Been here before many times with my daughter. We always go for our daddy daughter dates. But this time the service was hirrible
We had a great time at brunch at XIX for my mom's birthday, it is prix fixe but the app and dessert are buffet style, and main course ordered. The service, food, and atmosphere were wonderful. A plus that it is handicap accessible for grandma too. Our waitress Luba was so nice and accommodating!!
XIX continues to serve wonderful cuisine in a beautiful setting.
Excellent. Great service, food, and overall Vibe. Will ALWAYS come back!
We went during Restaurant Week. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with sweeping views of the Philly skyline. That's the only positive we observed, however.
There wasn't anyone to greet is as we entered so we stood around for some time waiting to get someone's attention. Once seated, the service was extremely slow. Our drinks took 20 minutes to come out and service between courses was extremely slow.
On a night with a fixed menu of three items, I would expect service to be much faster.
Maybe its a restaurant week thing but I wouldn't go back to this place for anything except cocktails.
Dominic was great however the Monkfish that I oredered was salty. I like salt, but it was a little overboard. Everything else we had was great.
SItuated atop the Belleview Hotel, this is one of the prettiest rooms and loveliest views in the city! The lunch/bruch is fabulous with the appetizers and salads buffet, then a lovely entree, then the gorgeous dessert buffet. Like a mini Bar-Mitzvah! Elegant and fun at the same time.
Everything was terrific. We were there during Restaurant Week and we loved it. Will definitely go back.
Beautiful dining area, very elegant. Food was delicious. Service was poor. Had to track or call our server over pretty much every time we needed something. Asked for a coffee and was not even given cream or sugar. My teenage daughter has food allergies and when asking about certain foods, some she knew others were her opinion. At one point she walked over to salad bar, moved some lettuce around, and said “I don’t think it has nuts in it”. The fact that an allergy can be taken so lightly was surprising. We also asked if the chef could specially make one of the entrees without a certain ingredient and she said no without even asking the chef. She was very sweet and had a nice personality just seemed very inexperienced. Overall a great restaurant and would certainly go back in hopes of getting better service.
Considering how costly the food is I would of expected better tasting food. Plus the portions are not worth it.
