods which never really warmed up enough so I ate in my coat. ( It was 30 degrees outside!) But the food was great, service was great, and we had a great time. Out server Jerod was super!

We went for lunch during restaurant week. We each started with a salad, followed by the mushroom ravioli, and finished with the cake. Mushroom ravioli was the star, full of flavor, and a perfect portion size (not too much-not too little). Our waiter was not as attentive as we would have liked, and we had to wait quite a while for dessert and coffee to come. But overall, it was a wonderful experience.

A group of four of us went to YaYa's as part of Restaurant Week. I must say, my beef tenderloin was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. The outside sear was perfect and enhanced the overall flavor. The sides were great, the dessert, the brown butter cake, was outstanding. Our server was personable, efficient, and added to a lovely evening.

What a find. We went during Restaurant Week, not knowing that was in progress, so found out that they were very crowded for lunch. Regardless, we had reservations (highly recommend) and we were quickly seated and greeted by our waiter. Gave our orders, and the serving came, well presented and as we ordered. Food was outstanding, and leftovers went home to be enjoyed another time. Definitely a memorable experience both with personnel and food. Truly a go-back place.

We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation time and got seated. Food and drinks were great. Our server needs a little work. I having worked all areas in restaurant field looks for things. When mentioned we have never been there before he should made an effort to welcome us, tells us about the menu, explained what being served with our bread, make recommendations. Another thing he never made eye contact with myself or husband nor did he offer more bread.

My 80 year old mother has voted YaYa's the best chocolate cake in Kansas City. Enough said. Though, I perhaps should add that if there was a contest for Duck Comfit and Calamari, I'm pretty sure YaYas would win those as well. Overall, a great brunch experience.

The waiter, Chris, was subpar. I had to ask what the special was and also what the soup was. I’ve never had to do that before at Ya Yas. He packaged the left overs, but they were not closed well and spilled all over the sack

When we arrived, there were 5 people waiting in the entry. After about 10 minutes, the hostess arrived. No apology but she seated everyone and was very courteous. Our server, Stephen, was excellent in every way.
