Came here on Cinco De Mayo with a reservation. Took over an hour to receive our food and 45 minutes for our drinks. Not even sure we had a waiter and the wait staff were very disorganized and dismissive. Chicken tacos were dry even after reminding them they never brought us our food.

Xolo was fine. I had the vegan chorizo potato tacos and my fiancé has the beer battered fish tacos they were decent. They have vegan that doesn’t seem to follow the same meat substitutes or just slapping some beyond meat or impossible meat on a plate. My fiancé was not blown away by the fish tacos or tamales he had and I wasn’t in love with the Guac.

I went to Xolo for Valentine's day. I must say everything was perfect. The vibe was great. The food was great, the service was great. My partner and I had an amazing time. We will definitely be going back.

The steak tacos are great. You can taste the quality of the meat. They could do with more variety on salsas and desserts. Prices are relatively cheap for the quality of the location. Impeccable roomy bathroom but no space to put coats. Around ten tables but accepts reservation. Wheelchair accessible.

The food was flavorful and presented well. Our server was very personable. But...the restaurant is not very large and yet our party waited a very long time at every stage of the meal (to give our order, and for each course to arrive). Two big negatives were that, despite marketing itself as having a water view, the restaurant really is two blocks away from the river and you can't really see the Williamsburg Bridge or Manhattan skyline from the space. I'm not sure why they chose to play that feature up on their website, if they could not deliver. Also, one member of our party has mobility challenges (frail and walks with a cane), yet the accessible ramp is on the far other end of the building from the entrance to the restaurant, and our guest had no choice but to struggle up and down the stairs to enter/exit (otherwise he would have had to walk a half block to use the ramp). Overall, we would not rush back, but the food itself (once we all were able to get inside, give our order, and taste the meal) was delicious.

We had such a lovely time! The vibe was wonderful - lively and energetic on a Saturday night. We got to watch the sunset behind the Williamsburg bridge - the views are absolutely breathtaking. The food was delicious! Fresh and flavorful! And the watermelon margarita was perfect for an unseasonably hot spring day. The service was great! We’ll definitely be back again.
