This is the only poor review I’ve posted. One person had Elk which was delicious. The Brussels sprouts were inedible they were so salty. The Caesar salad was tasteless. The cabbage dish was kind of a blob mixture of ingredients and the veloute overpowered the whole dish. Server was nice but service was VERY slow. We won’t be back (and we go out every single night when we’re in Vail.
We had a wonderful meal at WYLD. The setting at the Ritz is beautiful - great view of the mountains and the resort itself. They have a great wine list and the food was outstanding. We had the elk chop, buffalo rib eye and the pork chop. Believe it or not the pork chop was one of our favorites. It was perfectly seasoned and had lots of flavor. I would highly recommend dining here if you are in the Beaver Creek area.

Disappointing and not in alignment with the Ritz Carlton standards in any way. We ordered many items to share. As they say “ all show no go”. Not one dish was well executed. Not one. The plates even came out out of order. The server was very attentive so the kitchen was the source of a complete break down. We were married here 13 years ago and are annual “ regulars”. As good as Spago was, Wyld is a fail. We will not return. The valley has a plethora of great tables; this was a frustrating waste of an evening out. And average at best. It was our anniversary so cancelled a Beanos Cabin evening to give Wyld a try.

They were ok.
I jad salmon for main course. It was not wild caught, just farm raised. It tasted nothing special but the price was very expensive at 36$
My wife had the filet mignon
The presentation was very poor.
The filet arrived without any sides. It was slightly overcookwd and was 50$. Thats too expensive.
You can have steak at any top nyc steak house and dont have to pay 50 bucks
This was not worth it

The table we were given was very odd for a party of five, we asked to be moved which they did to a much more comfortable table. Food was great, my filet was a wonderful piece of meat. Our service was very good without being overbearing. The restaurant really needs to up their game atmosphere and decor wise. It looks like a Marriot not a Ritz.
Ben, our waiter, was as good as it gets; experienced, attentive and knowledgable about wines. My lambchops were medium rare despite my asking for medium. The whipped potatoes accompanied were lackluster although my date's baked potato was very good. The tuna credo was fabulous and the avocado mousse both unusual and delightful. The decor is rustic and dated, consistent with many Ritz Carlton restaurants.
Our experience at WYLD was okay. Service from our server was horrendous! I would recommend eating at buffalos the other restaurant in the hotel much better selection and service.
The brunch offering is amazing! The choices are endless and the variety is unreal. They also have some great breakfast standards! We went they were having a 2 for 1 special, but I'd even consider going at full price for a special occasion!
Had a special birthday planned with family, and was notified by Brendan ( manager?) that Wyld would be closed the evening I had reserved. He went above and beyond providing us with a beautiful table in the great room at the Ritz, as well as multiple food menus to chose from, and finished the dinner with a lovely cake. Service and food were impeccable, we all thoroughly enjoyed the evening. I really appreciated the fact that Brendan cared enough to make sure we had a memorable eventing.
Well... it was a Sunday brunch buffet. So, yuck. That makes it hard for me to be objective because who on earth wants that? No idea til we got there that there was no menu service, the excellent bloody mary drinks ($) saved the day but barely. A pretty room and nice mountain-y feel but not that distinctive from similar others.

We had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed the live music of Austin's Rose too..lots of interesting preparations. However, the vegetarian pasta was poor-not much flavor. In this day and age there should be more vegetarian options and certainly more interesting than just noodles with vegetables thrown in. All the meat and fish entrees were great.
Beautiful setting in Batchelor Gulch with views of the ski slopes. Several starters were tempting, we shared the kale salad with cranberries and pepitas-delicious! My husband enjoyed the Bison Rigatoni prepared al dente with a rich meaty bolognese. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits, ample serving size with spicy Cajun sauce. The wine list, while expensive, had some interesting choices and included a few half bottles. A lovely evening.

Several people in our group had a gluten intolerance as well as a dairy intolerance. We were all able to enjoy an excellent breakfast with no problems! I had the Cast Iron Huevos Rancheros and they were excellent! My husband loved his Duck Hash and eggs, and my kids were thrilled they could have gluten free, dairy free pancakes and bacon! Thank you for a delicious breakfast with great view of the mountain!
Sadly we were disappointed in our experience Friday night. I read the reviews, and decided to have an early dinner there before the Vail Jazz Fest performance located in the ballroom. You have people checking into a hotel (i.e. stopped cars getting luggage, children, etc.), people checking out of a hotel, people coming in for dinner, people leaving for dinner elsewhere, people coming in for the concert - valet was impossible. Not the valet parker's vault, poor design for car "in and out". When we checked in for dinner we told the hostess AND our server we were there for the concert. Not once did anyone direct us to get our valet parking ticket validated. After we stood in line to hand our ticket over (after the concert), we were told we had to go inside and pay?? We then had to track down our hostess, who had to pull up our reservation to "prove" that we had indeed had dinner there. Back to dinner, our server seemed to vanish right about 7:20 when we needed to pay to get to the line forming outside the ballroom at 7:30. We also were not told until we got to WYLD that the regular dinner menu was unavailable except for a few choices, they wanted you to have the $45 buffett. We each had two cocktails/glasses of wine. When our bill came it was double the cost of the buffett. Definitely a mark up on the alcohol. Not connected to WYLD, but the bars at the concert, manned by the Ritz, were slow, and terribly over priced. One gin & tonic, one Rose (they wouldn't pour a glass of chardonnay, had to buy a whole bottle?) was $45. I think on a normal night (no concert), with a normal menu option, it could have been a very enjoyable evening. But my guests will only remember the frustrations. When the last part of your evening is the frustrating attempts to get your car (after a performance that last ONLY one hour?), it's the last impression. When will event venues figure out that valet parking can make or break your evening??

Although the restaurant is more on the pricey side, everything was delicious, especially the local breads served. The service was impeccable, definitely worth a visit.
We had a reservation with OpenTable and we were asked if you wanted to sit outside which we except. The view is great and music was being played. Our server tim came over and introduced himself. I asked if we could also order the bar menu and he said yes. I went to the bathroom and I noticed there was another restaurant at the hotel which is called buffaloes, and I noticed that on Thursday they have ribs as a special. My friend really wanted to have the ribs so we thought about going over to buffaloes instead of wild. We came back to the table and asked Tim if we could order the ribs from the other restaurant in here and he said sure we could. We order dinner and five minutes later he returned telling us that they had Run out of ribs. My friend order a very plain burger which came a little overcooked with no lettuce and tomato. He did not want to return and he ate it My husband had a very juicy burger that came with fries , we also got an order for onion rings it was very delicious and I had the quinoa salad which I enjoyed very much with a piece of salmon on top. Overall I liked my dinner very much . my friend Who had the over cooked hamburger did not like it. I would return there in a minute. The menu on the wild restaurant is not that seducing. I would recommend them making over the menu. The bar used to be a lot prettier when he used to be Wolfgang puck.
This was our first return to the Ritz at Bachelor Gulch since Spago was the main restaurant (which was exceptional). The group I was with entered the evening excited to return and try Wyld, with expectations of another excellent experience. Unfortunately Wyld fell quite below expectations. Food was largely good (great in some cases) except for the mac and cheese, which was watery, bland, and overcooked. The service was bad for an average restaurant, let alone one at a pricepoint such as Wyld. Waiter was absent after taking entree order. One member of our party didn't receive her first drink until an hour into the meal. The rest of us were never asked for a refill and had to make multiple attempts to get the slightest attention from our waiter. My first drink was never bussed away even after I finally got my glass of wine, which arrived when I was more than halfway through the entree I had paired it with.
In short, there are far better places to spend your money at for dinner at Beaver Creek. We had a lovely experience with great food and truly great service at Grouse Mountain Grill the evening prior, and it was a better value as well. The Ritz can do far better.

We were very disappointed with Wyld. The food was ok. Had to send steak back bc it was cold. The service was awful. Took way too long to get our meal. Then the wait staff took my daughters food away before she was finished.
Definitely a must when visiting Beaver Creek or Bachelor's Gulch! We had a fabulous dinner!!!!!! Great food!
