Everything was fabulous!!! The pasta with black truffles had to much foam but other than that awesome.
Wonderful service from Jeff our waiter. Food was exquisite
It was very expensive which we expected. Quite long intervals between courses even though there were many empty tables midweek. A few courses were outstanding and a few just good. Too much salt in a pasta dish, salt can be added at the table but not taken away. Very attentive wait staff and excellent wine list. Beautiful dining room. We had a lovely evening but came away a bit disappointed.
Service and food were great! The Scallops and lamb were delicious.
Overall average. My pizza was really bad. One of my friends asked for a slice, after trying it said this is terrible and I agreed. Did not finish the pizza. My two friends both ordered the same kind of salad. The three of us split the two salads. We all thought it was OK.
Unbelievably good food. Who knew the best seafood was in the mountains? I dont know if you can go wrong with any menu selection! We’ll be back!
My second time returning to Wlyde . I was impressed even more this time . The menu was outstanding with a flavor profile that blew my mind as a food network junkie . The dessert was out of this world ( It was the Apple dessert ) !
An excellent experience for my sons bday. From the waiter to the chef. Two thumbs super UP
Overall a poor experience. Would not recommend
Incredible. Create and delicious dishes. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable. Perfect special occasion dinner. Chef came tableside and explained preparation. Can’t wait to return.
Celebrated our first evening of honeymoon at WYLD. We started with the tuna cone and cauliflower appetizers. Both excellent. Main course was Brussels sprouts and Maine scallops. Service was superb. Overall a great start to the vacation.
Every time I break down and allow myself to be talked into eating at this Ritz Carlton restaurant, I leave either disappointed or angry, or both, and swear I’ll never go there again. I should be angry with myself, since I know how it always turns out.
This time, after making a reservation on Open Table and and not being warned of the $100 parking fee by Open Table, the parking valet, the host or the server, we ate lunch and were told by the hotel’s general manager that they wanted to discourage people from coming to the hotel and parking because parking space is limited and very valuable to the hotel.
The food was fair. The server was pleasant.
I hope I never go again.
Limited menu items
Food was ok!
Very slow service for the only 3 tables in the whole restaurant!
I went there because I wanted some meat (as advertised in the picture) the only option was skirt meat for two people at $85 wich I wanted for only one... no other option... then Inhad to go for tge salmon wich was ok... they made a mistake in my order first ... I have to say they came up and apologize and offer the ghlass of wine I ordered for free ...
really not what I expected!.... Sorry!!!
WYLD replaced Spago which we have been coming to for years during holiday ski vacations. Just not the same. Food is good if not outstanding. Service was OK -- one miscue was quickly rectified. Actually a bit rushed and the place was half full. Prices are very steep even for the Ritz. Likely won't be back and we REALLY loved Spago........
Not good menu option.
Start to finish - awesome! Service was outstanding. Our server new every detail of all menu items, and did a fantastic job ensuring we were well taken care of. The Chef also came to the table - nice touch.
Except for the Salmon entre all of our selections were left half eaten. VERY poor substitute for prior restaurant, Spagos. Never had a warm Barratta that was served without crackers or toast.....supposed to eat the melted cheese with a spoon??
Menu is limited and food was not great especially considering the prices! Ambiance and food were much better when it was Spago....very disappointing!
We have stayed at quite a few Ritz Carlton’s on our travels and loved them. We were staying in Vail and decided to go for lunch without the kids. It was disappointing to say the least. The young lad serving us was out of his depth or perhaps having a bad day. The duck and waffle dish was very poor. We sent it back only to be charged for it at the end. Our water wasn’t filled up once and our coffees which made their way around the restaurant a few times were cold and milky. Really not up to Ritz standard.
Food was fine but not special if one takes in pricing considerations. It was also annoying that one is charged $100 for parking.
We expect more from a restaurant at the Ritz Carlton. The ahi tuna cones are delicious, as always, and the pizzas are reliable, but on this day we were disappointed by both food and service. They were clearly short-handed, as evidenced by the server's station encompassing tables from one end of the restaurant to the other. So it took awhile for him to come back to our table to tell us that two of the entrees we ordered were not available because "they were not made correctly". I appreciate that chef is not willing to serve food that is not up to spec, but we should have been informed right away, before we started salivating with expectation. And three minutes later our table mates' food arrived, leaving us with nothing to eat. My friend made another choice, and that came out virtually inedible (so much for serving food that is not made properly). We informed the server and it was taken off the bill, but it was a very unsatisfying meal.
The food was outstanding. Nothing more to say.
What they can improve on? I wish I new my kids meal would arrive first, however did I mention the food was to die for. This restaurant needs to be on your short list of your in the area. This restaurant ties with splendido
The host and hostess were EXTREMELY RUDE but our waiter, Derek, was very sociable, kind and accommodating - the perfect server. The food was great.
You will not find finer food in Beaver Creek. Absolutely outstanding meal.
We had lunch here three times while skiing in Beaver Creek. The cocktails are great and the food is excellent. While the prices are high, the quality of the food and service makes it worth going. They even give you slippers to put on while you eat. Order the ramen!
I booked for a party of 6 at this place yesterday for lunch. It's located at the Ritz, beautiful place, and I had to put a credit card down to hold my reservation. Upon arrival, we were told that valet parking is $100. So to be a patron at this restaurant, you must pay $100 to park your vehicle so you can also spend $300 or more on lunch. You pay the Ritz to pay the Ritz's restaurant for a mediocre experience. Our appetizers were forgotten, but the manager did comp them which was a kind gesture. The chicken salad is bland. So is the truffle Mac and cheese. The starters were exceptionally good. I just can't suggest anyone in their right mind wants to go to a very crowded place with no evident parking garage and spring for the most expensive valet fee I have personally ever seen. $40, sure. $100?! That's absurd. Lastly, if you're going to charge your restaurant patrons that much money to park their method of transportation, TELL THEM IN ADVANCE AT THE TIME OF THE BOOKING. Don't spring it on someone while they've been sitting in their car for 10 minutes, waiting to get to the entry way with cars in front and behind them and no way to get out. And of course had we said, "that's absurd, we'll go somewhere else," I'd still have been charged the cancellation fee. We have a vacation home here and I often go to restaurants and spas (love the Hyatt spa) and I can say with confidence that I will never again frequent this hotel.
We enjoyed our Christmas Eve dinner at Wild Restaurant. Ordered some wonderful wine. Great dinner options, even for our GF eaters.
The food was good. The service was great. We'll be back.
Excellent restaurant which has been steadily improving. The service in particular has greatly improved.
I ordered the scallops and my wife had the chicken. She thought the chicken was a little salty and ended up eating half of my scallops. I thought the chicken was okay but not amazing. The scallops were great!
This was our 2nd year of celebrating our Anniversary here. The food and service are absolutely outstanding. We had one complaint this time, I asked for a quiet/private space for our dinner which we were given yet much to our surprise, some of the staff sat right behind us having a loud rambunctious conversation the entire time. There were many open tables that they could have used and instead chose to sit right where we were trying to have a private, romantic dinner. I will take it as a One Off as this is not normal for WYLD.
Outstanding meal. The service was excellent. I must say, though, it was very overpriced for what we got. The food itself was incredible, outstanding but I ordered the scallops and received 3 scallops for $38.00. My husband got the duck and he received 2 slices from the breast for $38.00. We were celebrating our anniversary and it was a wonderful dining experience. Just over priced.
The incredible food matched the fantastic and attentive service by the staff.
We had a great time at Wyld — one of the best dining experiences we have experienced in some time. Our server Kyle was outstanding! Food and wine options were very good and the quality of our meals was excellent. Overall a wonderful evening — highly recommended!
Food has poor presentation with poor quality. Unimpressed.
Amazing food and service, frankly way exceeded our expectations. The pasta special blew us away as did the Restaurant Week $20.18 two-course entre of chicken. We were pleasantly “shocked “ by the whole experience. Kudos to the chef and waitstaff for a lovely dining experience.
We are regular visitors to WYLD where we have enjoyed consistently excellent food, prompt and efficient service. It is not inexpensive but, given the quality of the food, fairly priced
Creative and incredibly amazing dishes - the mixture of flavors is outstanding. Personalized and warm service. Loved our meals there.
Outstanding food, staff and service! Would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! Outstanding! Thank you!
