Always a great experience from the service to the food. I always look forward to coming here.
Although service was great , the taste of the food didn’t stand out to me . Feel like it wasn’t worth what i spent
One of our Restaurant Week favorites! I'm gluten free, and they had 2 of the 3 options for appetizer and main course that I could eat. 1 dessert option. We were a party of 5 and everyone loved their meals!
Fabulous service, delicious fare. We ate outdoors it was amazing!
It was above all my expectations from the service to the food to the ambiance! If I could give above 5 stars I would - the duck was out of this world ! The chef is a master, and their attention to details and service was outstanding.
Outstanding ambiance, service, and food! A must as a pre-show if you looking to spoil yourself!
The XIX Nineteen restaurant is one of the most beautiful dining rooms in the world. In addition, the views of the city are awesome, the service, food, ambiance - everything was simply wonderful. We did not want to finish our lunch so that we could stay there. They have outdoor seating on a private balcony, but we opted to eat inside. Do go if you are in Philadelphia. I can't think of a nicer place for lunch, anywhere. Thank you to everyone on the staff for making our lunch so special.
Went early for drinks and dinner before the show with family. Bartender was great. Seated for dinner and waitress was pleasant and helpful. We do want to suggest that the bar and restaurant work together during Happy Hour. The Happy Hour prices should be extended to the customers eating in the restaurant, especially if they had already had one round at the bar while waiting for their table. Hopefully, next time we dine during Happy Hour this policy will have changed.
Came for brunch - it was nice but nothing special compared to other places:hotels. My steak was fine. My son had an allergy and there was a great deal he could not eat which was not ideal. Service was good and friendly.
Lovely lunch at XIX. Delicious food, attentive and respectful service in a beautiful room.
Wonderful Brunch at a Philly landmark. Arrived slightly early, hostess warmly greeted and seated the members of our party who had arrived. Requested and were seated with favourite server. Later arrivals seated without fuss. Everyone on staff in the restaurant as well as hotel staff encountered were warm & friendly. Definitely seemed pleased to deal with visiting tourists as well as returning locals. Got to show our visitors around and take dozens of pictures. Food and drinks were outstanding. Perfect spot for a special reunion. Will definitely be back for other special occasions.
The food was amazing. The whole vibe felt expensive. I felt expensive. I loved it.
Except for the non-attentive waiter, it was all excellent. I'd never had eggplant curry soup and it was great.
This was one of the best dining experiences we have had, anywhere! The dining room where we were seated in lieu of their regular dining room was nevertheless very grand and had a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was quite hospitable and welcoming. The food was simply outstanding. The seafood and vegetarian options were exquisite. Compliments to the chef, who apparently has a long and distinguished resume. Bravo! We will make it a point to visit XIX Nineteen next time we are in Philly. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed a lovely dinner on a Sunday evening after a concert in the city. The restaurant was very quiet. We were seated by the window, as requested. Our waiter could not have been more attentive. The food was delicious and served very nicely.
It was glorious everything was perfect. It was my daughters birthday and she said she felt like royalty! We will be back!
Great breakfast this morning. Good food and attentive service.
Good way to start the day for breakfast. Beautiful setting, good food, and good, friendly service.
Good time had by all.
The salmon was perfect. Our waiter was professional and had nothing but great service. Beautiful place and vibe
Stunningly beautiful decor combined with exceptional service and of course fantastic food
Great service. Awesome food.
Never have dined in such a spectacular setting! Dinning room is exquisite.
Server and service was the best. Food has a familiar ring; yet the chef’s added twist makes everything far from the ordinary.
Food and setting was great. Gives a great view of the city. Our server was a little off on timing and reading the situation at the table, interrupted while making a toast, otherwise it was a great experience.
For our 25th Wedding Anniversary we decided to dine at XIX Nineteen. The meal was spectacular. Our waiter, Ened, took extra special good care of us. He even took our photo on the balcony.
XIX is one of my favorite places to go to for dinner, events, birthdays and happy hour. I enjoy the ambiance, the nice pours and the excellent service. Over time though I have noticed that my favorite thing to order the seafood tasting has decreased in amount and size. Overall with the view of the city, the bar and seating I recommend this place first to all my friends.
The mushroom risotto and the pan-seared scallops were absolutely delicious! Our waiter was fantastic and super friendly. Can’t wait to dine here again!
It was just a view. Service was great. Food was not at all great.
It was an amazing experience, it was my husband's birthday and he was so pleased and happy. We loved everything.
This was my second time at this restaurant. The ambiance was what I remembered most from my last visit. This visit I wasn’t impressed. The menu selection is very small with little to choose from in all 3 courses. The food wasn’t good at all for the prices. I had salmon and mash. The mash seriously tasted like box potatoes that I couldn’t stomach. I then requested regular potatoes and that’s served with duck chunks, which my waiter didn’t mention and just brought out as an alternative. Sorry, I don’t eat duck! Ordered a salad and it looked thrown together and the dressing tasted like mayo. I was offered a cesar salad instead. I could go on and on why I would ONLY visit this restaurant again for the ambiance, definitely not the food! Service was ok but could have been better.
Lovely, quiet, fresh and complete Amercan and Continental breakfast buffets.
The food was excellent. However, the service was non existent. The waiter disappeared for about 40 min so the manager cleared some of our plates at one point and we were never even given a chance to order a second drink.
Loved the ambience and food!!
Called to see if I could push my reservation back and was told they were slammed for the night. Got there at 7, my reservation time and by the time we left, 9pm, their had only been 4 table turns, 2 2 tops, a 4 top and a 1 top, in the restaurant. We were a party of 6 and ordered 4 glasses of wine, 3 Pinot noir and 1 cab, the waiter suggested we could save money by getting a bottle. After a guest switched her wine preference so we could get a bottle, the receipt proved the bottle was $15 more expensive than each of us getting our own glass of wine. Our meals ranged between the steak, duck, salmon and seasonal pasta. The pasta was very good, everything else was underwhelming for the amount they charge. I also expected the ambiance to have more of a view especially with the pictures shown on the website, their are two balcony's to look out on and when we asked to take a picture on the one balcony we were told it wasnt open. The hostest was incredibly rude. Did not greet us when we walked in and when we asked her to take a picture for us she said "okay" and when we turned around she was gone. I had only heard wonderful things about this restaurant and was utterly disappointed. I will not be going back with family, friends or to take clients.
Our waiter Ened was professional, pleasant and attentive. We both had the Three Course Menu and were able to select anything on the menu. Enjoyed the wine and cocktails. Great location, the bar was active and the restaurant was quiet as we had an early dinner. Music was appropriate and not overpowering.
Great customer service!
Upon arriving after I made a reservation through Open Table and then confirmed my reservation on the phone I was informed that the weekend brunch starts at 11:30 and we were forced to have just the informal breakfast since my reservation was at 10. NO WHERE on the website is the time distinction listed and since this was Father’s Day, I couldn’t get my reservation changed as they were all booked. The hostess was in no way apologetic to our ruined brunch. The food for the breakfast was mildly acceptable although lukewarm to cold. My family and I were expecting a formal Father’s day brunch and were forced to basically have a continental breakfast. Extremely disappointed at the lack of communication. In future, when seeking dining in the Center City area we will be taking our business elsewhere.
Great lunch. The burger was perfectly prepared, club sandwich was unique, and the side salads on the buffet were all delicious
Our server, Luba, was amazing! We also loved that we could do the buffet and get an entree. It was all delicious.
It was a beautiful setting but there could have been more food choices. The waiter, however, was fantastic! He was patient even though we had several non-native english speakers in our group.
