   Everything was lovely. Can’t wait to go back. We sat upstairs because reviews said downstairs was loud, but would be interested to try downstairs next time.

   Our party of three old friends really enjoyed everything about our experience at the Wye Oak Tavern. The restaurant is in a beautiful old church building. The architectural details have been preserved and the transformation to a restaurant is fantastic. Our on small criticism would be that the chairs were not the most comfortable for us. They are a bit deep for shorter people and do not provide enough back support for our elderly bodies. Our waitress was fantastic. She was welcoming, informative, and attentive. She also had a great smile and a sense of humor! The food was very good. We all had seafood that was beautifully and creatively prepared. The swordfish piccata was moist and tender as was the salmon. Also, the cocktails were delightful. Try the Ladybug!

   Food was good. Service was excellent. Beautiful building. Only complaint is it's really overpriced.

   Had a wonderful dinner at Wye Oak for our anniversary. Crab cake and ravioli appetizers were delicious and perfect size for two to share. Rockfish and newly changed Salmon dishes were also very flavorful without being over-the-top. Dining room can get a bit loud and lively but the space is very cool. Will definitely return!

   If you are Catholic this is not for you , if you are respectful of any religion this place is not for you, if you are looking for a romantic dinner, definitely this place is not for you.

   We had a fabulous meal! The noise level is not conducive to easy table conversations. And the facility itself is not easy for anyone handicapped. I mentioned that one of the people in our group would be on a walker and yet we were seated at the farthest area in the dining room. Greeters were not helpful; server was friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable. But above all, the food is phenomenal !

   Wye Oak Tavern is a unique new experience in dinning. It has great atmosphere, attentive staff that allow you to breathe between drinks, appetizers, main course, and desert. They do not rush you through your meal so you can take your time and enjoy. The food was quite tasty and plentiful. We will definitley return.

   Beautiful setting. Staff are exceptionally well trained. Sommelier Steve was a pro’s pro. Drinks were well crafted and as delicious as they looked. Crabcake appetizer was one of the best in an area that crabcakes are king. Rockfish entree was the best I’ve had. Prime ribeye was everything the reviews claimed. Overall very reasonable pricing and we were able to enjoy an evening of fine dining without spending a car payment to do so. I’ll definitely make the trip up there again this summer

    Our dinner at the Wye Oak Tavern was one of the best so far of 2025. The space is so unique with lots of character and elevated ambiance. Our cocktails were superb but can we talk about the appetizer of the Fluke Crudo? That flavor profile was so unique. Our main course proteins were cooked to perfection with sides that made you just want to eat them. The dessert capped the meal on a high note, that Hibiscus Curd is to die for. What really made the evening though was the attentive service we received from beginning to end of our meal. Dan and Emily took the utmost care of us, Dan providing suggestions for food choices, Emily a friendly chat. This restaurant definitely hits the mark. I will return again for sure!
