Good music, food and views of Portland
Great view, comfortable seating, great small plates & nice drink selection. Perfect place to end the day.
Everything we’ve eaten here has been delicious. The happy hour menu is really good and includes oysters currently. The chick pea fries are much more delicious than they sound. They are super good actually. They have a slight , but evident crunch in the outside and the inside is warm, melty, custard-like goodness The cocktail menu is fun and the service has always been good. Edwin took care of us most recently and he did a great job!
Thanks so much for coming up and leaving us some feedback! We're delighted you had a good time, and look forward to seeing you again soon!
The sandwiches were a mess to eat—they fell apart and were very drippy. The Brussels sprouts were underseasoned. I asked our server for salt and pepper. He returned with just salt and embarrassingly said that, “the chef doesn’t believe in pepper.”
The server was friendly and courteous. Otherwise, the experience wasn’t great. I won’t be going back.
Waited 15 min to be served on. Wasn’t a busy evening. Food wasn’t spectacular.
beautiful views, great bar food, charming service and overall good value
Great view. Drinks were creative.
Incredible view. Great service. Good happy hour menu and fair pricing. Fondue platter was amazing. Very fresh vegetables.
Great ambiance and service, be patient and enjoy the views
INCREDIBLE venue. The inside was insanely gorgeous (lights and ambience change colors). The deck- beautiful views, fit pits, several bars..we had a large party there and it worked perfectly. Food was to die for. I had the crab tots and chick pea fries. All of the drinks were delicious from the wine selections to the craft cocktails. Our group had a beautiful night and really enjoyed it. It’s definitely pricey, even for happy hour..but you pay for the views and ambience. Service was A+. We will definitely be back.
Dana thank you so much for coming up with your amazing group! So glad you all had a wonderful time, and found xport the perfect spot for your celebration! Thanks for leaving us some feedback, and we hope to see you all again soon. Cheers, Sue
Awesome views. Great service. Hip place. Great rooftop.
The view from the sixteenth floor of the Porter Hotel is outstanding. The service is excellent. Prices, considering those two facts, at happy hour especially are great. We had several, small plate items as a dinner. All were delicious except the “Chinese Take Out Chef’s Choice”. Beware the dry, overlooked tuna in that. The fondue was particularly delightful, both in taste and presentation.
We requested an outdoor table during a very busy evening and the hostess got us a table and we really appreciated it.
Food was delicious and the drinks are amazing. The rooftop view was a plus.
Great view and your employees are professional but personable.
Thanks so much for coming in and taking the time to leave us some feedback! So glad you enjoyed yourself and all we have to offer. We hope to see you back soon! Best, Sue
Made a reservation but we ended up staying at the bar. Staff is awesome! Great food as well.
Great rooftop bar full of business/travelers and youngish people. Service was quick and effecient. Really nice wine service ( brought a champagne bucket out for the bottle I ordered). The happy hour food was delicious and not overly heavy.
Overall a really unique space with a variety of patrons and great and speedy service.
I was a first time visitor to Portland and in the summertime; I heard this was a great place to be and it was! I requested outdoor seating when I made my reservation and the restaurant honored it. I had a great view, a delicious drink and food, and a wonderful and relaxing time.
We went for date night and had a great table outside. The drinks were great and the food delicious. Definitely bring sunglasses as several of the tables are right in the direct setting sun.
Thanks so much for coming up! We're happy to hear you enjoyed yourself, and hope to see you again soon! Cheers, Sue
The moment we arrived the hostess told us we only have a certain time to dine because we were seated outside. We waited about 10 minutes before our waiter greeted us. We ordered five items off the menu and only loved the tinga tacos they were great. Nice venue, great drinks, not the best service. We went to Huber’s afterwards for food excellent service from start to finish the difference between good and great!
So sorry to hear you didn't enjoy all of the items you ordered, and that it took too long for your server to greet you. I will definitely address this with my staff. We do inform guests of upcoming reservations at the table you're seated at, regardless if it is inside or out, so you can decide if you'd like the table or not. I would love to see you back in so we can make sure you have a better experience. We thank you for coming up! Best, Sue
So, I do like the fact that the service and food are usually great HOWEVER not having Bloody Marys during the week is kind of odd. The music also was way too loud for talking and I am a regular for happy hours...just so loud at this bar this time.
Our servers were excellent. Food was served quickly and hot. Grear happy hour prices
Thank you so much for coming in and leaving us a review! We are thrilled you enjoyed yourselves, and we look forward to serving you again soon! Best, Sue
Great food, outdoor seating area and hotel ambiance.
Excellent food. Great space. Service was a tad slow but it got busy.
Thanks so much for coming up, and for taking the time to leave us a review! I am sorry your service was slower than we would like, it sometimes goes from zero to sixty real quick up here and we try to staff to anticipate that. We hope to see you again and offer more expedient service. Cheers, Sue
Was great!!! And the view is amazing!!!
Thanks for coming in! We hope to see you again soon :-) Cheers, Sue
Excellent rooftop bar with great drinks and happy hour food.
Chickpea fries with tomato sauce were delicious!
Great servers that were friendly and professional.
View is spectacular and we can’t wait for our next visit.
Thanks so much for coming in and leaving us some feedback! So delighted you enjoyed yourself and all we have to offer. We look forward to seeing you again soon! Best, Sue
Nice spacious rooftop with two outside seating areas.
Great place!!! The food and drinks were delicious, perfect. Our server , Noah, was wonderful. He was very attentive, sweet and friendly. I look forward to visiting again soon.
An amazing creative shared bites menu coupled with outside heated seating and a view from the 16th floor! modern decor and neon lights turn this place into the perfect meeting place for a group of friends/family. Valet parking provided. Excellent team of attentive staff with just in time service. We were never left waiting despite the busy Friday. We were even accommodated for our early arrival.
We were looking forward to trying out the rooftop lounge, and while some things were great, the awful and subpar overshadowed our experience. The Good: Servers and Bartenders were friendly, attentive, and knew their menu well. Drinks and food served quickly - presentation was clever. Drinks were delicious. The view was nice albeit blocked by larger buildings. Interior was attractive and there was a good mix of people making it a hotspot for after work, or a night on the town. The Bad: Hostess was incredibly rude. Without saying hello, she asked if we had a reservation. I said no, apologized, and asked if we needed one. With absolutely no explanation, we were met with disdain. She huffed, half rolled her eyes, and said 'Yes', then brushed us aside to help the people that had walked up behind us. Once she finished with the next two groups, one of whom also didn't have a reservation, she turned to us and said the outside couches were free seating otherwise she couldn't help us. It wouldn't have been an issue, except there were open tables in at least 90% of the restaurant. We stepped aside, I logged on to the website and found a reservation for 15 minutes later, booked it and went back to her, hoping to quell any inconvenience we'd caused by coming in to her restaurant. She seemed just as perturbed as before, while looking up the reservation. Once found she says she "might be able to get us a table inside but definitely not outside". We told her that wasn't a problem at all, and thanked her. She then seated us immediately. I'm not really sure why that didn't happen at the beginning. We'd never been there before, and would have loved someone to explain the protocol. Inside tables with couches were awkward - but not horrible. Food was sub par for the area and price. Overall, we'd likely go back for the drinks and the wait service. But we'd skip the food and ask for another hostess.
Super cute but the tables outside are ridiculously small if you want more than two plates.
Felt judged during entire interaction by the waiter and employees servicing our party of five.
Their service sucks. We wait over 30 minute to be served . The view is beautiful
They don’t honor reservations from open table
This place is so beautiful. I have been here several times for cocktails. This time i took my family to brunch. It was empty and now i know why.
The brunch menu was awful. Not a darn thing that sounded good to anyone at the table. We all ordered something and nobody liked what they ordered.
I hope they overhaul the menu. Otherwise...stick to cocktails
The hostess was less than kind. We had just arrived and found that our seating was going be outside with the setting sun right in our eyes. We requested to be moved and her response was ‘I can’t do anything about the sun.’ Are you kidding me? We were eventually seated at a table near the outside patio which was fine, except 20 or so flies that constant flew over our tables. I don’t know if there is anything they can do about this, but definitely a detraction from having a nice dining experience. The space is beautiful and the view is quite nice, on par with Departure on top of The Nines. The food was quite good as well. So a lot of redeeming qualities, but attitude of the hostess and the flies kind of turned us off.
Poor view. Poor service. Poor poor ctttttttttttttttttttttty
Food and ambiance are great. Service is always slow. Need more servers.
Made a reservation for Mothers Day at 2PM, Blazer Game 7 was also on and requested Patio Seating. We were seated promptly and in great spot regarding that, the game was on so we could see the game. The food was great and the service was awesome. I brought my kids, a 2 & 4 years old and the server was very accommodating. We will definitely come back again!
Dencha thanks so much for coming up! I'm so glad to see you had a nice time on Mother's Day! Your kids kept us and everyone else in smiles all afternoon :-) Hope to see you all again soon! Cheers, Sue
We had a delightful time because we were with fun people, the ambiance is so great, the view was excellent and the glassware was beautiful ...but WOW was this place a mess. Our server, JP, was busy drinking and watching the TV with the bartender. The restaurant was probably not more than 15% full when we were there. We waited almost 30 minutes for a bottle of Champagne to be brought to the table. I couldn’t get a refill on my coffee to save my life. And the raw bar- a plate full of raw food- took 40 minutes to be brought to us. However, one of our guests got her food in about 10 minutes... we had 5 people at our table and he brought cutlery for four, he brought 6 waters, and I had to go to the bar where he was chatting to pay our bill after waiting almost 20 minutes for him to come by. The shrimp in the raw bar were over cooked and chalky. Overall we laughed and laughed at the horrible service and mediocre food. But you better be in a patient and relaxed mood to go here... because it is a test of patience.
