Came here with friends, our server was Nicki. She was very attentive, and kept us supplied with drinks, water, etc. Our food was outstanding! We got hummus, meatballs, spanokopita, the watermelon salad, I got the lobster ravioli and my friend got the pasticchio. The albarino was delicious! It was a nice dinner.

My husband and I celebrated our 26th anniversary at Xenia. The food was amazing. We will be back. The service was attentive but not intrusive. The ambiance was very nice. You knew this was a special place when you walked in the door. Kudos to the chef for a delicious meal.

My experience is always fantastic at Xenia. I celebrate my birthday here every year. The service is always on point and the food is fantastic. I got the ribeye and my boyfriend got the seafood pasta. It was amazing. I tried the chicken lemon soup and it was delightful. My server was Orlando and he was amazing. My birthday dessert came out with a candle and happy birthday on the plate. Wonderful can’t wait to go back.

Xenia is a very popular high end restaurant in Columbia, MD specializing in Greek style food. Pasta, seafood, and meat dishes comprise most of the offerings. Whole fish is also offered. We had the lamb chops and seafood pasta as our entrees and both dishes were excellent. The service was among the best in the Baltimore-Washington area. The appetizer menu is large and varied. We had the grilled Calamari which was served with Feta cheese and was an excellent choice. The price points are high for this area and similar to fine dinning in Washington, New York City, etc. However, given the quality, service, and presentation, Xenia well worth it.

Five friends had a wonderful time eating dinner outdoors yesterday at Xenia. Our meals were delicious and beautifully plated. My ahi tuna, served with grilled asparagus, was fantastic. Others greatly enjoyed the salmon, scallops, and salad chicken. Service was excellent! Even though the outdoor seating overlooks the parking lot, there is plenty of greenery to camouflage the view and only Xenia traffic at that time of day. The outdoor tables were attractively set with plenty of space between them. The hum of Route 100 was minimal and didn’t interfere with easy conversation among the five of us. I highly recommend Xenia.

Everything was wonderful. The server was probably new and struggled with things like finding spoons and sharing the specials. The mandatory 20% service charge at the end was an unpleasant end given the lack of great service.

Where to start! We were super excited to try out the restaurant after reading the reviews and looking over the menu. We arrived a little before our reservation but were greeted cordially by the hostess and a gentleman (manager or owner?). We had requested outdoor seating and DH confirmed we were still open to it if we could be in the shade or under an umbrella. The gentleman took us out and pointed towards a 2 person table with partial shade and said this was the table and if we didn’t like it then we could go inside (not in a friendly tone btw) - his tone and mannerisms indicated he wasn’t going to “put up” with us. Mind you there were tons of other open tables around….BUT we weren’t going to let him spoil our night so we sat down. His arrogance was unnecessary. However the servers we had made up for it - their attentiveness to detail was spot on - from making sure we had the correct silverware to replacing my napkin with a fresh napkin when I went to the restroom. The little details definitely made up for the manager/owner’s attitude. Food: Overpriced for quality/size/area. Here is what we ordered: Appetizers: Flaming cheese (good flavor but rich so would recommend sharing with a bunch of people) and Greek Salad (very good - but small for the price). Main meal: Village Pasta (not worth the $34 price tag - the pasta was not salted when cooked and despite my tossing the pasta with feta the flavor was bland). DH ordered lamb chops (one of their specialty) - he stated it was good but not sure it was worth $56. Dessert: citrus cake - unremarkable. Total bill for 2 people before gratuity for 3 drinks and food was $165…. Both DH and I agreed that despite the excellent service from the servers we will not return. The cost of food doesn’t justify the price tag! Overall the best thing the restaurant has going for it is the service they provide their guests.

Our first time visiting this restaurant, and they were doing quite well... until the bill arrived! The grilled octopus was excellent, the lamb shank and the Santorini shrimp were above average, and the drinks were quite good. The lava cake was good, but a little smaller than expected. Our server was helpful and attentive. Then the bill came, with a 20% tip already included. I can understand an automatic tip for very large parties who might be splitting up the bill, but we were only a party of two! I find this both presumptuous and insulting, and I would never expect this from an upscale restaurant. The irony is I'm known for over-tipping, and tonight I was prepared to tip generously for the attentive service we received, but since the restaurant took the liberty of deciding my tip for me, I left it as-is.

This restaurant makes excellent food. The wait staff is attentive but it was understaffed in the dining room. Next time we sit outside or at the bar area. Too noisy indoors.

From the moment me and my best friend walked in, the experience was amazing. The ambiance, the staff, the food, the drinks, appetizers & desserts were top tier. Everything was made to perfection and they did not disappoint. The food is pricey as it should be. You are getting a 5 star experience. I will be recommending to others and I will be returning.

Afternoon lunch with mom was phenomenal. It was pretty quiet, we dined at 1PM on a Monday, service was friendly and fast; the food was excellent. We enjoyed the zucchini chips and the chicken skewers, we carried away the grilled calamari, grilled octopus, and lamb appetizers as well as a falafel pita. Everything was fresh and well cooked. I highly recommend and look forward to returning.

A collections of appetizers is the best choice from this restaurant. Very good food both visits; one outstanding waiter, one newbie. Sit near the piano or bar if you want to have any chance of a conversation.

What a wonderful place for a first date! My date suggested Kouzina as she was familiar. The service (John and team) was wonderful, the food was excellent, and the ambiance was the right mix of calm and energy. All told, made for an ideal first date!

We thought the Greek Salad was very favorable. It had tomatoes, cucumbers, feta and capers with a light dressing. It was a delight. I had the stuffed branding. It was so good I ate the whole thing. My dog will be very disappointed.

I've had better days at Xenia, guess it depends on the server. Always had fried calamari but wanted to try the grilled. We didn't like and this server was very unpleasant and very rude when we told him we did not like it. I don't care if I have to pay for it but I'm not eating it if it doesn't taste good and don't question me like a criminal just because I don't like something you serve.
