The food wasn’t bad but not sure if it was worth that price point. My biggest issue with this restaurant is no parking. It is inside of a hotel, so sometimes the road is blocked off, sometimes it’s not. There is a good bit of street parking around the neighboring streets, but it’s not covenient.

Treated my wife for Mother’s Day brunch. The service, ambiance and food were 5star. My wife and I were reminiscing as our daughter attended the school (Visitation). They did a very nice job preserving the historical character of the building. Our server(Mazie) was fantastic! Very knowledgeable of the menu and recommended a kickazz drink (Sun Rush)…. for you knob creek bourbon connoisseurs highly recommend. Great new spot in Frederick

Mother’s Day brunch was outstanding! The setting, in the former chapel at Visitation (a convent now operating as a hotel, restaurant and event venue) was stunning, and as beautiful as it was, the brunch was even better.

Tremendous location and staff was point on led by Joe and his team and we had Ashley as our waitress. I food was good, but not outstanding. The 45 day dry aged prime was the feature and for good reason.. the other accessory dishes seemed to be soul searching for its place. The ravioli and parmesan "cheesecake" were very odd in flavors as well as delivery. Nothing was bad. But outside of the steak, nothing was amazing.

First visit to Wye Oak. Food was fantastic! Absolutely delicious. Stephanie was an excellent server: upbeat, attentive, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She gave us mouthwatering and very accurate descriptions of the dishes we asked about. Standout dishes were the Smoked Beet Pastrami served over funnel cake, the Cold Fried Chicken Liver Pate, the Rockfish, the Cedar Planked Salmon, the Smoked Porkloin Chop, the Roasted Half Chicken , the Filet Mignon, the Macaroni with dry aged beef, and the Spiced Sweet Potatoes! And for dessert, we looooved the Cheesecake with strawberry compote and granola! This place is a gem. Guests from NYC were very pleased. Will definitely be back! Thank you!!

Was disappointed overall, maybe I had too high of expectations after going to other Voltaggio restaurants. The space is absolutely stunning. We started out grabbing cocktails at the bar, the martinis were great, and I appreciated that the bar wasn’t overcrowded with too many chairs so it was easy to walk up to. When we were seated at our table, the server gave a description of the menu and made a big point that we had to order everything at once. I assumed this would mean that she would time things accordingly. I mentioned a few apps that we would definitely do and asked how much would be too much food for our party. Instead of being candid, she made a joke about taking boxes home. All of our apps came out at the same time (6 apps for 3 people) so the table was overcrowded. And we ordered way too much—- we also split the ribeye and rockfish and three side dishes. I probably could have done another glass of wine with the food but was never asked. And because we all like dessert, we did dessert which we took most of home. All the food was fine, but nothing I would want to go back for. The service was disappointing, if our server paced our appetizers so we could have enjoyed them, rather than feeling rushed with an overcrowded table, or if our server warned maybe to order slightly less food, I think I would have left overall more impressed.

Celebrated Mothers Day and my neighbor’s 84th birthday. The food and service were excellent. It’s a bit on the noisier side but still an overall excellent dining experience. Will be back again!

The food was excellent, as well as the service. The setting was very unique and beautiful. One, if not, the best restraint in Frederick, Mayland.
