Wynwood Kitchen and Bar Ratings and Reviews
Service was ok, but hostess at the entrance was super rude, I asked her to please to look if they had a table outside, she didn’t even try to help, she just started repeatedly yelling my name without listening and pointing to the table inside that she assigned to our group.
very busy Saturday in Wynwood. Restaurant was busy as well. Service was very good. Food was uneven. Cold tapas were OK, warm selections, especially duck and mushrooms were excellent. Next time in the neighborhood will try something else. Tip for those dining at this place: Lines for bathrooms are very long. Plan for it!
Excellent service. Three different tapas-sized entrees were all delicious. A little pricey. Qualifies as one of the noisy restaurants, not unusually loud, but tough to have a conversation without raising your voice significantly. Great people-watching from some of the tables on the covered deck, as pedestrians stroll by to enter the Wynwood Walls.
Lot's of wait staff and the restaurant was more than half empty. Still took a while for anyone to approach us. Then we got handed off to three different people. The last person was very friendly when it came time for the tip. Other than that is was an okay experience.
Our delicious meal began with cocktails featuring mimosas and their specialty drink called fizz. We really enjoyed the tuna tartare and the ceviche. Beet salad and pan seared scallops followed and were both delicious. Decided to order an additional food item which was the short ribs. Incredibly tender and flavorful. Overal dining experience was very good. Great artwork displayed and a lively vibe inside and outside of restaurant.
We had to be in Wynwood to pick up our race packets for the Miami half. We knew it would be crowded. There was only reservations available for 4 before 6 pm or after 9 pm, although it was not crowded when we got there at 5:45 nor was there any wait. The food and service were good and we enjoyed that each dish came out when it was ready.
The food was wonderful. A decent variety of beers and drinks. The service was excellent. Out server checked on us multiple times and the staff was always around. My only issue was the noise level inside. It was not that crowded but still quite noisy. No fault of the venue, just a rambunctious crowd that night. Highly recommend it for an Art District dining experience
While the natural outdoor setting is a gem, the food and service quality have taken a major dip over the past couple of years. Our New Year's Eve dining experience was regrettable and disappointing on all levels. We booked an 8:45 reservation, but the restaurant failed to mention they were closing at 9. Upon seating, we were rushed through every phase of the dinner, and the mediocre food was delivered with minimal regard for our enjoyment. Cocktails were poorly made and undrinkable.
They didn’t tell me they were out of what I ordered until AFTER my girlfriend finished her entree. At that point, I told them to cancel my order, after which the manager came over and was rude about it and unapologetic. Then they took a long time again to give us the check. Last time you’ll see us there.
Always like this spot and the food BUT I reserved in advance on OpenTable and specifically requested an outside table for 5 people. Instead was offered (1) a table next to the kitchen (2) and then a table next to the restrooms. When I refused both, we were given a perfectly good (and available) table for 5 outside. What's with that? Why do restaurants do this??
Food was good, service was slow. However the servers and manager were polite. Good ambiance and location. Step up the service and customer focus please at the entry!
When we arrived no table despite reservation in dining room so got seated in bar. Took a long time to even get recognized finally flagged someone down. Food was appetizing but nothing fantastic. Atmosphere loud, boisterous kids running around reminded me of a chain resto. Nothing really unique. Just OK. Too bad because it used to be great (was here a while back and really enjoyed it).
