Wynwood Kitchen and Bar Ratings and Reviews
My wife and I have went to this place many times with different group of friends from Mexico that have visited us in Miami during the last couple of years and it is always a winner!.
The food is great and the place cannot be better located.
Extremely pleased with the service.
Good thing I made a reservation because it was PACKED. The service was surprisingly great though, considering how busy they were being that it was art basel. The food came out super fast. The waiters and waitresses were extremely pleasant. The short ribs were to die for!!! I can’t wait to go back.
We had a late reservation and were made to feel rushed as soon as we sat down. The food was very average and the atmosphere nothing special. The staff repeatedly tried to clear our table even though we were clearly still eating. There were also still other diners around and it was before 11pm. As we were waiting on our bill, the house Lights were turned up. This was very rude and not how a classy establishment should behave.
This place is great! Food was amazing and so were the drinks. Sat outside because the weather was cool and perfect also to see the art. My only complaint is the people smoking cigarettes. This place is technically inside of The Wynwood Walls exhibit which smoking is not aloud. If the restaurant is going to allow It they should have a designated area for that.
Perfection in terms of location but extremely noisy and less than stellar service. Food is tasty but very very heavy covered in sauces. Plates are inconsistently sized making the ordering process complicated. And sadly, creates wasted food. Would not return personally, but understand the appeal.
I have been to this restaurant several times since it opened. The Ropa Vieja Empanadas are always great option to start and also the Vaca Frita is not the regular one from a Cuban but restuarant but bit more elaborated and meat very tender. Food is good though portions are small so be cautious what to order as some "to share" dishes are not really to share as they are minimal size. Service is friendly but chaotic. Music was extremely loud in the terrace impossible to hear person across your table, asked the server to lower it a bit which they did and was better and still you got the great background music and able to stop the shouting at my table!
We came from Fort Lauderdale to attend Nude Night. The location of this restarant is stellar. It is on the west end of Wynwood Walls. The food was good, but tended to be a bit saltier than needed to be. The selection was good, but most items could be described as fattening...and delicious.
Enjoyed the food had a very large plate of beets that was very tasty, short ribs was delicious. The music level was so high that my friend and I could not hear each other. It was early on a Sunday. Even if it were a Saturday night the music was too loud to have a conversation through. I just don't understand why restaurants have to be so freaking loud these days it's really not enjoyable and this will hamper my return. Otherwise this could be a nice spot. Were not for the music I would return.
The food was so delicious! We tried a mixture of plates given the tapas like style of the restaurant. Bok choy crisp and flavorful, ceviche stellar, Gambas Al Ajillo fabulous, and succotash and scallops amazing. Service outstanding- a great place to dine in Wynwood.
I took a group of out of town colleagues to this restaurant to see a different side of Miami than the beach. They were thrilled. We took a walk through the Wynwood Wall Art and then dined outside at Wynwood Kitchen and Bar with great drinks and shared plates of a nice variety of food. We loved how the food kept coming out as soon as one shared order was about finished, each time we we were ready to explore a new taste.
The foo was just ok. Nothing special. The main reason to go is so you can be right at the Wynwood Walls and people watch. I wouldn't go there to have a great meal, I would take tourists there maybe for a drink a quick bite. Overall, not great although the decorations and ambience are great.
